Ashlyn comes off as more serious than she actually is due to her naturally stoic and unexpressive face. In truth, she is a driven, combative, curious, intense, and ultimately eccentric individual. Because of the intense trauma that has followed her throughout her life, she has simply developed a thick skin. She enjoys fighting, improving herself, trying out new things, and giving her best while doing so. Because of her macabre experiences and unique viewpoint, she tends to see herself as a bit of an outlier no matter what group she is currently a part of, and her sense of humor can come off twisted, cruel, and eclectic at times. She is, despite all appearances, conscious of the fact that others may look down upon her for being a hermaphrodite, and does her best to hide it... at least for now. A part of her she is currently ashamed of is her sadistic streak. She enjoys watching the twisted face of her opponents and hearing their laments... but she tells herself it's because its a sign she's winning, and hasn't really introspected further on the matter. She enjoys the symbolism of a phoenix rising from its ashes, and hopes to emulate this to turn into a new person.

Strategy: Being on the small side of things, Ashlyn knows to not try to use her weight to overpower others and instead focuses on her springy and toned muscles by using feats of athleticism, gymnastic, and aerial maneuverability to chip away at them before coming to blows, throwing them, or putting them into a submission hold. This is further enforced by a shocking degree of toughness which means she can handle quite a lot of punishment, making up for her lack of experience in defensive maneuvers. Thus, her strategy tends to be to outlast her opponents rather than to quickly take them down, though she has a decent repertoire of high flying moves, submissions, and strikes to fall back on.
Style: Ash's style can best be describe as "outlasting your opponent at any cost", using her insane stamina to keep going, getting back up, and toughing through submission holds until she finds an out to then return the favor in kind. She's the type to focus on strikes and hard-hitting moves before performing a few high risk throws to deal big damage and finish things off with a submission or pin, flying at every chance she gets to get the crowd going.

Despite that, with their uncompromising love, high expectations, equal support, and a healthy dose of having interests in common, Ashlyn warmed up to her three older sisters and her new father and mother, whom gave her their patience. "If it's easier for you, you can just call me Shirley" were the first words spoken by the person she called mom. Her new father, Michael, was a gym instructor by profession, and was more than happy to whip the diminutive, starved, girl back into shape. To this day, Ashlyn still sees her abs as a gift from him.
Thanks to this loving environment and a desire to make something out of herself, Ashlyn developed a passion for gymnastics, parkour, and—later—boxing. This took her to the realms of Summit TK, a boxing league in which she managed to make a name for herself in her late teens and early adulthood, holding the position of reigning champ for two years before she was eventually approached by the F3 Mixed Martial Arts association. They promised variety, challenge, and money. Eager to return the favor to the Gaels whom had been so caring, she happily accepted, and this took her across the world and changed her lifestyle for the better even further. Of course, like all big leagues, she ended up succumbing to the luxuries of wealth and fame; sex, drugs, alcohol and debauchery were always in the menu, provided she didn't spend so much she couldn't afford to assist her family, this paradoxically just bringing further motivation and ensuring that after a single year she was champion; a role she maintained successfully in her weight division for three years.
Then tragedy struck. During a vacation she'd bought tickets for the whole Gael clan for, their plane got caught in a storm, smashed into a building, and the hull tore open, bringing her to plummet out to the streets below several floors down. Spending five months in a coma, she woke to learn that her family had died in the accident and that her fall had proven to save her from the explosion of the plane that shortly followed. Losing the only people who genuinely loved her scarred her mentally, and she became a hermit during that time, running off the funds she still had to survive and spending all her time exercising or watching different combat sports but categorically refusing to return to the public eye. She was grieving.
When she finally felt ready to return however; the scene had changed. F3's manager Moose Duward was clear; "You're no longer a household name, this isn't the WWE where you can just return out of the blue after vanishing for over a quarter decade and expect things to be the same; you'll have to start from scratch and prove you still have what it takes!" The name WWE, which she'd dismissed as one of those fun but silly pseudo-fighting wrestling shows she'd heard about, struck a chord and she decided to look into it. This brought her to learn about another organization; LAW, which seemed to—unlike other wrestling organizations—value their female and female seeming competitors beyond the silly title of "Diva", and pay them decently to booth. She did some research, a bit of studying and practicing, and when she felt ready it was decided; if she was going to start from scratch anew and put her trauma behind her; she might as well do it from the ground up and apply to a new organization, learn a new sport, climb to the top, and eventually make it as a champion there.
