Alizeh had made a miscalculation, a grave one. Assuming the damage she had done to Mindy was enough to keep thr woman down long enough for Alizeh to finish off with her aerial finisher. It was an honest mistake, but one that would seriously cost her right now.

Standing over thr Emerald Storm now was Mindy Midnight.. In all her delusional glory. Basking in the moment of Alizeh’s damaged, agonzied state. ”Gah… shut up…” Alizeh breathed out through gritted teeth, determined to not be beaten so easily… But unfortunately Mindy had too perfect a opportunity.

Forced up to her feet and with her head placed between her opponent’s thighs Alizeh would find her limbs grabbed and her body hauled upside down in a daunting position! ”No-“ Was all she could get out before Mindy dropped down, spiking Alizeh’s skull into the mat with a massive piledriver! ”Aghhhh!!!” Alizeh screamed out in pain, collapsing onto the mat, seemingly motionless!

Mindy jumped and fell back down with all of her might, not giving Alizeh any chance to beg for mercy or give her one final insult once the situation became clear. She dropped Alizeh on her head without a second thought and could feel her body crumble on impact as Alizeh screamed out one final time. It satisfied the villain enough that she almost stopped to monologue now that she knew her opponent was beaten, but that would waste time. Better to cut things short than drag them out and make a mistake later.

"It was a passing effort, shame I'm the best student. Anything short of perfect was never going to match me." Mindy said before she moved and rolled her opponent up, trapping her leg and holding the other one as she laid on top of Alizeh for the pin. She wasted no time and she expected the ref to do the same, make the pin and name her the victor.

Spiked into the mat with a massive impact there wasn’t really much Alizeh could do tonstop the descent or save herself in any way. All she could do was grit her teeth in determination and try to withstand thr impact. Laid out after the move had hit it was mere child’s play for Mindy to roll Alizeh over and go for the pin. One that the crowd gave a loud mixed response mostly comprised of boos, hardly anyone seeming tk want Mindy to win. But after landing such a move… surely itd be an inevitability.

Before the referee could finish the final three count however they, along with the rest of the crowd would be in for a monumental shock as Alizeh suddenly and dramatically thrusted her whole lower body in the air, breaking free of Mindy’s pin at the literal last second!

Mindy went for the pinfall with no doubt that victory was hers, she'd outplayed and bested Alizeh with one final move. She secured a pin and forced Alizeh to follow her and the ref was already down and ready for her when she was finished. She was convinced it was over until the very second that the pin was broken. She didn't know how Alizeh could do that, she looked out of it and while Mindy looked completely shocked the crowd cheered the fact that the match wasn't over. But Mindy refused to let her shock defeat her, she couldn't give Alizeh time to recover.

"I guess a good ryona doll knows how to stay awake during a beating." Mindy said before grabbing Alizeh's legs and standing up. Mindy was prepared to make this hurt by lifting her legs up and forcing Alizeh to follow before she would turn her over and place her knee on her neck, bending her in a Lion's tamer submission hold that Mindy sat lowered herself on to stretch and torture the Emerald Storm for thinking she still had a chance at winning.

Somehow, someway Alizeh had managed to kick out kf the pinfall from Mindy following her finishing move. Impressive as it was, as loud as the cheering was, Alizeh’s mind was focused on one thing. Survival. Not just winning, not just besting Mindy, but surviving to pay Mindy back for everything and then some.

Unfortunately Mindy wasn’t done. Knowing she had Alizeh on the ropes Mindy would grab Alizeh’s legs and step back, kneeling down on Alizeh’s neck for a painfil liontamer submission! ”Aghhhhhhhh!!!” Crying out in agony Alizeh eould thrash and struggle underneath Mindy, refusing to give into the actress as Alizeh tried to think of way out of the agonizing hold!

Mindy's submission was stretching Alizeh's back and trapping her head to give her head and neck something to to worry about while she cruelly pulled legs back to force Alizeh to bend every way she wouldn't want to go. Anything it took to win was fine in Mindy's eyes who was holding nothing back to see Alizeh fall. The only thing free was her arms, which she used to thrash around helplessly in Mindy's hold as Mindy tried not laugh at her attempts to escape.

"The Storm has been tamed Alizeh, complete it for us and give up." Mindy said. She tried to make the hold tighter to break Alizeh's spirit and get her to see sense and submit. Watching for the moment that Alizeh finally caved and tapped out, she was looking forward to that moment that she could claim victory in Apex and cement herself as the next champion, and she wasn't going to let Alizeh's stubbornness waste more of her time.

Crying out in agony from the agonizing Lion Tamer hold Alizeh would clench her fists tightly in determination, gritting her teeth as she fought her urge to tap, if for nothing else to spite Mindy. But the pain was massive, overwhelming even.. enough that everything seemed like it was going to go dark, and she may pass out…

No. She would never lose like that. Not so easily, not like this. ”No one…” Alizeh said, slamming both her hands into the mat with sheer determination in her eyes. ”Will ever…” As she spoke Alizeh pushed herself to the side, twisting her hips to not only get Mindy’s knee off of her while also turning herself around to glare up at Mindy. ”Tame me!” Alizeh roared out, seingjng her fist up once, twice, three times. As many as it took to make Mindy let go!

Mindy knew how much this move was hurting. It put the human body through such unbearable pain that she was sure Alizeh would be done, resting on her leg while her knee continued to squeeze on Alizeh's cranium while the Emerald Storm started to fade under her. Or so she thought, a loud slam of Alizeh's fists hitting the mat surprised Mindy who expected her to just fade in silence before Alizeh began twisting herself to try and slide her head out, a move that had to be killing her back and neck to do, and despite that she was still doing it to escape. Mindy tried to adjust and force her knee back on her, but it was too late and Alizeh quickly turned herself around and started to throw punches to force Mindy to back off.

"Ggah dammit." Mindy grunted falling away and letting go to avoid being punched. She shook off any concerns with the way she had to escape, there was no way Mindy could lose now that Alizeh was weakened. That piledriver and Liontamer drained her, Mindy just had to calm down and take action. She would try and go back at her, aiming a kick at her head to keep her from getting up.

Quite kiterally fighting for her life Alizeh had managed to force Mindy’s knee off her head while managing to force herself to turn over. From there Alizeh was able to lay into Mindy with some punches to make her let go and back off from her. Panting softly as she sat up Alizeh would glare up at a clearly angry Mindy, no doubt from Alizeh’s refusal to quit. Not that Alizeh cared. Not when she knew she could still win.

So when Mindy came back in, throwing her leg up to try and plant a kick into Alizeh’s head the green haired girl would reach up, managing to catch the woman’s leg before it could connect! ”Sorry Mindy… The Midnight hour is over.” Alizeh said as she pushed herself up to her feet with a glare at the woman before swinging her arm forward with an uppercut into Mindy’s stomach to knock the wind from her! If it worked than Alizeh would try and hook her arm over Mindy’s head before pulling back, swinging Mindy up and over her head to slam Mindy hard into the mat with a her signature move Verdant Break!

Mindy was fired up, rushing over to knock Alizeh back down and go for another finisher. The anger created a careless action, and Mindy soon found her leg being caught because she rushed it, and went for something too predictable to catch a desperate Alizeh. Mindy would try to pull her foot away and back up only for Alizeh to hold it and slam a punch into Mindy's belly.

"Gouuggh!" Mindy groaned, folding up. The punch hurt and from where she was she had no way to stand her ground and throw something back while still on one leg. Worse she felt her own head get wrapped up by the Emerald Storm to hold her in a Fisherman before she would suplex Mindy while she was still rolled up! "Aauuggh!" Mindy screamed. She fell on her head and Midnight could only see darkness afterwards, her leg lazily rolled down and fell as far as she could while Alizeh held her, with fans wondering if Mindy had anything left after her best shot failed.
