Rika is a tomboy, which means she is quite outspoken, brash and not girly in the slightest, and can be prone to violence.
She is really good at competing in karate as she won plenty of karate tournaments. However this caused all the guys to see her as one of their own. While the girls considered her an dumb brute as she was determined to show she was indeed a sexy woman.
Past/History:
Rika grew up an happy child, and became known among the community as a bit of a tomboy. Not helped by her father who taught karate at the local dojo teaching her as she went on to win multiple tournaments as she grew up.
However because she acted like one of the boys as she grew older it would backfire. Since it would not bother her much when she was a kid. However as she went through puberty ,and started to turn from a child into a woman it became one.
As while her fellow girls would start to get jealous of her good looks. The boys in town on the other hand kept treating her as one of their own. Not really seeing her for the beauty she was. Not really helped by how she dressed outside of school. However, only someone who was blind would not have noticed how good looking she was.
Sadly for the redhead the majority of the male population around her age was blind. While the girls despised her for her good looks. It became so bad that during the yearly school festival someone would say she looked like a boy. With most of the school following suit as the redhead got enraged.
The fight that followed made the news as she swore that she would be seen as a girl. And hot one at that as she fled town. Earning money by competing in tournaments and fighting underground fight clubs if she needed money quickly.
It was during one of those underground fights that she was approached by a scout from LAW. As at first she wanted nothing to do with what she assumed was fake fighting. However after seeing some matches herself, and how nobody would be able to deny she was a girl if she competed, Rika would sign on the dotted line for an developmental deal as she was send to the young lioness division
