Personality
As a manager, Endō will put his wrestlers into whatever situations he thinks will make the most money, with very little regard for their well-beings. In fact, he sees his wrestlers as mere tools for making money. Despite this, he takes care of his wrestlers just enough to make sure that they continue being useful to him---after all, a broken tool has no worth.
To his credit, however, Endō is quite good at reading people's potential as wrestlers. He can quickly ascertain that sort of role they would work well in and adjust accordingly. For instance, he was immediately able to tell that Húxiān would make a good heel and that Miria would make a good jobber.

Past/History
Not much is known about Endō's history. Some (correctly) speculate that he has ties to organized crime. While this is not known to the general public, Endō is involved in illegal gambling---more specifically, he uses his insider knowledge of LAW to inform his yakuza contacts on how to bet.
In the past, Endō was a manager in a different promotion and managed a deranged wrestler named Alexander (the same Alexander from Claire Thomas's backstory). Going even further back, Endō used to be a yakuza enforcer. Back then, his particularly brutal and effective performance resulted in him receiving the nickname "Dragon of Kabukicho".

Fun Facts
- Endō's first name, Ryūji, is written as 竜司. "竜" means "dragon" and "司" means "rule".
- Endō's nickname as a yakuza enforcer was "Dragon of Kabukicho". The "Dragon" part came from his name and the "Kabukicho" part came from the fact that he primarily operated in the Kabukicho district in Tokyo.
