As was typical with her hated rival, Hayleigh let her seemingly endless arrogance get the better of her and had given Mariposa the opportunity to turn the tables. So when Hayleigh charged back towards her with the intent on folding her in half like a lawn chair, the sparkling butterfly would deftly leap into the air and dodge the charge entirely. Then using Hayleigh’s body against her to lock her in the ropes and trap her in a tarantula hold.

Which is what led her to now. Hanging upside down and bending her rivals body across the ropes Normally the luchadora wouldn’t be allowed to keep this hold for such a long period of time. But thanks to the anything goes stipulation, Mariposa could keep this locked in for as long as she was able to keep it up. Though the blood rushing to her head from being upside down for so long was beginning to get to her.

And that unfortunately resulted in her unknowingly loosening her limbs that were holding Hayleigh down. And as much as she tried to resist it, she could not hold onto her rival forever. And so was forced to let her go while she rolled off of the apron and onto the ground outside. But Mariposa wasn’t finished, for after shaking her head to clear out any dizziness, she would turn around and begin to use her agility or climb to the top of the turnbuckle. Hopefully Hayleigh would still be stunned from the tarantula to notice her. So that when she is ready she could leap off for a tornado DDT!

The back and forth situation that the match was becoming was a staple now for anyone that would know of Hayleigh and Mariposa’s long standing rivalry. No matter how the two of them were completely opposites in terms of character and ideals, it was undeniable that both of them were in similar terms when talking about fighting prowess. Yes, they favored different fighting styles, but it had always been like that for them: none of the two could surpass the other in a significant way. This situation of constant exchange made a real good show in the past and created their feud, and now it was part of LAW as well.

Hayleigh couldn’t wait to turn the tables and press on the offensive again. Forcing a break in Mariposa’s hold was a good start, so the blonde started getting on her feet while scanning with her eyes to find that elusive luchadora. It wasn’t meant to be as Mariposa was agile and had the advantage, and before Hayleigh could notice the luchadora had taken flight, executing a masterfully crafter tornado DDT that left Hayleigh slumping on the mat with a cry of surprise and pain. They could have been exchanging hits for some time, but that was the first real blow and statement for that match.

Finally! After a long start of little more than back and forth from the two hated rivals. Mariposa was finally able to land the first true strike of the match. Her momentum aiding her in spinning around as she drilled Hayleigh’s skull into the canvas with a tornado DDT! The luchadora would use the burn off of her momentum to roll back to her feet and survey the damage!

Unlike earlier. Hayleigh wasn’t immediately back to her feet after the attack. Content to lay on the canvas and hold her head in her hands in an attempt to soothe the pain. But that would take time, time the glittering butterfly was unwilling to allow as she would quickly grab her rival by her legs and drag her to the center of the ring. Once she felt they were far enough from another match saving ropes. Mariposa would get to work tying her legs up with Hayleigh’s, crossing over one another before finally falling back. Locking the figure four submission hold with full force!

It had been quite a while since Hayleigh had faced her bitter rival for the last time, but some things never change and those two wrestlers had achieved a level of mutual understanding of how the other worked that it was relatively easy for them to start planning ahead and making moves before the rival could even think of their next one. For them it was more about mindgamem, getting in the rival’s mind and knowing what she was going to do more than actually overpowering the other, because the two of them knew that wasn’t that easy since their skills were mostly on par.

And for that time it looked like Mariposa was inside Hayleigh’s mind, the luchadora being capable of getting her with some moves and in the end using her advantage to lock a figure four leglock. “Uuuuungh! Damn youu!”, exclaimed Hayleigh in a groan of sheer pain as her legs were suffering. The ropes were pretty far to force a rope break, and she knew pretty well that once the hold was locked she couldn’t break it by sheer strength, so that left no other option. Biting her lip to control the pain she was feeling, Hayleigh tried to buck the two of them to the sides in an attempt to break Mariposa’s balance so she could turn the tables and flip them over to reverse the move.

There was a reason why the figure four leg lock was one of the most feared submission holds in all of wrestling. It was simple in design, but when locked in properly. It puts a pressure on your opponent like you wouldn’t believe. Threatening to break the victims shin against their knee, or vice versa depending on how far a knee can bend in the opposite direction. And from the sounds Hayleigh was making, it was clear that she was feeling the agony of both right now.

Yet, for all its fear, all its status at being the go to hold for a quick submission. It had one singular flaw. If the victim ever managed to flip both themselves and the attacker onto their bellies. Then gravitate would turn against them and suddenly the agony would be thrust onto the one who locked in the hold in the first place. And with a quick rocking motion, that’s exactly what Hayleigh managed to do as Mariposa soon enough felt the pain she had felt.

”Agh! Ahhghh!!” She screamed as she tried to immediately untangle herself.
