Bringing Cheryl face first to the mat with a running bulldog, Misaki took a look at her for a bit before she rose up, bringing the cheerleader back to her feet as well. From there, she would then start hoisting her up onto her shoulders, putting Cheryl's body over her shoulders, looking to put her into a fireman's carry.

Taking a bit of time to prepare herself, Misaki would then bring Cheryl to the center of the ring. Then, she would heave Cheryl's body off her shoulders before bringing her down onto the mat with a fireman's carry powerslam. From the great height, Misaki knew that the move would inflict quite a significant damage on the cheerleader.

Cheryl was forced to the mat, knocked down by Misaki once again without a chance to recover, it was a little embarrassing to be dropped on your face like that. She looked up and rubbed her face which felt like it was fully red from the slam into the mat, and quickly pulled up by Misaki who was on a roll and trying to make Cheryl suffer more. The sight of the cheerleader dangling in the air on Misaki's shoulder only added to her embarrassment, she couldn't let herself get her ass kicked in a match like this. She brought her hand up and tried to grab Misaki's shoulder while she walked them to the middle and would wiggle some more trying to break out and shake herself free from Misaki until she let her go.

Holding on to her opponent and preparing herself so that she would land on her feet instead while holding her down, Cheryl would try to pull the arm close before grabbing her shoulder and bringing her leg behind Misaki so she could pull back and drop her to the mat with an STO.

Misaki was prepared to send Cheryl down to the mat with a fireman's carry powerslam, but Cheryl somehow managed to wiggle herself free from her grasp, making it difficult for Misaki to send her down for the move. And then, the cheerleader managed to bring herself down to the mat onto her feet, and before Misaki could salvage this situation, she was sent down to the mat with an STO!

"UGHHH!!"

Misaki hit the mat, gritting her teeth. The table was abruptly turned in Cheryl's favor, and now, she was dazed from the STO, allowing Cheryl to continue with her momentum.

It felt good to knock Misaki down and get a chance to start fighting back. She didn't want her big moment to be one of her being ragdolled and jobbed out because Misaki outclassed her, and she wouldn't let Misaki leave this ring without thinking that she met the best wrestler in the world today. First things first Cheryl would try to pull Misaki up by her head so she could move in and take a knee beside, place Misaki behind her and pull her arm over her head while her legs would wrap around Misaki to keep her in place forcing her upper body to stretch as Cheryl leaned back and would pull down on Misaki's head while her arm was still stuck behind her.

Cheryl would hold this position to start working on Misaki's body and make her start to see what that despite being one of the punchers Cheryl was comfortable on the mat bending an opponent anyway that was necessary to see them reconsider their career choices. She didn't care how many moves she had to use she'd find one of them that would make even a pro like her give up.

Dazed from being brought down by Cheryl's STO, Misaki tried to regain her bearing, but the cheerleader wasn't going to give her the opportunity as she pulled Misaki up. Still reeling from being brought down, Misaki was then put into an abdominal stretch, and as her body was being stretched in the hold, Misaki let out a cry of pain as she tried her best to endure the hold.

"AAAHHHHH!!!"

Misaki closed her eyes tightly, trying to endure the hold as best as she could. All the while, she would wiggle her body, hoping that she could loosen the hold, but for now, she would remain in Cheryl's clutch, unable to break free. All she could hope for was to endure the hold as long as possible, outlasting it.

Cheryl had Misaki screaming in the submission the further back she could bend her. She was enduring and resisting to stop Cheryl from going further and Cheryl was fighting to make it harder on her. The struggle was the first one this match that was going her way and seeing Misaki struggle gave her motivation to keep trying, she had to go all out and prove herself to her. Cheryl would throw a punch to Misaki's side to tenderize it.

This wasn't going to make Misaki quit, Cheryl knew that and knew she had to try something different. She kicked her leg out and hooked it around Misaki before she would push her forward, getting her out of the hold but knocking her to the ground where Cheryl would try and take the leg she hooked and bend it back into a single leg boston crab.

Misaki used most of her willpower to withstand the abdominal stretch. She let out another cry of pain as she took a punch at her side by Cheryl. Still, she refused to submit, showing it to everyone what the Ace of Berserk was made of. Her willpower was something to be admired, and she wasn't going to let herself lose to this hold.

Seeing that Misaki wasn't submitting to her in this hold, Cheryl then tried another move in which she brought her down to the mat, chest first, and Misaki cried out as she hit the mat. And then, the cheerleader subjected her to a single-legged Boston crab, and Misaki closed her eyes tightly, enduring the pain as she cried out in pain some more.

"NNGHHH!! AAHHHH!!"

Still, Misaki refused to submit as she would start dragging herself towards the ropes. Her body was aching at this point, but she refused to surrender, not while she still could help it. She would force herself to move towards the ropes, hoping that she could reach the bottom rope in order to give herself a rope break.

Cheryl knew what she was doing on top, and still she was surprised that it was working. The fangirl in her couldn't believe she was at Apex putting the screws to Misaki Toyada herself and it was working! Cheryl was doing everything usual while her mind was a whirlwind of shocking thoughts and disbelief as Misaki screamed and struggled to get to the ropes in the single leg. She fought hard until eventually her hands were on the ropes to get a rope break, now that she could believe. Cheryl smirked in admiration for Misaki before letting the hold go and turning to face.

"That's our Misaki! Go! Go! Misaki!" Cheryl cheered now that she was free and stepped away to give her the room to get back up. "I've said that a bunch watching you wrestle on tv, I always thought you could hear me because you got right back and start kicking ass again." Cheryl said complimenting one of her idols before it would be time to lock up again, waiting to meet her in the middle rather than go on the attack when she was on the ropes.

Held in the single-legged Boston crab, Misaki dragged herself towards the ropes. Eventually, she finally reached the ropes, getting herself a rope break. Sighing in relief upon being released, Misaki would pull herself up with the ropes before she looked at Cheryl, who then made a cheerleader routine for her. She couldn't help but smile at that.

"Haha... I'm glad to hear that..." Misaki said as she would then step away from the ropes, readying herself to clash with Cheryl again. Despite the damage from Cheryl's move earlier, she was confident in her ability. Seeing that the cheerleader was ready to lock up with her again, Misaki would get into position before she lunged towards her, as if trying to lock up with her.

Only for her to duck and slip past the cheerleader, moving to her back. She would attempt to capture one of Cheryl's arm, planning to give it a twist at the wrist to subject her to a wrist lock. She had no doubt that the basic move would put the other woman under pressure as she held the cheerleader's hand while standing behind her.

Getting Misaki to smile was something else Cheryl could write down as an accomplishment for today. She was pulling off a few things that she never thought she'd get to do, and still had something available that was on her mind in beating Misaki here and now. She was focused again when they locked up, trying to force her back when Misaki instead slipped out of the way and would get behind her to grab an isolate her arm before twisting it into a wrist lock.

"Eek!" Cheryl gasped. Pain quickly set in once her arm was twisted, forcing Cheryl on her toes as she tried to adjust to a position where the lock hurt less. She had to move, and she had to get Misaki so that she wasn't behind her. Cheryl would try to turn herself around as much as she could before trying to rotate and spin to free up her wrist, if she pulled that off she would try to grab Misaki's hand with both hands and pull on it to attempt to bring it down for a cross face.
