SHORT SUMMARY

Disclaimer: This is mostly a model of her vibes, themes and traits than how matches have to go for her.
Yeah... May have been a little too invested into the ring style with a YL lol. Oh well for now.

Goldstar stands at the cusp of infinite benevolence meets love for puroresu and heroism. She wishes to capture the hearts and minds of all, soak in that warmth and inspire. To do that, she’ll be constantly sure to show her endless passion for all aspects of pro wrestling as a whole. And thus, she is a natural high-flyer. Agile—clever, kicky, but still learning as a Young Lioness. She can be too overzealous in trying to grab at this warmth, too emotional where it's like she has paper armour, selling every jab, quip and cheap-shot like hearing pure heresy. The only thing weaker is her stomach—the window that she figures is the most beautiful aspect of her person—a smashable prime target to make her drool all over herself. When it comes to show-stopping joshi matches with a heart of gold, let her entertain you!

ACT 1

Always an eager one in the opening act. She gets to put in a tremendous effort to get everyone buying in and sliding off their seats. She gets to know the opponent well enough as they put their sweaty mitts all over the Golden Avatar, yum! To start, her movements are matrix-like, fluid, casual and joyful. Typically she’ll ask you a good question when she takes a breath: “SO, what got ya into wrestlin?” with the enthusiasm of a friendship offer. “AW, REALLY?! That’s amazing!!” if you’re a nice bean, then “Ohhh… Oh.” With the flop of her ears and queasy feeling, frowning with a wounded look to her eye.

She may be chatty, but it comes with constant flowing action—an opening AGILE burst of running leg lariats, using back-kicks to make distance, pairing with a second, flashier kick. As a feline friend—she loves, loves, LOVES to zoom from side to side. Does she EVEN get tired? (yes…) "NNNNOPE!" With a catch of a smile, she’ll run till her legs are whittled to stub. Gold IS a softer metal, so she knows to protect herself very carefully to avoid being dazed by a meagre knock on the dome, being slammed from an unexpected grab—OR WORSE… ( Eating one in the belly ) "GETTING CHEAP SHOTTED! ITSSS HERESSY!! >_<" SO, while dodging your fists, undoing your arm-wringer with a graceful roll underneath, taking your back and popping up onto your shoulders, becoming an animated tesseract in motion. “Now I know who ‘am dealing with, it’s nice to meetcha!” Before droppin’ them with the

Then when they get down, she’ll pop to her feet with a classic kip-up, sit on her lovely opponent’s shoulders and apply a little squeeze to their face and neck courtesy of her firm legs. “Is that a blush I see??” Would be something she’d say, reaching over and grabbing ur face, giving those cheeks a few pinches, a nose a few boops and a few strokes on your scalp. THOUGH! For someone who is a little more difficult, she may just cover your mouth, squeeze a bit more, then maybe pinch your nose too. Goldstar has a small habit of doing minor trolls and is quite handsy, but also a little affectionate to the super-sweet rivals. "A little kiss to commend your effort never hurt anyone, ya? Everyone wants to smooch a superheroine! . . Please? Just one?" ( Some may say no… ) "Aaaaw, but—can I blow them one?!" ( Yes. ) "Perfect!!! MWAH to you, reader."

It’s all about fast-paced dominance for the opening minutes. Showing her control. She wants a message to the crowd that she’s competitive, ring-smart and not here just to smile and wave. At the same time, being this way helps her learn where to put her bets on winning. Something critical when sheeeee’lllll—KONK! Gets ya right in the dome with a counter and sudden Enzuigiri. We’ve said our hellos, had a few laughs and caught a few smiles, so now it’s onto the wrestling.

ACT 2

Now we’re onto the real gamma rays. It’s knee strikes time! Step-up knees directly on the dome! Goldstar focuses on keeping up a real supply chain of inducing dizziness to better set up her close-range graps, from Russian leg sweeps, Indian Deathlocks, and ALWAYS sprucing up her arsenal with a new sequence or submission they have never seen before. Then, of course, comes the strategy.

It’s allllll about taking it up two notches. What was thought to be her ZOOM-ZOOM-ZOOM before was nothing you’ve seen yet. The girl can JUMP and bring down an axe handle. She can POUNCE from all fours and make it feel like a running spear. She has a reflex of a genuine feline that has a creative way of wrapping you up in some creative and classic holds as she learns them. From her crossbody sleepers, to a jumping triangle choke off a springboard, making sure you go SPLAT. Takedowns, takedowns, takedowns. She wants to drag you into deep waters and try to emulate Khabib Nurmagomedov. Of course, she’s not nearly as good as the goat, but that’s the whole point of wrestling. “I’ll just get better! Being so close to all my idols means one day, I can stand amongst them—then I’ll make my own little cottage where I’m unique and just a tiiiiiny bit better in a couple ways.”

Some eye candy can always be provided along the way, her favourite being a seated headscissor to rest up, but also spies the hardcam and hits it with a lounged back, almost sultry pose with her arching back. Of course, reverting back to her catty smile and beaming self, double-hand-waving to all those at home.

Then when she takes the ropes, her stance is add a little somethin’. Corkscrews are just LARPing the world’s rotation, so it’s only natural for a bit of OOMPH that she’d also add some slingshots to them. Body presses, moonsaults and corner splashes before blowing a kiss to the crowd or a lovable pose before she takes another dive.

One of her favourites is standing above an opponent that’s staggered in the corner, then calling out to the crowd to clap along as her knuckles ping off their face and her white sleeves get a little red. She’ll be sure to kiss any cut she opens up, if not to punch the exact same place right after. “Colour is the sign that we’re doing our best, so let's get more of it!” — annnnnnnnnnnd when she’s finished, she’ll leap from a rope, flip and CRRRRACK you on the head with an axe-kick right on the top.

This would naturally progress the match to its 3rd act. But, she knows there is bound to be back and forth. Unfortunately, her pliable form is optimal for being put on display, being thrown, stretched and bent. Goldstar invested a lot into making her avatar physically nimble and the result is that she’s like water. When bonked, the pain is often… “Errr…— it’s m-motivating! Hehe~” crushing. She may wobble on unsteady legs, fall on her face after a defiant march and supply many bobble-head moments from fists, kicks, elbows, knees, palm-strikes or slaps. If she’s able to dodge, then she’ll always add a little blown kiss either to her opponent, the camera, the fans or even a little bolder peck on the cheek to let them know.. “Maybe next time~”

Almost like a signature ( Mwehehe~ ) she’ll try to end off this section of the match with a good yell of ferocity, perhaps after being beaten down, perhaps with a good run-up, but always ending at the same beat of a Whirling Candy, her personal favourite move that she wished that would fell even CHAMPIONS! But alas, her heart will survive this minor crack when it gets only a two-count. ONE DAY.

ACT 3

Now is a special time. “They have to remember the finish! I’ll make it glitter lime 20 karat gold! It needs its diamond ring and fit the crowd’s fingers so they can marry it!” And that is by embracing some harder avenues. If she chose a limb by this point, then THIS is where she’ll double down and start trying to finish with submissions at every point. There’s more pinfall attempts, more hits directly to the face, more spikes and cradle drivers, trying to win at every nook and cranny. She gives her jumps the maximum height and any bruise she accrued is painfully suppressed just to deliver the biggest of splashes. Her striking game also reaches the zenith of showy and powerful, throwing in a pele and superkick before rushing for another pinfall attempt.

There are NO cheap endings for Goldstar. No fizzly roll-ups. No second chances. She wants it clean, by knockout, tap-out or pinfall. For all her moves thus far, it's a fight for your life with no turning back. Whether it’s blood, a tear in clothing or fighting through achy joints and a pulled muscle. PUSH — she’ll say. “They deserve my everything!” Would be her belief. And to the maximum of what her body will allow, she’ll keep getting up. And even then, try.

The crowd is uniquely centre stage in this. When she falls, it is the people’s voices, stomps, cheers and chants that fuel the comeback. It is them that can make her rise when she deserves it, but also make her wilt when she has earned her loss by their silence. Whether those cheers are for her or for her lovely opponent, she’ll respond with a badgering zeal to keep the action going. She’ll bite her tongue, hollar and cry out, leak golden tears and sweat beads. She’ll rise like a puppet being lifted by strings, crawl for the ropes even when it’s hopeless, shake her head defiantly when caught in tearing holds and keep commanding herself to kickout.

Whether that works… Is anyone’s guess. In sudden emergency situations, she has the
, a carryover neckbreaker driver variation that works for a fluid knockout to save her bacon or when she’s too exhausted to finish it by her optimal means. No doubt one of her crudest moves and learned intentionally for the tonal shift. If by submission, then her poison of choice is a Koji Clutch from ANYWHERE she can snap one in from a hopping dodge, to a sprawl on the mats, to high in the skies to a tilt-a-whirl. It’s coined the Cuddle Clutch.

But when it's time to use her Gilded Comet, she’ll ascend the ropes one last time, strike her pose, then leap for a corkscrew shooting star press. When paired with a slingshot and springboard, this is FURTHER augmented to have two overall flips. The Double Gilded Comet! Her super-SUPER move.

Nevertheless, when you’re out, one of her favourite parts is using the pinfall she chose that’s juuuuust right for you. It could be humiliating from a boot rubbing into their cheek, sensual with a crawl up their body, lifting a leg along the way, to the commanding authority of a matchbook. Whatever it is, she loves-loves-loves to hold it in a little longer after the bell. Nothing fuels her spirits more than hearing the crowd count her victory and having their yells FILL the stadium with her name.

1… 2… 3!
( GOLD-STAR. GOLD-STAR. GOLD-STAR. GOLD-STAR. )

In-Ring Traits:
  1. CROWD-FUELLED: She is, in some ways, living and dying by them. Given her heightened emotionality, their real-time support has a huge effect on her person just like their apathy does. She lives and breathes for them, wants them proud and will do anything to make them happy. Naturally, this suits her comeback game, staying in the fight, and being almost idol-like. Its drawbacks are self-explanatory. Having them disappointed in her will make her greatly upset and sob, their boos will make her ears drop and she’ll feel littler by the millisecond when they’re not into the match or too hollowed by the beating she wore on her face. When they don’t believe or hope for her comeback, the star begins to lose cohesion.
  2. JUST A BIT OF TROLLIN: Some people can be difficult, say mean things that break her heart, her composure and send her packing for a hug from the nearest samaritan. This is often not possible in a match of course, even if she may try with either her mentor or front-row crowd member—SO, naturally, she exploits her opportunities by having some fun at their expense. This could mean anything from tying them in rest holds just to talk to them, pet their heads in her chokeholds or give them a little elbow in the ribs and a “AH! Where you saying something?? Aww—I’m sorry… Wanna try again?” Then ( WHAM! ) comes another. This can also be affectionate, with a good hug, a well-placed fake-out with a handshake or a smooth kiss.
  3. HONOUR AND POSITIVITY TO THE MAX: She CANNOT be rude or show her anger and when she feels these nasty things, she vents it by raw COMPLIMENTS! The more angry she gets, the nicer she becomes, the more thoughtful she’ll throw something sweet back. Never-ever-EVER will she lean on being dishonourable or resort to heresy of punting some evil cunt in the legs. She will—however—Punch, punch, and PUNCH their face till it looks like a squashed tomato. Because beyond the looks, the poses, the kindness and the fact she’s a slight crybaby, she has absolutely zero qualms about violence itself and has an almost surgical thermometer that tells her how far she can push it. “With a smile of course!” Yes… With a smile of course.
  4. FOOL ME ONCE, SHAME ON YOU, FOOL ME TWICE…HECK: Goldstar is a believer of people. A benevolent Samaritan and neighbourhood heroine 24/7! She’s a truster—a pleaser—a friend-seeker and makes sure she’s making allies and good mates with all the talented fellows. It means she stays late to help the ring, helps set it up and gets an extra hour in. But—it also means she’s a faith-first and scrutiny later. She’s easily distractible from what she’d normally call heresy. Her heart squeezes when her strings are tugged on. LOOK OVER THERE— “ON IT!!” And you get the picture. “Woww! Look at all them! So many sexy faces I can’t—” ( bonk ) there’s your opening.
Sequences:
  1. Running Up Corner to Flip Over Opponent → Frankensteiner → Roll-over → Headscissor
  2. Sliding between the legs to Apron → Slingshot Tornado DDT (Using her leg to facelock) → Hair Flip Taunt
  3. Crossbody Sleeperhold (Like a Horizontal Backpack Sleeper) → Crucifix Driver (Optional Pinfall Attempt) → Grounded Octopus Stretch
  4. Upkick Counter → Victory Roll → Basement Dropkick to the face.
  5. Matchbook Pin → Schoolgirl Pin → La Magistral → Crucifix Pin
  6. Backflip Counter → Wristlock → Arm Snap → Jumping Solebutt Kick
  7. Repeated slow get-ups with the crowd stomping/clapping/chanting/cheering.

Signatures:

  1. Smiling Quasar: WHIRLING CANDY by Mizuki
  2. Virtuous Strike!: Springboard/Step-up Axekick
  3. Snapgold: Counter and Enzuigiri to the DOME
  4. The Solar Storm: Corner Strikes while standing on the middle rope with crowdfare
  5. Golden Splashes: Running Corner Splashes with crowd fare → When they fall seated, she'll do a lap and HIP ATTACK before rubbing her cheeks into their face before marching to centre ring and pose.

Finishers:

  1. The Golden Hour: Koji Clutch
  2. The Superflare: Test Drive / Rolling Cutter Driver ( EXTRA: She’ll keep the grip on your head to then transition into a straddle, cranking the neck with fire and fury to gain submission. This one she just coins The Gamma Rays! )
  3. Gilded Comet: Corkscrew Shooting Star Press

Super-Finisher:

  1. The DOUBLE Gilded Comet: Slingshot Springboard into Double Corkscrew Shooting Star Press
