LAW Apex Match: Tina 'Tigress' Armstrong vs. Kathleen Hendricks - Steel Cage Match

Each strike brought the two closer to a collapse, yet they were too stubborn to do it. Smacks and cracks echoed through the arena as they slammed against each other, hoping that the other would fall. Nothing was being held back. Kathleen had hoped that her elbows to the skull were enough to make Tina falter, but instead, the Tigress managed to fight off the urge to fall, and even twisted around suddenly. "GRUH!" the Queen yowled, as that kick nailed her on the side of the head, similar to that of the Stardust Kick she took matches before.

Yet this one didn't fall Kathleen. Her vision blurred and her muscles felt weighed down by water, desperate for temporary relief, but the QoD refused to give the advantage to her rival. But her body couldn't keep up for long, and thus Kathleen charged in, swinging an arm to slam against the chest and throat of Tina's for a hard lariat, the force of which put behind it making her body finally meeting the mat with a thud. All she could hope was that she took down the Tigress with her.

Tina saw Kathleen coming and she let out a scream, stepping into the oncoming lariat while extending her own arm looking to smash into Kathleen as hard as she could! The two met in the center of the ring, absolutely crushing one another! Tina knew she made a solid connection... but so did Kathleen! "ARGH!" Tina howled as she gave out, her body crashing hard to the canvas as she was laid out by the clothesline.... she was in a lot of pain and struggling to recover hoping that the impact had the same effect on Kathleen as well. Tina knew it had to have hurt both as both seemed hell bent on destroying one another for a chance at that Openweight Championship.

Both arms slammed against each other's bodies, both with momentum behind them, and both ended up finally falling, crashing to the mat, and bringing an end to the first battle of the match. But the war was far from over; it was only just beginning. The double down allowed the two a chance to recover and catch their breaths, to try and let the pain cool down and leave their bodies, or at least turn to a more tolerable ache. Kathleen herself had a stabbing pain in her head thanks to that roundhouse and uppercut, but thankfully, that didn't stop the rest of her body from beginning to move.

Getting to her hands and knees, she glared at Tina, who seemed to be having some struggle recovering, and knew she couldn't allow her pain to slow her down. Rushing up to her feet, a hand gripped Tina's hair, while the other got a handful of her tights, lifting her up to a kneeling position. Then, suddenly charging forward, the Queen ran forward, bringing Tina with her, and then thrusting her arms forward at just the right time to slam her opponent's face against the harsh steel cage like a battering ram!

It was time to introduce the cage into this match, and Kathleen was doing it in the most brutal way she could!

Tina was disappointed in herself as she felt Kathleen grab her, the tigress unable to recover as quickly as Kathleen who seemed to be surging back to her feet. Tian was grabbed and brought forward, her head smashing hard off the cage! "AAAAHHHHHHHH!" Tina howled as she crashed into the cage before falling down to the mat, thrashing about as her arms cradled her head in agony. Tina was down on the mat and already things seemed to be going downhill. Tina used to pride herself on being tough.... how was this sneak attack specialist back to her feet so much more quickly than Tina? How did she handle Tina's strongest strikes so easily? These thoughts were going through Tina's mind as she was reeling, trying to at least sit up.

Kathleen was putting all she could into this match. Sure, she may have used nefarious tactics to win some of her matches, but a sneak attack specialist? It would've offended the Queen's ears to hear such a remark. But, even if it were true, then just what would that make Tina, who was writhing and rolling around on the ground in agony, if such a dirty and unskilled cheater was able to outclass her?

Still, Kathleen didn't press her advantage just yet, using the time to catch her breath and wipe her brow of sweat. That striking bout did take energy out of the Queen, and rushing to her feet make her muscles ache and that shooting pain in her head increase. She had to wait for those discomforts to ease up before going in on the attack again, merely watching Tina writhe on the ground.

Eventually, Tina began to sat up, and that's when Kathleen moved back in. As the Tigress began to lift her body up, the Queen would meet her, thrusting her boot to slam against the face of her opponent and force her back down onto the mat. "Are you seeing now? How truly pathetic you are?!" Kathleen snarled, reaching down to grab onto the hair of Tina and force her up off the ground, just to shove her face against the steel cage once more, but this time making sure to grind her features against the harsh steel!

"Ugh...." tina groaned as she was kicked and sent back to the mat before being yanked up to her feet and dragged around. Tina saw the cage coming, trying to get her hands up to block her her face smashed into the steel again! She bit her lip a bit, with a tiny bit of red visible and then howled in pain as she was raked along the cage face-first!

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Tina screamed was she reached out to grab the cage, trying desperately to push back to get her head off of the steel to prevent it from being raked any worse and to prevent the already lightly bleeding tigress from bleeding any further! Tina was in too much agony to feel much embarrassment now, instead she was filled with anger and pain trying to push back against Kathleen who was starting to dominate the start after the strike exchange.

The cage was a fitting structure for the Queen. It allowed her to truly be cruel versus her opponents, and make sure that they know just how dominant she can be. The steel was designed to keep the two inside, locked up so that there was no escape, but Kathleen saw it as a tool to brutalize. Tina's howls only justified it, as her face was ground against the cell, seeing a speck of blood and trying to entice more. Fans could see how the Tigress's face was being raked across the steel, and try as she might, Kathleen kept up the assault.

Eventually, Tina's attempts to get away from the cage were allowed, Kathleen yanking her back by her hair, just to run backwards, and attempt to bash the back of the Tigress's head off the opposite cage wall! The cage was becoming her domain, a four-sided torture machine, and the Queen would use it, would grind Tina through it until there was nothing left than a sad, pathetic girl if it meant winning the Openweight Championship--or if she just wanted to break the spirit of the former champion for good.

Tina felt herself free but Kathleen still had control of her as they were running hard the other way! Tina knew what was coming and she grabbed Kathleen around the back running along to add to the momentum of the two. "How'd you like this!?" Tina shouted as she planted her feet to the mat mere feet from the cage shoving Kathleen forward hoping to laugh her hard into the cage wall!

The tigress would move forward after, screaming in rage as she looked to treat Kathleen like a punching bag looking to batter Kathleen hard as she was pressed against the wall to return the favor from earlier. Tina's strikes were powerful, fast, accurate and all backed by a vengeful drive to crush Kathleen into dust.

Kathleen was prepared to batter Tina's head against the cage over and over again until she was concussed and drooling, but when she attempted to bash her head against the cell again, the Tigress suddenly pushed her back, forcing her back to slam against the cage. "Grh!" Kathleen grunted, tensing up, before Tina came in to begin battering her with punches, acting in rage after the fearsome treatment she received.

Kathleen had to raise her arms to block as many as the blows as she could, not wanting to allow Tina to treat her like a punching bag, and eventually shoving her back as to break up the assault. "Hugh!" the Queen huffed, shaking her head and gripping her chest, looking to regain her breath while also trying to keep an eye on her opponent.

Tina fought with fury as she wanted to establish herself, and before Kathleen shoved her away the tigress knew she landed some solid hits. Tina moved back in looking to quickly land a toe kick to the abdomen of Kathleen. She wanted to stun her just for a second before moving close. Tina wanted to wrap an arm over her shoulder and grab between the legs, giving Kathleen's backside a slap as she lift her up and looked at the cage. "This is gonna hurt you sooo much more than it hurts me..." Tina said as she ran towards the cage keeping a grip on Kathleen!

Tina wanted to outright ram Kathleen against the cage wall as hard as she could then move back, spinning and power slamming Kathleen to the canvas as hard as she could!
