Emaline vs Corey Sniper - Apex Qualifier

"Tch..." Emaline irritated clicked her tongue before she hastily pushed herself onto her feet. "Gah!" Only for a projectile to suddenly crash into her back, Corey's running dropkick caught the Viper completely off guard. She stumbled forwards and collapsed onto all fours. Shaking the dizziness out of her head, she again tried to recover. This time, she pivoted on one leg and spun around as she stood up. At the same time, she swung her leg out, attempting a pre-emptive roundhouse kick to catch the redhead in the midst of her attack.

Corey managed to land a dropkick on Emaline's back, and she fell on her own back. She would try to rise up as quickly as she could in order to capitalize on this, but it seemed that Emaline was able to get up as quickly as her before she threw a roundhouse kick at her way. Corey staggered backwards, avoiding the roundhouse kick, but due to this, she was unable to continue with her offense as she was forced to pull back, and now she was back to square one.

Although Emaline's roundhouse kick missed entirely, it successfully put a halt to Corey's advance and thus prevented her from resuming her assault. "Hmph." The aristocratic heel scoffed imperiously. "I must admit that you do indeed deserve some praise for possessing the wits to avoid blundering into my kick." She complimented her opponent in such a formal manner that it came off as pretentious. Moreover, she neglected to adopt any fighting posture and instead just stood straight with her hands behind her back. Should Corey approach too closely however, the Viper would suddenly strike via a swift thrust kick to the head.

Corey scowled at Emaline, certainly finding the pretentiousness in her tone annoying. Still, she needed to keep her guard up, stepping closer to her opponent so that she could do something. Somehow, Emaline was just standing there, not taking any stance with her hands on her back. It triggered all sorts of red flags inside Corey's head, already having enough experience with this sort of opponent back then in Wrestle Angel.

And sure enough, Emaline suddenly lashed out with a thrust kick to her head, and Corey tried to react to it. Still, with her still in the midst of recovery, she wasn't quick enough to actually dodge the attack entirely, and Emaline managed to graze at the side of Corey's head with her kick, which left her staggered and wincing. She still managed to retain her footing, though the grazing left her a bit dazed and disoriented.

Emaline simply smirked as she watched Corey cautiously inch closer before surprising her via a thrust kick. Even with her guard up, she failed to properly protect herself against the kick, sending her recoiling backwards in a dazed state. The Viper briskly capitalised on this opening. She dashed forwards and swung her leg at low angle, attempting to sweep the redhead off her feet. If successful, Emaline would swing back the leg she used for the sweep back towards Corey's abdomen for a brutal stomp.

Still wincing from having Emaline's foot grazing against the side of her head, Corey was unable to defend herself from her opponent's next attack, in which she went for a leg sweep, causing Corey to lose her footing and fall backwards. Not only that, Emaline capitalize on this that once Corey hit the mat with her back, she went for a stomp right into her abdomen!

"AAARGHHHH!!"

Corey screamed out, her eyes bulging as she took the brutal stomp from her vicious opponent. She then ended up coughing and wheezing, holding onto her stomach, unable to breathe. She was in such a worrying shape that Lily at the corner was getting worried, clutching the ropes. Still, she stopped herself from interfering, knowing best that she wasn't going to fight her sister's fight.

Emaline's smirk grew wider when she once again laid out Corey, rendering her a winded heap curling up into a ball on the ground. The pinkette nonchalantly punted the redhead onto her back. Then Emaline planted her palms onto a canvas and gracefully pushed herself onto her hands, performing a handstand. Using her hands, she positioned herself perpendicular to Corey's battered belly and hung there just long enough for her to realise her situation. The Viper pulled her knees up and fell forwards, executing a handstand knee drop.

Wheezing and gasping for air, Corey was in a tough spot right now after taking the brutal stomp right into her midsection. She groaned as she was punted by Emaline, and she was laid out on the mat, still vulnerable before her opponent, who then proceeded to perform a handstand. Realizing what her opponent was trying to pull here, Corey tried to muster her strength to roll away, but she was unable to do so before Emaline dropped down onto her, bringing herself knee first right onto her belly, hitting her with a handstand knee drop!

"OOOGHHHHHH!!!"

Meanwhile, Lily was looking worried now. Her expression alone indicated that she was tempted to jump in and save her younger sister, but she also knew that she couldn't exactly interfere and fight her sister's fight. She had to restrain herself, hoping that Corey could get up from this, though from the look of it, things had become much direr for the younger Sniper sister.

"~Mmm.~" Emaline hummed in a satisfied tone as she felt Corey's abdomen cave inwards from the knee drop. With the Viper still pressing her hands onto the floor, she thrust her legs off her opponent's body and executed a handspring. She landed deftly onto her feet and then brushed her hair. Glancing off to the side, she saw Lily's distraught face and softly smiled at her. "Your sister expresses concern for your well being." Emaline remarked aloud before she lazily placed her boot onto Corey's throat while maintaining eye-contact with her sister.

Corey was having trouble breathing thanks to all those attacks from Emaline. Then, she heard Emaline taunting her, saying something about her sister being worried for her. Of course, Lily was worried, and she had to muster most of her willpower to prevent herself from jumping in to save her sister. At the same time, Emaline had decided to plant her foot right at Corey's throat while keeping her eyes on Lily, and Corey knew this was an opportunity that she couldn't afford to let go.

"Ergghhh..." While Emaline was looking at her older sister, Corey would grab onto Emaline by her ankle, and with one rough yank, she would try to make her opponent lose her footing, hoping to make her fall down. She was still weakened from all the beatings that she had taken, but she was planning to continue targeting that leg if she managed to get Emaline onto the mat, preferably by locking her in some kind of leglock in order to turn the table on her.
