Asuga was born into a family of martial artists however her birth wasn't really normal as she was born with a very serious risk at dying soon, however the family didn't have enough money to pay for the hospital to take care of Asuga to make sure that she's okay. And so, they turned to the Yakuza for help. The Yakuza would give the family the money to pay off the medical bills and in exchange, the family will later be (non-officially) part of the Yakuza to work to pay off the debt. They all agree on the deal and signed a contract, with the money being paid off the bills and Asuga came out okay.
Fast forward for a few years later and Asuga's father died just three years after Asuga was born and only really Asuga's mother was really paying off the debt for the Yakuza. She knew that things weren't looking very good so behind the back of her own family, she talked to the Yakuza group to talk about changing the deal a little, she'll become an official member of the Yakuza and work to pay off the debt in exchange for leaving her family out of having to work to pay for the debt. Intrigued, the Yakuza accepts this change of the deal and thus Asuga was forced to move into the house of the Yakuza family where even at the age of nine, she was put into work to pay off the debt. It was also at this point of her life where she would train in martial arts officially, training the same fighting styles that her family teaches and it became apparent that she was a prodigy as she was able to learn and master different fighting styles faster than other people in her group. She would later become an instructor who's known for being a nice but also strict teacher. Speaking of which she would also later become a special bodyguard and enforcer for the Yakuza family.
Later, Asuga wants to be able to do more for when it comes with paying off the debt to the Yakuza as this Yakuza lifestyle isn't going as fast as she wanted to since in a way she was paying off the debt with their own money. One day though while she's in town, she came across a show on TV and that show was LAW. She was entranced by the show and how...different the fighting is, like yeah the fighters ARE legit fighting each other in the ring, but they're also like performers, putting on a show for the audience. She also realized that these wrestlers are actually getting paid for fighting, she can actually pay off the debt much faster than she ever could just being a Yakuza bouncer. She went to her boss and ask him if he doesn't mind for her to join LAW so that way she can actually pay off the debt much faster and can actually get her own place and take care of herself using her own money rather than using their money. The boss was on board with this idea and lets her go to LAW to really make some money but wants her to keep in mind that she IS still part of the Yakuza and thus if they need her, they'll call her and she has to answer AND she has to send in at least a set amount of money every month to make sure that she's actually working towards paying off her debt.
Personality
On one hand, Asuga is cool-headed and serious but then on the completely opposite end she's also very cheerful and bubbly. It's only really consistent when Asuga is in the match where you'd see her cool-headed, serious and analytical while outside of the match she's cheerful, friendly and bubbly.
