Fighting Style: Sheila is a high-flyer, and much of her offensive is built around using the ropes to build momentum and altitude to make her moves land even harder. In addition to this (or perhaps because of it), she takes a lot of risks and isn’t afraid to put herself in danger, with a reckless devil-may-care attitude; she doesn’t shy away from moves that pose just as big a risk to herself as her opponent. Rather than carefully considering her options and determining the best approach, Sheila would rather throw herself blindly into danger and hope it works out, and that she can at least salvage it if things go wrong. She doesn’t make plans, instead rolling with things on the fly. While this can make for poor strategy and get her into trouble, it also means she’s hard-headed enough to go for moves others might consider too risky, and if she’s lucky this can yield favorable results. Aside from that, she uses a lot of strikes, including headbutts, and goes at a fast pace to keep her opponents adjusting to her unpredictable moves and to keep up the momentum.
Finisher(s):
Death Adder
A diving neckbreaker.
Likes: The outdoors, animals. trampolines.
Dislikes: The cold.
Personality: Sheila grew up on a farm in rural Australia as the middle child of five siblings. Owing to a combination of being in the middle of nowhere, and her family having enough people to take care of chores, she had a lot of free time on her hands and had to make her own fun. Much of her youth was spent playing outside in the rivers, plains, and rainforests around her home, and although her parents warned her about the dangers of this, it never really stopped her.
When she came inside, though, she spent a lot of time watching TV. Her family only had an old set that still had rabbit ears, and it only got a few channels, but one of the channels she did get broadcast wrestling, and Sheila was taken to it from an early age. She spent many evenings in front of the TV with her brothers and sisters, eager to cheer on their favorite competitors or just witness some spectacular displays of athleticism and violence.
As they grew older, Sheila’s brothers realized that it was unlikely any big wrestling leagues (or any leagues at all, really, considering they were so far from civilization) would come their way. If they wanted to live out the same action in person that they saw on TV, they would need to take matters into their own hands, and they formed a backyard wrestling league with a few other kids their age who lived nearby. None of them had any training other than what they saw on TV, but they still had a good time, and even managed to record a few shows on the internet that got a modest number of views.
Sheila, of course, was eager to join in the action herself, and while the others were hesitant at first because they didn’t have any other girls willing to participate, they warmed up to the idea. Sheila had gotten in a fair few scuffles with her siblings before, so it was hardly anything new for her, and she didn’t see any reason to object to having matches with boys; a good fight was a good fight no matter what! Eventually, her participation gave her sisters and a few other local girls the precedent to join in, and they had an impromptu womens’ division. It was there that Sheila formed the basis of her wrestling knowledge, which would carry her further into her career.
Their league was forced to disband as they grew up and finished high school, and more and more of their talent had to go on to college. Since the Chiharas lived in such a small town, they were forced to move away to seek education elsewhere, and by the time she became next in line to run the “promotion” Sheila simply couldn’t handle the responsibility. For a while, it seemed like she was forced to - horror of horrors - find a real job and start thinking about her future!
Luckily, she wouldn’t need to worry about that. When she was visiting her family in Japan, Sheila discovered the local wrestling programs, including LAW. When she did more research into the promotion, she also discovered they were taking applications for their Young Lioness program. Jumping at what she saw as the perfect chance, she decided she was going to return to her childhood passion and let it shape her future. She’s still learning the ropes, but she has the will to go far.
History: Sheila is an optimistic, energetic girl with a happy-go-lucky outlook on life, rarely letting anything keep her down for long. She’s cheerful and upbeat, and she never seems to get tired, much to the annoyance of some people around her. She also, quite frankly, has the intelligence of a fence post. She’s oblivious and naive to a lot of things, owing to her parochial upbringing, and she can be quite gullible and childish at times. But she makes up for it with her willpower and stubborn determination, and she won’t let anything get in the way of her goals. Sheila can also be quite wild, aggressive, and unpredictable, somewhat like a wild animal, but she means well in the end and she has a good heart, even if she doesn’t always know how to best show it.
Relationships
Meiyun Lai (Roommate): Mei and Sheila have been close friends ever since meeting and becoming roommates early in their time in the Young Lioness program. They're both very encouraging of each other and frequently train together.
Sakura Tanahashi (Friend): Sakura and Sheila met on Sakura's first day of wrestling class. Since then, the two have been close friends who get into all sorts of trouble together, both enabling each other's dumbest tendancies. It's a normal occurence to see them having rough and messy playfights in the dorms, or doing crazy, dangerous things for the heck of it.

-Sheila’s father is Japanese and her mother is Aboriginal Australian.
-On her first visit to Japan, Sheila was very confused about the seasons being different compared to in the Southern Hemisphere. She still hasn’t fully adapted.
-She has no reservations about lounging around naked or in her underwear, even at the LAW dormitories, due to the warm climate she’s used to; in fact, she’s more confused why other people have a problem with this. As such, she doesn’t really get embarrassed.
-On a similar note, her perception of temperature is rather skewed.
-Sheila has been noted to bear a surprising resemblance to GASTER. She finds this comparison annoying, though she is impressed with Clara's wrestling talent.
