BACKGROUND: What are PPVs and Why do we do them?
Pay-Per-Views exist for HYPE. They’re the grand stages that represent significant points in a character’s career to show that they MADE it. This is where stories can begin, develop or end on a big stage. Any cool, fun or sexy idea that you can think of: This is the place. It’s one of the rare moments where LAW’s decentralized continuity can converge into one place and seem connected.
LAW has two integral PPVs every six months or so: We are LAW and Fight the LAW. Where Fight the LAW leans on the themes of its travel, We are LAW is our self-celebrating Wrestlemania. Our Wrestle Kingdom. Our Double or Nothing.
Between these events, LAW also has an assortment of other events, ranging from themed Supercards, Tournaments and User-run special events. Each one helps to grow the community, tell new stories and helps put a spotlight on what folks are doing.

Lunar New Year!
And instead of going for our usual Tokyo Dome, we will visit The National Stadium, Beijing China.
The stage is a traditional paifang gateway with lacquered red wood, curved roofs matte black, plaques of gold depicting horses and snakes against a wind or grass glade. Silver tracing accents the Chinese characters dedicated to We Are Law 8. And lanterns would hang from the highest roof, red with yellow symbols depicting the zodiac over amber lighting. The rampway is similarly matte black, but with a golden strip running along the crease and base descending towards the ring in a slight decline.
The ring itself has pale jade mats with a black apron. On the edge is a golden border trim, then rolling clouds made of flowing lines, shapes and lunar symbols wrapping around the ring’s four sides. The posts are red, with black chains connecting to red pads. Ropes of altering red and gold. When you take a birds eye view, you will see the ring like a moon in the middle of a festival city ninety thousand strong. Hanging banners on the stadium bowls, lanterns, plentiful handing from railings and suspended bannisters on posts. Charms scattered, varied and intertwined on decoration—etched on linen, painted on floor or dangling on string.
So! When wrestling becomes a festival procession, what story would you tell?
