Background:
Caroline Jenna Arthur was born on June 30th, 1978 to the duo of retired NASA cadets. Jacob and Maryanne Arthur were always fascinated and interested in the field of astronomy which got them motivated to pick up space exploration once they reached their young adulthood. Both met at space camp when they were 16 years old and they both hit it off from there marrying at 25 on Maryanne’s birthday. Maryanne and Jacob had to take a leave of absence from being astronauts when Maryanne found out she was pregnant at the age of 28. When their daughter was born into the world, Jacob continued his exploration career usually being gone for years due to being stationed out in the vast blackness while Maryanne quietly settled into motherhood. Jacob came back routinely, but was usually never there too much for his daughter’s childhood, but he always brought back something for his daughter’s space collection like a rusted piece of satellite or an asteroid sample which is where Caroline got her interest in exploration.
When Caroline got into high school, her father got too old for the job and retired to be with his family. Caroline was next to follow in her parents’ footsteps and went to space camp for a year. She also worked over at Cape Canaveral and became a robotics technician while also enrolling in college for astronomy. At the age of 25, Caroline was sent off into space for two years and the experience was unreal as she felt the freeing force of no gravity and was able to see the multiple planets. Caroline wasn’t too big on the food they had to eat and mostly just drank water, but it was well worth the reward of seeing the vast blackness of the glistening stars. Unfortunately, her father died during her time in space due to cardiac arrest and she was devastated upon hearing the news. Caroline went on two more space trips at 29 and 34, but it wasn’t the same since she couldn’t show her father the souvenirs she got. Her mother also died due to old age and it furthered her depression. Space didn’t feel free anymore, but she knew her parents went to go join each other in the stars above. Caroline retired at age 38 and stuck to a normal life.
Caroline took up boxing to help get her mind off the death of her parents and she found she was surprisingly good at it. Her friends were always hounding her for spars and she usually beat them within a few rounds. Caroline was encouraged to go pro and she took bookings at clubs as well as smaller promotions to start herself out. Caroline rose through the ranks until a big time promotion sought her out and signed her to a contract. Caroline suffered her first defeats in this promotion, but despite age getting to her, she started training harder for her fights. Her current record is 45 wins, 18 losses, 3 draws.
For her experience and wisdom, Caroline was offered a coaching position at LAW and she was on her way to Japan to help mold the next generation like her parents did for her.
Personality:
Caroline is wise for her age and it really shows that her enthusiasm never diminished with age. She is not as fast and agile as she once was, but boxing has molded her greatly and given her a new sense of purpose. Caroline is ambitious and excited hoping to find those that have the same interest in space exploration that she still hangs onto. Caroline will even regal friends and others with stories of her time out in the darkness of space and what planets look like up close. Caroline is a friendly soul with passion and she wants to share her teachings with the wrestling world wanting to prove you can learn something different every day from outside your comfort zone.
What Caroline Offers:
Caroline offers standard striking and countering training as well as sparring for those wanting to freshen up their skills. She’s very patient with those not experienced in boxing and willing to hold their hand as much as possible before they are comfortable. Caroline can probably coddle someone too much, but she doesn’t want potential students to fear getting hit or taking more real punches to the face. She will test them regularly and challenge them beyond their limits.
