Not her finest moment
Strategy: Almost always a strength disadvantage, Miyama relies on superior agility, superior technique and superior cunning to win matches. She is starts matches cautiously, relying on swift and damaging kicks and counterattacks to soften up opponents before relying on painful holds to grind opponents into submission. As a last resort, she can take to air to deliver a devastating attack.
Overall Difficulty: ★★★★☆
Preferred matches: Is open for almost anything. She absolutely refuses to reject any challenge, which can lead to her being in matches with the odds stacked against her.
Traits:
Strength: ★☆☆☆☆
Her biggest weakness, Miyama is simply not very strong. She can lift lightweights only, and stronger lightweights can overpower her. The less said about how she fares against larger wrestlers the better.
Stamina: ★★★★☆
Has above average conditioning but is quite stubborn, which can keep her in the match much longer than usual.
Toughness: ★★★☆☆
Again, Miyama's headstrong nature make up for her small frame in this case. Even so, she can't withstand much sustained punishment.
Speed: ★★★★★
Miyama is extremely quick can get close to her opponent in no time at all and be out of their reach just as fast. Her speed is her primary defensive and offensive asset, and it is one half of what allows to remain competitive.
Finesse: ★★★★★
Graceful and dextrous, seeing Miyama move is a sight to behold. Her excellent technical skills combined with her amazing speed and agility is the other half of what allows to remain competitive even against opponents who can easily best her in terms of strength or size.
Moveset:
Strikes: ★★★★☆
While lacking in upper body strength, Miyama's kicks have quite a bit of bite to them. Her leaping and running strikes like her dropsault and leg lariat are also quite powerful. Perhaps most dangerously, because of her proficiency with ezuigiris and dragon whips, her kicks can still be dangerous even if her leg is caught, making her strikes difficult to defend against.
Throws: ★★☆☆☆
More often than not, Miyama relies on moves that don't involve lifting her opponent such as bulldogs, STOs and DDTs. Mostly she just uses throws as a means to take opponents down to ground so she can trap them in submissions.
Holds: ★★★★☆
Her primary way of grinding down foes. Prefers to use holds that rely on the power of her legs but has a wide array of submissions at her disposal.
Aerial: ★★★☆☆
As one would expect, Miyama's aerial moves are graceful and impressive to watch. The problem is, she's just too cautious to make good use of them. While her shooting star press and diving hurricanrana can turn the tide of a match, she'd often prefer go the safer route.
Counters: ★★★★★
Miyama is a master of using her opponents strength against them and countering her opponents attacks. She's extremely confident defensively, so much so that she can and will find ways to make her opponent look foolish or humiliate them with mocking applause or teasing spanks.
Finishing moves:
Hissatsu: A spinning kick to the head into splits. Often causes knockouts. Sayuri: Tilt-a-whirl headscissors armbar
Background
Personality: Miyama is moody and disdainful of others. She doesn't trust people and she doesn't like people unless they're admiring her from a good distance away. Despite this, she has an overwhelming desire to prove herself to others which makes her extremely driven and willing to put herself in dire situations to do so. Prestige and pride is everything to her. She loves to prove others are inferior to her but strangely she has quite a bit of sympathy to those who are worse at wrestling than her, her ire is seemingly entirely reserved for more experienced women or opponents who possess physical advantages over her. Outside of wrestling she is extremely quiet and can go for weeks without talking to people. She is more than happy to while away the hours tending to her vegetable patch, looking after her many pets or settling down with a nice book.
History: Small, shy and sickly, Miyama was something of a disappointment to her family. Her mother was a relatively famous wrestler and owner of a small independent promotion and her two older sisters were well on their way to follow in her footsteps. Despite her poor health and small build, Miyama's mother pushed heavily for her to be a wrestler also. She struggled through her teenage years, being something of a joke among her promotion, enduring scorn and accusations of nepotism. Once she became an adult, she changed. Her health improved, allowing her to push her body to the limit and her shyness was replaced with contempt. She went from being a joke to being one of the next potential stars of her promotion.
As her abilities improved, her mother decided to try and elevate her status in the company by putting her in match with a large powerhouse wrestler. Expecting her to gain the sympathy of the crowds, Miyama was so ruthless and cared so little for the fans that she became a heel overnight. Miyama didn't care. She went on a warpath, tearing through opponent after opponent, even her own sisters. She kept going until she claimed what she desired: most prestigious belt in her promotion. But it wasn't enough, she needed more. She needed to prove to whole world that she was the best and no one could stand against her. Several promotions attempted to recruit her and LAW was among them. She chose LAW chiefly because it's style appealed to her and partly because it allowed her to live close to her younger sister who is one of the few people she actually likes spending time with.
