Backstory
Hortensia Aster is the younger of two sisters from serene snowscape of Northern England. Hortensia received the same aristocrat's upbringing as her older sister Ivy, but turned out very differently. She is capable of acting as a proper lady when the situation requires it of her, but not so deep down, Hortensia harbors pure gremlin energy. She feasts off of the attention and adoration of others, basking in the limelight like few others. Hortensia is obsessed with cuteness, striving to be the cutest woman in the world.
However, deep within herself, Hortensia harbors powerful insecurities about her worth compared to her Ivy, and her ability to live up to the expectations placed on her by the station of her birth, and from the lofty goals she places upon herself. Hortensia and Ivy do possess a truly loving, healthy sisterly bond, but Hortensia still struggles to believe that she can stack up to what she sees when she looks at her sister. Hortensia is also surprisingly insecure when it comes to looks, feeling threatened by those comparable to her in cuteness, and those who exude auras of grace and ladylike personalities that surpass her own. Hortensia is especially jealous when it comes to sexiness, and wishes that her body would develop more and at a faster rate. Generally, a woman with bigger breasts than Ivy will earn Hortensia's ire. But beyond any other woman, Hortensia harbors a disdain bordering on hatred towards Niko Tomiji. They both share the small, pink, and bubbly brand of cuteness, but Niko also has a thick, curvy, busty body that gives her additional sexiness that Hortensia views as infuriatingly unfair. But Hortensia could have let it go, since Niko is Ivy's training partner under Tiki Lowell, and she does possess the emotional maturity to not truly form an opinion of somebody based purely off of looks, but the line was crossed in Hortensia's eyes when Niko dealt Ivy her first loss in LAW in brutal, humiliating fashion. Followed by a POW session that was salt in the wound. Once that happened, it was war, as far as Hortensia was concerned. Though Ivy and Niko hold no grudge between themselves over the matter.
The Asters are a wealthy family, made so through their patriarch's great fame and success as a prizefighter in his youth. He made sure that both his daughters learned to fight at least well enough to defend themselves, and that minimum was originally as far as Hortensia wished to go. Even as Ivy well in love with wrestling and began working to make a profession of it, Hortensia was content to simply be her biggest fan. But when Ivy went to LAW, Hortensia followed, making use in her father's wealth and faith in her ability to handle herself in order to make frequent trips between Tokyo and England to both be with her father at home and to support Ivy abroad.
But when Hortensia got to Japan, she was enthralled. Falling in love with the culture, with LAW, with all the new people she met. This newly granted independence was what truly unleashed the gremlin inside of her, as well, feeling less pressure to be proper as much as she had before. Hortensia was the loudest voice in the crowd for any of Ivy's matches that she could make it to, and making certain to still watch any matches that she couldn't be in the crowd for. Hortensia even began delving into the wider world of LAW as a whole, even getting to meet and befriended legendary wrestler and trainer Tiki Lowell, who was Ivy's mentor. Tiki noticed a similar potential in Hortensia and expressed a desire to train her as well. Hortensia has not accepted that offer as of yet, but feels the pull of following her family's footsteps more and more with each day she spends immersed in LAW.

One day, Hortensia decided to eat at the restaurant owned by the family of LAW wrestler Meiyun Lai, whom Ivy had recently beaten in a match. The meal goes poorly, and Hortensia decided to tease Meiyun with her loss over it. Their argument escalated until they were agreeing to settle things outside. On the surface, Hortensia was a kid, and Meiyun was a pro wrestler; but Hortensia was still and athletic, combat trained woman, and Meiyun was a Young Lioness who isn't exactly taking names even in LAW's rookie division. So when push came to shove, Hortensia put Meiyun on her ass. That experience, combined with everything else drawing her towards LAW, pushed Hortensia over the edge of decided to become a pro wrestler once she came of age. Now she'll spend her time training under Tiki alongside her sister, and perhaps a number of other woman along the way.
