LAW Apex Match: Lyra Heartfield vs. Peggy McIntyre

[Pegasus]

Lyra tried getting away from Peggy, but the redhead stopped her in her tracks hitting a leg drop! Lyra bucked up and held her chest before Peggy pulled her head in with a headscissors hold. Lyra frailed her legs as the crowd gave a mixed reaction to Peggy taunting by flexing her biceps. Peggy sent down punches to the fortune teller to keep her steady and squeeze as hard as she could. Lyra gripped at Peggy’s legs and tries pulling them apart, but her airwaves stopped her as she sputtered for a chance at air. If she she didn’t act fast, this match would be over before it even got started!

Lyra had an idea and arched her back and lifted her body with her legs. She extended her body into an arch and made Peggy go back with both shoulders firmly on the mat. It was supposed to be an improvised attempt at a pinfall as the referee saw this and slammed her hand down counting “1!” This was much more a choice than an attempt at victory this early. Either Peggy releases the hold or she takes the pinfall loss.

As soon as the one count hit Peggy let out a cry of disappointment. "Oh come on!" Peggy shouted before sending one last punch to Lyra's face, letting go of the hold. Peggy got up to her feet and tried to grab hold of Lyra, looking to yank her up by the hair. "Come on blondie lets see how much ya like it when a curvy lass slams your ass!" Peggy shouted grabbing hold of Lyra and trying to scoop her up, spinning around in circles before slamming her down in the middle of the ring.

Lyra was successful in countering Peggy’s headscissors into a makeshift pin, but Peggy got the last word in punching Lyra’s face as she yelped and covered it. Peggy grabbed her by the blonde hair and yanked her up earning some groans from the fortune teller. The Irish lass picked up her opponent and taunted her about slamming her before spinning around. Lyra saw the world spinning before her and soon grew too dizzy to counter before Peggy stopped. Peggy bodyslammed Lyra as she sat up to grab her back and was at Peggy’s mercy for the meanwhile.

Peggy sent Lyra crashing to the mat and she wanted to keep up the pressure. The Irish grappler jumped up and extended her legs looking to come down with a big thick thighed leg drop onto Lyra while she was down! Peggy wouldn't just stop there though. She wanted to crash down on Lyra then clamp her legs around Lyra's head to crush the air out of her with a headscissor hold!

Lyra felt Peggy's weight crash down on top of her as this made her eyes go wide with shock as she coughed heavily, but Peggy wouldn't let things go to chance here. The Irish lass clamped both legs down around the neck again for a tight headscissors and Lyra had puffed cheeks trying to get in some air. However, this time, Peggy made sure to add in the extra squeeze to make sure Lyra could not counter it so easily. The referee dropped down tapping Lyra's right hand and asking if she wanted to submit, but Lyra couldn't even move her head to resist or forfeit. Her eyes weighed heavy on her and the referee raised her right arm ready to check for slack if she went out. There had to be a way out for the fortune teller, but the clock was ticking on her!

Peggy kept her legs clamped together hoping to get an easy win here against Lyra! "Just tap out already blondie! A skinny mini can't handle a lady with curves!" Peggy shouted as she kept squeezing away as hard as she could!

Lyra closed her eyes and seemed to be going out not wanting to end this match on a tap out. She had come too far to submit to Peggy and she wouldn’t start now. The referee checked the arm for slack and waved it a little bit which gave the crowd an indication that Lyra had just now passed out in the headscissors! If the arm dropped, the referee would call the match for Peggy. The referee raised Lyra’s arm and waited for it to drop on the mat, but Lyra hung it in mid-air as the crowd exploded with cheers! Lyra grabbed the legs of Peggy and mustered her strength to pull them apart!

Peggy was in total shock that Lyra wasn't passed out, and she was even further surprised as the smaller presumably weaker Lyra was prying her way out of the headscissor using only her arms against the power of Peggy's legs! "No way! HOW?! HOOOOOW!?" Peggy screamed before letting go. She tried to adjust quickly and pounce on Lyra, hoping to pin her to the mat and punch her a few times in the head. "You think you are tough? You think you can waltz in here and beat me?! I ain't gonna lose this, I can't lose this!" Peggy shouted as she tried to work over Lyra.

[Pegasus]

Lyra was released as she sucked in some air and turned on her stomach, but Peggy was relentless. The Irish wrestler grounded Lyra and got on top as she rained down punches on Lyra’s head causing Lyra to cover herself and Peggy talked down to her. Lyra fought out from under Peggy tossing her off to her side before getting up to attempt a Superkick right to the chin! She had been bullied since the beginning of the match so it was time for payback.

“Sorry, Peggy, but only one can claim the gold at the end here. I rather it be me. The universe can sense it,” Lyra stated.

If Peggy was down and getting back up, Lyra would try a move her girlfriend, Sanae, taught her. She wounded up her arms and went for a Spinning Backfist!

Peggy was shoved off Lyra and as she stepped back to close the gap she took a super kick to the jaw! Her head snapped back and the Irish grappler dropped down onto her back shaking her head and kicking the mat before she sat up. She shook her head and was trying to recover when things just kept spiraling out of control. The spinning backfist hit and Peggy dropped down with a moan of pain again, her arms cradling her head while she meekly kicked the mat in dazed pain.
