BACKSTORY: Isabel was born in Ponce, to middle-class parents. Although her parents pushed her to pursue artistic and intellectual pursuits, Isabel was always drawn to physical ones. She played baseball and roughhoused with the other neighborhood kids instead of attending piano practice and French classes. However, as she got older, and her peers grew around her, she failed to do so. Her short stature left her out of many of the athletic activities she had enjoyed prior. Resigned, Isabel retreated into her studies.
When she was 16, Isabel, by pure dumb luck, discovered wrestling and fell in love. Here, she could circumvent raw strength and stature with technique and skill. She learned to grapple, to apply and escape from submissions, and, perhaps most importantly, how to take a hit. She found herself to be quite durable long-winded, able to outlast more frail or easily winded foes. She fought in several indie circuits, accruing a modestly impressive track record.
At age 18, Isabel caught the eye of a LAW talent scout, who offered her a spot in the Young Lioness program. While she was passionate about wrestling and eager, Isabel's parents urged her to decline and pursue higher education. At their behest, she turned the scout down. However, about a day later, Isabel was caught in a minor car accident. She was largely unharmed, save for sporadic scaring across her body. Still, the accident put things into perspective, both for her, and her parents, who agreed to let their daughter pursue her dreams.
Upon recovering, Isabel contacted the talent scout, who informed her that the slot was still available. Isabel trained as a Young Lioness for years under LAW trainers and big names, some of whom she'd watched the matches of as a teenager. Though it took effort, Isabel made her way through the program, graduating as a fully-fledged wrestler in a mere three years.
PERSONALITY: Although Isabel appears to wear a nigh-perpetual scowl, Isabel is actually very playful and personable. Isabel gets a kick out of teasing her opponents both in and out of the ring, and absolutely loves placing foes in humiliating holds. That said, she is not actively malicious. She merely sees such actions as a part of the show. Isabel is boisterous and loud, and will rarely refrain from speaking her mind.
