On most occasions Aaliyah has a soft, almost timid expression on her face. Although her posture is usually perfect, her hands and eyes give away her nervousness. Often looking to the side or fidgeting with her gloves, if a match hasn't started.
Her body is toned, curvaceous and athletic. With most of the power and muscle focused in her legs, straining against her tights thanks to her time in gymnastics.
Backstory: Aaliyah ever since she was young was fascinated with art. Whether it was a show, a painting, a movie or novel she loved to see it. To watch in awe as artist after artist put their soul on display for the world to see. With stars in her eyes and hope in her heart, Aaliyah went about to find her own art, her own craft that would make her soul shine like a star. Writing, painting, drawing, even gymnastics, this bundle of creation as waltzed through life. But no matter what she tried, no matter how much she enjoyed the process, nothing ever fully clicked with her.
She didnt mind drawing, and she certainly didn't dislike writing, but no matter how nuch she practiced and explored those crafts, they still felt off. As if she's trying to force in a puzzle piece where it doesn't belong. Gymnastics was close, but still it didnt capture the story she wished to tell, it ker her move ger hody, making it her brush and her performance her art, but no matter how much she painted the canvas, no matter how beatiful it came out, to her, it just felt like something was missing. Some soark, or pizzazz that she couldnt bring out of that piece. But one day, when her parents got a call from her big cousin, everything changed. They were sent tickets to some event in the US, some wrestling show she cant quite remember the name of. But what she did remember was the feeling she had when she watched Reina fight. Counters, reversals, submissions, flawless technique and boundless pride. The rosr of the crowd, the shining lights and the sgeer ekectricity in the air left Aaliyah slack jawed and her voice hoarse as she watched in awe as Reina become a champion. Watching her cousin, her sister, become the conqueror. And its from here that the final piece of the puzzle fell into place. And when Reina made her arrival into LAW, that only solidified her choice. So, after getting some training under her belt, Aaliyah has made her way to LAW as a young lioness. Ready to let her art, her skill in the ring shine for the world to see.
Personality: Outside of the ring, Aaliyah is kind, timid and soft spoken person. Often putting down her accomplishments as nothing major and not really worth all that much attention. To herself, she's nothing more than a novice trying to match to learn from those above her.
However, when she gets in between those rooes, Aaliyah dons the mask of the prodigy. Exuding confidence with every fiber of her being Aaliyah acts as if she's next big thing. Emulating her big cousin with evedy boast and tease, showing a sense of pride and almost arrogance as she falls into her role.
Wrestling style: Aaliyah is a high flying technician. Often using the strength in her legs to take flight, Aaliyah will soar across the ring wherever and whenever she can to keep her opponent on the back foot. But just as well, thanks to Reina she's found a love for technical work. Viewing every grapple and counter as a game of chess.
