There's nothing quite like the feeling of being outdoors. The thrill one can find out in the wild is indescribable. To tap into one's primal roots and connect with the land itself. The wind on your face, the sun on your back, the earth beneath your feet...What a feeling that must be. To be among wildlife, to experience the cycle of the Earth from the plants in the ground to the animals that roam the lands alongside us...To see the world in its purest form, walking through a lush forest teeming with life. Nothing could hope to compare to the wonders of the world's original phenomena...Nature itself.
Those were the thoughts of a bright-eyed and energetic girl. Someone who was trapped within a concrete jungle...someone who spent hours on end daydreaming about the natural wonders of the planet. Natsuki Yoshimura was your semi-average schoolgirl. She liked playing with dolls, got good grades in school, never bullied anybody, and was a pleasant and well-mannered young lady. However, she never really fit in. Given the circumstances in her life, Natsuki was...different...to say the least. She got along with others in her school but never found a group she could call her own. She never managed to find her calling either...always coasting by, never really standing out amongst the nameless, faceless crowds. She felt trapped, imprisoned in a system that churned out the same old office workers, doctors, scientists, and lawyers. She didn't want that for herself. It didn't suit her. She yearned for more out of her life. Natsuki was a very vibrant and spirited young woman. She was an avid participant in all things physical at her school, going so far as to join the amateur swim team. Of course, there was a reason behind this. Growing up in Shibuya, Natsuki was surrounded by loud noises, busy streets, speeding cars, and giant skyscrapers. A world of white and grey metal and stone towers lit up by neon lights and flashy signs. It was...a bit much. She found solace in one thing...nature.
Now, Natsuki loved the use of technology and all the benefits of living in the modern world, but there was something nice about experiencing the wonders of nature. To have a chance to break away from everything, to be in the presence of the world in its most natural state. Natsuki liked that. Trips to the zoo were her favorite. She found such serenity by spectating the many exotic animals on display. However, after a while, things took a turn. These trips began to inspire her less and less. She continued to see the same things over and over again. What was one this rare moment of joy...had turned into something manufactured, like everything else around her. At the age of sixteen, Natsuki desired a change of scenery. During the summer of that year, she went to the woods on a camping trip, experiencing nature...TRUE NATURE...for the first time in her life. She was utterly mesmerized. She took in all the wild sights, sounds, and smells. She saw numerous animal species, plants, and other such wildlife. The seven days she spent in the forest were more exciting than the last sixteen years of her life. From that day on, Natsuki made it her goal to prevent this passion from dying. Every chance she had, she went into the woods. She swam in the rivers, camped out, hiked, and learned survival skills, all to maintain her connection with nature. She had never felt such empowerment before. Was this what it felt like thousands of years ago when cities didn't exist? When humans had to hunt to survive? Natsuki could get used to this...this feeling of freedom.
However, as time marched on, so did human progression. Forests were eventually cut down, and the wilderness that Natsuki cherished began to diminish. Over time, the woman had fewer opportunities to explore the wonders of the wild. Many days were spent trapped in school, preparing for exams she didn't care about. That sense of freedom felt nonexistent...Natsuki felt...hopeless. Then one day, while walking through the busy streets of Shibuya, the young woman passed by a wall of TV screens. All of them were showcasing different channels across their wide, high-definition displays, but only one caught the attention of the black-haired schoolgirl. She saw two masked figures battling in a ring, fighting tooth and nail for survival and glory. Natsuki stopped in her tracks, eyes glued to the screen. It was mesmerizing. She had felt this level of excitement only once in her life before. It was the same sensation she felt when she ventured into the woods for the first time. What was this phenomenon? What was this sport? What was this burning feeling within her!?

After that day, Natsuki poured all her energy into discovering more about professional wrestling. A few hours spent during school became long days and nights of studying in the library and watching television matches. How had she never discovered this spectacular world before? Everything she saw left her breathless and awe-struck. The amount of thrilling action and passion on display filled her with an unyielding passion. Natsuki turned to her parents and made her declaration known. She wasn't going to follow the path of a regular person. Her dreams lay way above the heights of any corporate ladder...Natsuki Yoshimura was going to become...a PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER!!! After completing her final year of school, the eighteen-year-old upstart enrolled in a wrestling academy in Tokyo. She took to wrestling with a rousing degree of success, showing incredible amounts of talent given her athletic background. Day after day, Natsuki was in the gym, training herself to her limits. Despite her small stature, the young woman was nothing short of an absolute beast in the ring, developing quite the ferocious style that soon became the basis of her in-ring persona...After coming up with a name, crafting a costume for herself, and refining her skills, the ''Sunset Huntress'' had been BORN. Following a few years in the indie circuits, Natsuki eventually earned the interest of a talent scout from a big-name promotion, giving her the opportunity of a lifetime. Now with a few years of experience under her belt and a ticket toward the grandest stage of them all...the energetic woman was ready to take LAW by storm and hunt the BIGGEST, BADDEST game of them all...
Personality: Natsuki is a very energetic, free-spirited young woman. She is impulsive, quick to act, and short-sighted about thinking things through. This is all due to no fault of her own. It's just in her ''nature''...so to speak...Deep down, she is a compassionate and caring young woman with a penchant for getting easily excited over things she is passionate about. Like a firework, it only takes a spark to set her off. However, there's a sort of charm to her explosive and wild personality. Outside the ring, Natsuki is your everyday girl next door. She's a kind person with a warm heart. She's a great friend to have if you can bear her intensity. Inside the ring, the woman is a different kind of beast...she embodies her "huntress" theme quite literally, taking on the persona of a big-game hunter. She's the type of person who enjoys a challenge, viewing matches as one big "hunt"...Whenever she sets her sights on someone, she never lets her target off her radar. Whenever people underestimate her, it excites her because she knows she'll prove them wrong. The liberation Natsuki feels when tapping into her persona is second-to-none. When she puts on the mask, it's as if she taps into her primal roots. She gains this unwavering sense of focus and determination alongside a terrifying sense of ferocity.
Trivia
- At a young age, Natsuki was diagnosed with ADHD. This is seen in her impulsive nature, semi-lack of focus, and hyperactivity.
- Natsuki's attire uses a lot of fur, but thanks to the help of a friend, she's since replaced the fur with a similar substitute. This substitute achieves a similar look, feel, and touch as any normal fur would...minus the animal cruelty that comes with it.
- Originally, Natsuki's gear was meant to be covered with leopard-print-style dots. However, the manufacturer screwed up the fabrics. As a result, a few of the dots began to fade across parts of her gear. Strangely, Natsuki liked this, seeing it as a happy accident as she believed it made her outfit look unique.
- One of Natsuki's goals is to "hunt down" wrestlers with a similar theme to hers. This includes people with cat-themed gear or monikers...Be it regular cats, lions, tigers, leopards, lynxes, etc...If you've got a connection, you're on the Huntress' radar.
- Natsuki has a specific connection to another fellow Japanese wrestler on my roster. She trained at the same wrestling school in Tokyo during their rookie years. She considers this person her greatest rival and closest friend...
- Natsuki has a strange fixation on buildable figurines and structures like LEGO. It eases her hyperactivity as she focuses on building things to absolute perfection, ensuring that every detail is accurate to the instructions or, in some cases, her imagination.
- Natsuki's leopard mask was made as a homage to Spring Tiger's mask from Tiger Mask W, one of her favorite anime. She draws some inspiration from Spring Tiger, given their similar lightweight-centric builds and fast-paced, agile fighting style. It's a near-identical shape and style, but it's been modified to fit her leopard aesthetic.
- One of Natsuki's desires is to own a whole litter of cats...unfortunately, her current residence doesn't allow pets, so she's saving up money until she can move into a new place that does.
- Hack-and-slash action video games are Natsuki's favorite genre. Being able to "turn her brain off" and tear away at crowds of enemies can distract her for hours. Once upon a time, she played through an entire game to completion, going two days from sun-up to sundown.

Strategy: Natsuki's "strategy" involves assaulting her opponent with a flurry of attacks. With a rapid and aggressive level of offense, the leopard-theme huntress attempts to overwhelm her opponent. She targets areas like limbs and joints, aiming to slowly cripple her foes like an apex predator stalking its prey. Once her opponent is reduced to a limping target, the Sunset Huntress strikes, finishing them off and "securing the kill"...Natsuki's hyperactive nature allows her to barrage opponents with fast-paced strikes. Even if her opponent has a solid defense, the sheer intensity of the Huntress' blitz effectively limits their options, as the pressure can quickly overtake them at a moment's notice. Additionally, Natsuki will use sudden aerial maneuvers, bouncing and springing off the ropes for additional momentum to strengthen the impact of her attacks.
