Background:
As any child of a wealthy family would be raised, Usagi was born into the care of a businessman for a father and a fashion designer for a mother. Her father, Tenko, worked for a sugary drink making corporation that he was able to secure a stock in and soon enough became vice president after being presented as a master negotiator for better labels and better ingredients that led to a lot of international success giving the company a better image when it came to appealing to children. Her mother, Sasi, became a fashion designer with a business that worked with the celebrity scene around Hollywood. Sasi is also known to have made a few dresses that got worn on red carpet premieres as well as at award shows.
Usagi never had to worry about money and she was instantly a popular girl at her schools since everyone wanted to be around her. She had a private tutor and got nearly everything she ever wanted from jewelry, designer bookbags, purses, cars, and even free tickets to midnight showings of movies she was excited for. Usagi practiced the violin, trumpet, and piano daily becoming very skilled as her parents forced her to sharpen up her musical abilities four days a week even after school. Usagi was 13 when she started playing in a local orchestra and it seemed her career was fitted to be a musician. However, Usagi got bored and tired of all the dedication that went into something that involved music so she quit the orchestra at 16 which made her parents very annoyed.
However, Usagi wanted to be an actress which delighted her parents that she was still aiming high for her future so at 17, Usagi went to Los Angeles’s best acting school for two years and got her first gig at her father’s company promoting the drinks he made. Usagi landed several recurring roles in some of her favorite sitcom shows that she watched growing up, but backstage rumors stirred up that she was becoming a bit of a diva so she would get canned after only a few episodes each on the shows. Usagi also had bad acting skills as she seemed to only skim through her parts in scripts and barely put the effort in. She even came in to a taping drunk and security had to escort her out which led to her termination. At 19, Usagi was resentful of always getting fired and firmly believed she needed her big break.
Disaster struck when her family had to declare bankruptcy and her father lost his job due to low sells of his drinks. This put the family in debt and her mother told Usagi she wouldn’t be the only breadwinner which meant Usagi needed to find a new job. She tried arguing her way out of doing it, but her mother remained firm and made Usagi take up multiple job interviews a day. Usagi worked as a fast food worker which she quit cause she firmly believed it was beneath her, she worked as a carpet cleaner, but broke a scrubber which got her canned three months into it, and she worked as a teacher’s assistant at a middle school, but quit as she was always the target of bratty children harassing her. Usagi flipped through a newspaper one day looking for more job ads and found a referee position for an underground foxy boxing league. Usagi had never had interest in combat sports, but knew foxy boxing at least held more value in looking good rather than being good at fighting. She got hired a week later and refereed 17 fights before getting told she would be put into a fight as a fodder opponent.
Usagi was excited and bought a cute playboy bunny costume and a pair of teal boxing gloves fully expecting to be able to look good getting beaten up without getting seriously hurt. She got her ass kicked royally and her opponent screwed her up bad. The referee had to step in at the second round as Usagi laid beaten on the ropes and couldn’t continue. Usagi was taken to the hospital as she got a bad concussion and two horrible black eyes which worries her parents. However, Usagi wasn’t bitter about it and actually felt a secret adrenaline rush when it came to boxing. Sure, she wasn’t a fighter in the least, but being put there in that situation gave her lots of confidence and she wanted to take up boxing professionally. Usagi sought out a few coaches and her training began from 21-24 making her professional debut in the Staples Center on an undercard show. Usagi lost, but fared much better lasting all four rounds and only losing by unanimous decision. Her opponent also showed her respect and she got super excited about future fights. Usagi even rematched her debut opponent for her eighth fight winning by spilt decision and it served as her third win in her career.
Usagi’s record is 9 wins, 16 losses, and 1 draw so far. She’s won 4 knockouts and 5 spilt decisions. Usagi unfortunately has suffered 12 knockouts, 3 TKOs, and 1 unanimous decision loss which she became a bit of a sore loser about, but it motivated her to get better. Usagi even now has a celebrity ambassador role waiting for her in LAW and a position as a part-time boxing coach since LAW wants her to help freshen up the roster on their appearances to the crowd.
Personality:
Usagi started off as a valley girl and a spoiled brat that never worked a day in her life until her family went into debt when she was around 19. After her first boxing match, she started to chill out more and take life one day at a time releasing her spoiled ways. Usagi only plays up the bratty part for her matches and it spiked ratings for her matches. Outside the ring, she’s super friendly now and likes to tease a lot of her friends along with being a little flirty to new people. Usagi also dedicates herself a lot after her parents were very strict about her succeeding in life growing up so she values hard work and motivation not taking kindly to couch potatoes or people that don’t apply themselves or have no ambition or want to coast off their fame like she used to do.
What Usagi Offers:
Usagi uses her background in acting to help wrestlers understand how to have charisma and how to present themselves better. Usagi also teaches striking and footwork wanting anyone she teaches to know their strengths and how to get around weaknesses. She’s also big on particular formations when someone fights. Usagi will often be a punching bag for her students to find out if what she taught them is sinking in and that they get used to their new capabilities.
