Her father, addicted to gambling, squandered all their savings and eventually abandoned them, disappearing with whatever little remained. Forced into poverty, Rina and her mother had no choice but to move to America in search of a fresh start. Through years of hard work, Rina’s mother found her footing as a professional wrestler in the minor leagues, and together they gradually rebuilt a stable, if humble, life.
From a young age, Rina spent countless hours watching her mother wrestle, dreaming of stepping into the ring herself one day. That dream took an unexpected turn when a wrestling promotion brought them to Puerto Rico for several months. While her mother traveled to compete in nearby towns, Rina discovered a local wrestling school and eagerly began training there whenever she could.
At the school, Rina met Lilia, a 19-year-old with dreams of her own. Their coach, recognizing Rina’s enthusiasm, often paired them together for practice matches. Though Rina lost more often than not, a spirited rivalry and deep friendship blossomed between them. Eventually, her mother's promotion wrapped up, and they returned to the United States.
Over the next few years, Rina continued to train relentlessly, determined to forge her own path. Then came a life-changing moment: her mother had been scouted and offered a contract with LAW. Even more surprising, Rina had caught their attention too. Footage of her training sessions in Puerto Rico had made its way to LAW officials, earning her a spot in the Young Lioness Program. Though she'd be starting at the very bottom, it was a golden opportunity—and a chance to wrestle alongside her mother. Together, they moved closer to LAW’s facilities, ready to begin the next chapter of their journey
