Bio: Fuuka Yamagishi had always been really into computers and technology since she was little, but both her parents pushed her hard into becoming a doctor to the point of basically forcing it on her, and also raised her so she wouldn't try to fight against and just accept it. But once she got the chance to move out and get away from them when she moved into a dorm in high school, she made friends who helped her grow a lot more of a spine. So not only did she go into to a technology based profession after graduating, once she realized just how awful her parents were, she wanted to show them that she wasn't doing what they wanted. And she wanted to do it in a way that would throw it in their faces as much as possible, so she became a pro wrestler on the side. However, Fuuka has never even watched a fight before, much less know how to actually do it. She does try to win in her matches, but she actually considers it a good thing that she's as bad at wrestling as she is. Since not only is her parent's daughter a wrestler, she's a really bad one who gets her body bent, twisted, played with, and exposed for long periods of time broadcasted to an international audience on a regular basis.

However, three events in Fuuka's career ended up altering her mindset. First was her Midas Touch match against Rose Gold. She knew what a wrestler of champion caliber was capable of doing to her, as well as Gold's reputation for being sadistic, sexual, and reveling in the humiliation of others. But poor Fuuka was just too inexperienced to comprehend what exactly turning herself over to that would mean. She could take the pain of Rose's attacks well enough, but Fuuka just couldn't take it once Rose started ramping up the sexuality of the match. Her body was played with and handled in ways that simply overwhelmed and broke Fuuka. It was too much, and she never wanted to suffer through that again.

The other two things were a lot more positive for Fuuka however. Including her first win. In addition to discovering a previously unknown talent for handling herself in oil matches, she also found that winning fights was very fun, and felt really good. Coming off the incident with Rose Gold that left her plans and motivations in limbo, becoming a wrestler who earnestly sought victory like most everybody else became genuinely appealing. And lastly was meeting and forming a tag team with Chiaki Nanami. Because with a partner to support, then Fuuka had no choice but to become serious about wrestling, both in fighting and training. She couldn't half ass it as a fighter if she had somebody else depending on her to do well.

In the early stages of her career, Fuuka simply couldn't do offense. She was weak and slow, and didn't know how to properly throw punches or throw people. She simply had next to zero ability to attack, making it near impossible for her to actually defeat opponents. If someone was just standing or sitting there for her to attack, Fuuka could've done something, but she'd only really get chances like that against opponents who are also weak and lacking in knowledge. But as Fuuka worked to shed the jobber label her offense has improved significantly. It would be disingenuous to call her offense a threat, but both her physical ability and technical acumen have increased significantly since she began fighting in earnest. Her offensive abilities in oil could even be considered as above average now. But Fuuka is still a primarily defensive fighter. Her body has great durability, being able to take a lot of punishment. Along with possessing the mental strength and willingness to stick those beatings out to the end if need be. She also has great vision and reflexes, allowing her to read opponents and react accordingly, though her low mobility makes dodging still difficult outside of oil. Fuuka's main win condition is outlasting opponents until they run low on energy and become vulnerable, but she is now much more capable of both draining that energy with her own attacks as well as going in for a finish without her opponent needing to be completely exhausted.

Special Skill: Oil Queen - In her oil match with Momo Yamamoto, Fuuka discovered something new about herself. Her carefulness, patience, and grace made her surprising adept at fighting in oil. This extends to other gimmicks as well, her analytical and observant nature allow her to make very good use of various match gimmicks that may just give her an edge. Fuuka receives various stat boosts depending of the gimmick of the match, such as gaining speed and offensive skill in oil. Though it has it's limits of course. The gimmick has to significantly change how a match is fought. If a match is submission only, that's not different enough from standard for Fuuka to use. Also, if the opponent is comfortable with the gimmick, then overcoming Fuuka's boosts shouldn't be too troublesome for them.

In Oil: */10 On top of her Standard Defense, her increased ability to avoid and escape in oil makes Fuuka one of if not the most difficult wrestlers to put down in LAW. From a defensive standpoint, the only thing that could be called a weakness are sexual techniques.


Overall Rating: Full on jobber. To quote FreestylePoet when I showed him my idea for Fuuka, "Long-thread ryona bait." Has proven to have some fight in more gimmicky matches, however.
After significant training, Fuuka has become much stronger. Still would be considered below average as of this moment, but only slightly instead of well below. But she could still fulfill Poet's words against particularly strong competition. Furthermore, she should now be considered a legitimate threat in oil/messy matches.
