Personality: Fleur is a refined and mature young lady. Intelligent and level-headed, she is calm in almost any situation. As befitting of a maid, Fleur is devoted to carrying out any task asked of her. That said, she’s willing to put her foot down if what she’s asked is unreasonable or crosses a line.
History: Fleur comes from a long line of servants that have served the Gaillard family. The Gaillards are old money descended from French nobility. From a young age Fleur was trained to be a maid. She was taught everything from household chores to etiquette to combat in order to defend her master if the need arose. When she was eighteen she officially entered the Gaillard family’s service. For the first few years everything was fine. The head of the Gaillard family was a kind master who treated his staff well.
Unfortunately, this ended when her master grew sick and passed away. Control of his estate was passed down to his son. Unlike his father, the son was spoiled and arrogant and he often treated the staff like dirt. He was also a man of many vices, often spending his time partying and gambling. He would blow his money on alcohol, escorts, and other frivolous purchases. Despite this, Fleur would serve him dutifully while her professionalism trumped her personal feelings. Eventually, the cost of her new master’s lavish lifestyle caught up to him and he ended up going bankrupt. Without any money, he couldn’t afford to retain his staff.
On the last day of her service to the man, Fleur was finishing up her tasks and was on her way out when she came across the master trying to force herself onto one of the other maids. Fleur intervened and beat her former master senseless. The master tried to have Fleur arrested for this but the other staff backed her up. As Fleur was contemplating her future, she heard that LAW was hosting tryouts in her area. On a whim she decided to sign up and she ended up impressing the LAW recruiters to get offered a contract.
