Personality: Akiko is a reserved and sweet girl, but one with a good bit of sass to her. She's very confident and competitive, sometimes even catty. She never backs down. She's very smart, both when it comes to the books and when it comes to the ring.
Backstory: In High School, Akiko was a shy and meek girl who mostly kept to herself. That was until her senior year, when her best friend joined the wrestling team, and talked her into joining with her. She had reservations at first, but pretty soon, she was into it. She seemed to have a natural talent for wrestling, and she grew passionate about the sport and bonded with the othet members of the club.
Towards the end of the year, her school had a wrestling meet against another school, and the other school's club only had one girl who was Akiko's size: Yozakura Fukuda. For the entire meet, Yozakura antagonized Akiko with catty insults and trash talk, and it made Akiko angry enough that when it was finally time for their match, both girls went at it in an all out catfight. Yozakura was skilled, and she hit hard, but Akiko managed to counter her with a brutal upper cut that put her on her back, and humiliated her in front of everyone with a facesit while she was declared the winner.
After a great victory in such an intense match, Akiko became far more confident then she was before, both in the ring and her life. She became just a little more outgoing and friendly, and she wasn't shy anymore. After she graduated, she started to train on a more professional level, and wrestled in the indies until she was accepted into LAW!
