Fighting Style:
Boxing and MMA and street fighting. A late bloomer as a fighter, but as noted by his trainer Moonyoung, he is a pretty quick learner. He had no fighting experience before being trained by Moonyoung, The Queen and Daldal Choi, but mostly by Moonyoung... In the course of a couple of months he turned into a decent fighter and continued training ever since. His fighting style is completely influenced by his trainers and his hostile experiences on the streets. In the ring, he would try to put the knowledge what he learned to good use. Mostly trained in boxing, but is not beyond thinking and doing things outside the book, like kicking, tackling or if push comes to shove, use whatever items at hand if the situation is desperate.

Personality and a bit of backstory
His personality is built by the hardships of life. For most of his life, he was bullied and lacked confidence. Also, for most of his life he spent being afraid of and hating women because his dad died early in his life and his mom left him and his two younger siblings to their own devices. Never heard from her ever since. That meant he had to take care of not only himself, but two little kids as well. That meant he had to live in the slums, do back-breaking part time jobs while going to school and somehow taking care of his siblings as well... If that wasn't enough, all of that was while he was constantly being bullied by others. One day he could no longer take it, he lashed out in rage, but it only got him humiliated badly.
The next step in his life that eventually changed everything, was him enlisting in an all-girls martial arts focused school called Wild's High. It wasn't because he was super thirsty for some underskirt, it was because it was completely free of charge for him as the school was trying to go mixed. However, he was the only male there and the school has made some weird policies that encouraged all the girls to get to know the boys, a singular boy, in this case... It was fun and games at first, but it eventually turned into some kind of a love triangle among many other things...
One of those other things would be him joining the boxing club, which if we called a voluntary choice, would be a stretch. Three top girls were taking turns at training Jaegu into a fighter, though Moonyoung did the most of it. His hate for women eventually faded and was replaced with respect as his trainers did their best to turn him into a proper fighter because he was determined to defeat his bully in an upcoming martial arts tournament, which he kind of eventually did, just barely. The bullying stopped and he regained his confidence.
As mentioned earlier, he was in a love triangle, but he ended up deciding on a hot, rich and quite arrogant blonde girl that was often called by the name ''The Queen''. However, one day, without telling Jaegu where or for how long she was going, she just left. He eventually got tired of waiting and went looking for her. He believed she was staying somewhere in Japan and he was determined to search the whole damn country to find her.
Of course, he needed money for that and as luck have it, he got an invitation from a women focused fighting league called LAW. Well, that was quite the irony - first he goes to female focused school, then he joins the female focused fighting league... There was another reason for him joining it. It was an extremely popular league around the world and if his girlfriend saw him in there, in the ring, on the television, that was bound to get her attention. Also, it pays way better than any part time job. He was signed to the Young Lions programs. He didn't fully get it, but understands that it's how they classify rookies, or something...
They provide him with a place to stay for free, and the matches pay well, at least compared to what he's used or expected to earn in any other potential job (however, nowhere near as much as the main roster matches). He doesn't realize this, but these things will compel him to do things that he wouldn't want to be a part of if he wants to keep a roof over his head and money in his pocket.
Jaegu doesn't like to hurt people, physically or mentally, but if he gets pissed off or is left with no other choice, then he might just bring the pain to you.
