Wrestling Information
Physical Stats:
Endurance: ★★★★ - While easily stunned, she has proven quite the cockroach.
Strength: ★ - Most of it is in the legs. Even then, her size is damning.
Speed: ★★★★★ - Trademark of lightweights, with added free-running flair.
Defense: ★★ - Rather brutish and acrobatic in nature. Evasion over blocking any day.
Technique: ★★(★★) - In the traditional sense, she's learning. However, if we're talking executing Pirate-Fu, then there's none bettah than the Mastah.

Wrestling Stats:
Strikes: ★★(★★) - When accounting for her trick kicks, it's the pirate staple.
Submissions: ★★ - A small repertoire that plays a support role. Nothing noteworthy.
Powerhouse: ★ - Bruh.
Aerial: ★★★★★ - Watch her.
Counters: ★★★ - Most of it rides on being clever than technical.

Wrasslin’ Style:
Angelina possesses an asset which many can’t see on first appearance. A particular viciousness and aggression that originates from her adaption to street altercations, which often demands debilitation over just defeat. This often means a pain-maximised style through closed fists, knees, back-elbows and headbutts for base strikes. Her lack of complex wrestling ability is subsidised by her innate gift for movement, with remarkable speed, fluidity and instinct to use obstacles to help her. She’s strong on a street-scene, but inside that ring, four-ropes and a human body can be all she needs to pull off some amazing and brutal high-flying hits. You can expect a tough hardened woman who doesn’t shy from pain, rather, knows how to live within it and still thrive. She’s also smarter than people know, with that creativity and tenacity helping her innovate and combat her technical opponents, while she still struggles to battle them in earnest beyond closed fists, spit or something witty. What makes her a fearsome opponent, beyond all that, is two things. First, is that desire to reap all you’re worth, mentally, physically. She’s a head-hunting, collecting, treasurer, tormenting, pirating punk ass. And second, which any opponent will learn, is the sheer lengths she’ll go. No rules are sacred. If you can’t stop it, then boo hoo. Pirate-Fu.

Strengths: Angelina's strength lies in her mindset. It's vicious and unforgiving, ruthless and tenacious. She's had time to harden, making her able to inflict and receive pain as an equal experience with their own value, and not shy from it. Nothing inside the ring is sacred. Neither is she very shakeable. Rules and limits, the idea of honour are more-so given meaning in the match that be, often being zero. It makes her unpredictable. But perhaps her greatest physical trait is her agility and capacity for fluid and decisive moments. It’s instant and resourceful, possessing its share of acrobatics and fast counters that are maximised for pain infliction, and perhaps, just perhaps, a bit of finesse.

Weaknesses: Beyond the obvious lithe stature and inferior physicality and durability against bigger and stronger opponents that can manhandle her pirating desires, for someone like Angelina, there is a slightly more personal attribute when fighting someone. She desires to reap folks of everything of value before leaving them, like a reaper does to life or pirate boarding a ship. This makes her needlessly abusive at times, verbally and physically, and frequently taunting rather than seeking the match's conclusion. Her unquenchable need for conflict and pleasure leads her to chase folks and prizes that can out-match her limited experience. She’s a woman who uses her fear as a drug, thus, can, has and will keep willingly boarding a ship out-gunned in pursuit of taking worth. Her rough-edged style also sees an improvised moveset and sometimes hip-fired strategies, which can suffer against prepared technical opponents.

Backstory:
Warning: Long! Newly expanded!... With one minor retcon.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y.C, Rachel Baker comes from a cramped apartment with four older brothers. Her parents were very busy and tired people. They called Rachel “our special one” — as their only daughter, but didn’t spend much time on her. Her siblings became providers, as Rachel faded into the backdrop and mostly tagged with them to do activities. They were all competitive and bounced off each other to be ambitious and keep accountable. Rachel wanted to be like them in that sense. But, being three years younger made it hard to keep up, and they played exceptionally rough and typically ignored her attempts to join in. She needed to do better for their attention.

In school, she was the epitome of a good student. She excelled, behaved and tried befriending everyone. A teacher’s pet, class clown and smart kid wrapped into one. Test scores, praise and good behaviour stars were something she was deeply fond of, and she brought those home to show off in search of further praise. Her parents, often lethargic at home, gave her more mumbled words like “genius” and “superstar” while falling asleep, and apathetically echoed whatever long list of names she wanted, inspiring her to do more, like household chores. As for the siblings: they were lukewarm on her. Frankly, that only made their praise more valuable. They were telling her to do better. So she did their chores too to buddy up.

She kept running her tight ship. Studied. Exercised. Made sure she ate right. She pitched her own goals and self-negotiated the prizes to other people, usually adult figures and her siblings, who mostly vocally appeased her for peace and quiet or told her no. Birthday cakes were a constant ultimate want — she loved buying them, earning them, no matter how, and having everyone come together for five minutes for cake. More-so, she loved cutting the cake and handing out the slices. Big slices, and getting a thank you.

Over time, Rachel’s discipline towards goals, diet and reading made her very smart, healthy and an excellent runner. She had a fascination with robots, which later made her good at computer science in high school. But. She was never particularly honest about that, and mostly lied to match her friend’s interests and hobbies to keep them. Whatever she thought would bring her closer.

She was pushy and self-centered with those around her for their time and recognition, and often fabricated whole stories to guilt trip them into doing what she wanted or letting her be involved with activities. Frankly, she was selfishly motivated most of the time. Rachel always wanted to be smart and act mature. She frequently called out rudeness when she saw it. Always butted in to mediate in some objective but pandering way. You can say: a total hypocrite. To the other friends she kept, Rachel always seemed too busy and distant. She was prone to forgetting names and confusing stories that she told before.

They also found her scary and aggressive. Soccer, for instance. That was her passion, because that’s what her brothers played too. She learned to be rough, from shoving, to sliding into legs, checking and accidental crotching. Her cleats sometimes had steel fitted in the toe and she purposely kicked for the shin, and broke a kid’s ankle this way. Anyone who posed a threat. She convinced the rest of the team to follow suit, where they also had a tradition of whipping stones, which started as a fun game she made about foot-work, but quickly became about hitting different body sections for points. Only wusses cry. Kneecaps are ideal. Eyes are bullseyes. The face was just hilarious. Your score is doubled if you get away with it. And, whoever on our team sucks the most next game? — rocked. Free shot against the wall, bare back.

The coach was semi-aware… As was the school. But Rachel always managed to slip any discipline or ESPECIALLY, calls home. This was common in any case of wrongdoing. She sobbed, denied, called peer pressure, threw everyone else under the bus or profusely apologized as this was unlike her. Her grades and teacher anecdotes helped a lot to save her... As did her parent's nonchalance. Frankly — she’d talk her way into more privileges, and get prizes to take home to show off and tell tall tales about for praise. Something incredibly common.

Highschool saw her get more serious. There were more rivals at hand, studies became harder and more diverse, everyone was getting bigger while she stayed smaller and the path to adulthood was closing in. She found herself cutting people off for time, and school teams didn’t want her attitude. That was fine, mostly. They were pussies.

At home, things seemed to improve. She had a handle on every chore to do, a schedule and talk her way into her brother’s spheres and more than keep up by being pushy, loud, charming and a bully if need be. Her parents, too. She made sure they kept their promises for once… but primarily pestered them to actually talk with her. She excelled in her AP classes and was able to finish high school at fifteen with a very high GPA and SAT score. Then, to top it all off: she gained an acceptance letter to an ivy league college, full scholarship. For once, her family celebrated and they all had cake. She was lauded in praise, promise and reward, such as a car when she turned eighteen, help with financing an apartment in this new city, and just, most importantly, being called a special little rachel. Pat pat.

They convinced her to be emancipated to handle her allowances and move out. However, she chose to stay in New York to be closer to them and stay online. It was a good year, even if busier than she had ever been.

Over a year later, she ran into trouble. She decided to take a shortcut through an alley, popsy in hand, when she came upon a mugging. While she attempted throwing rocks at the attacker, she didn’t figure there'd be an accomplice looking out. So, she became the second victim, having been incapacitated, stabbed and robbed. She blurred out for days in a hospital bed staring at a wall. She didn't remember her house number or anyone’s cell number. When she did recall, she called incessantly but no one believed her incident and said they were busy.

She checked herself out early and returned to school immediately. Having followed Doctors advice for a therapist, she was seen as lacking self-esteem, highly stressed and potentially having ASPD. She was told that she needed to find a way to love yourself. To enjoy her time. Do things for herself that didn't need others to validate it. Find what you like. Know your self worth. Practically speaking, this meant relaxing more than competing. Be amongst things than ignoring them. So, Rachel spent more alone time outdoors, exploring, sometimes soaking in the sun. She studied menial things like the rust on fences, brick patterns, looked at plants and visited local restaurants. Then, she took her findings in photos and video clips to show her being normal and having interests in future sessions.

Frankly: it was a boring as fuck year.

On her therapist’s gentle advice, Rachel moved back home. She showed up without announcement and went back to her old room, with no word or comment from anyone else. Everyone fends for themselves anyway. She decorated her room with posters and her old trophies. Made it a sanctum to smile at, just a little, but shelves were still empty. So she went out to find a new kind of trophy, and started looking at price tags and items behind glass and whatever looked cool, with zero dollars to her name. Treat yourself, the Doctah ordered, so, hesitantly, she took things and ran. When no consequences came — she felt a particular high, jubilant and often went back to the scene to find a reaction of rage, sadness or panic. Priceless. It was her new breakthrough, where she began pushing herself to steal. This new wave of energy needed a mask. Some new getup. Some hair dye and contact lenses. Some horns. Feel the new vibe.

Then, it became a name. A matter of convenience, really. Say, when you start going to a fence to sell off stolen things, would you use your real name? Nah. Rachel Baker, Harvard student and bonafide superstar wouldn’t risk her good-girl points on this. But Angelina Tarrant would. But who was Angelina Tarrant? Surely… Someone, right? A charismatic thief, most definitely. Out for trophies to fill her shelves and coffers. A rebel against law and nature, maybe. No, a limitless pirate on a soaring vessel. Someone in tune with exactly what she wanted to do and what she wanted to achieve, and looked only at herself to do it. Yeah…

Meanwhile, she was being pushed to deal with her incident, to which he described her having a clever and insistent avoidance with topic changes, tales of freerunning on rooftops, backflipping off walls, tales of stealing in broad daylight and riding off on a skateboard, then selling off goods like some legitimate business. She was walling up with lies and aggression. Angelina fought this, vehemently.

She was loud, and didn't think she needed this.
Well. That’s what she interpreted from the sessions anyway. Where she made progress, she needed rewards. Stealing was rewarding. Freerunning was rewarding. Getting into fights: rewarding. Her own self-made crucible, where she set the stakes and she claimed the rewards, getting bigger and bigger by the weeks to come. And the longer she found this happy place, the longer she looked at home with increased apathy and deeper resentment. Thus, she hatched a plan.

Having eavesdropped about a sibling’s intention to wrestle in California, she stowed away in the trunk, only to be caught when they were far, far out. She sobbed, begged and played small to his ego to allow her to follow. He conceded, mostly to shut her up, but she was to fend for herself. That she did.

The promotion was bottom-level, as far as she knew. But, that wasn’t what she was attracted to. It was the talent scout that was present, who came all the way from Japan to announce a tournament. Anyone may join, and the winner gets themselves a contract. Practically the dream for any wrestler, including her brother. So she joined, much to his delicious rage, and ended up loving the sport. He thought her small -- and, admittedly, she already knew that. But she knew exactly how to cheat, and he didn’t. It made kicking his ass delicious, full of euphoria watching him squirm, extending it for time, repeatedly punting him in the head, targeting his knees and shaving off portions of his hair and making him eat the chunks, bit by bit. The reaction she got was pure gold. All that jeer, and still, when the dust cleared: She was LAW bound. And for a change, she was satisfied with her achievement and didn’t need home.

All that’s left… Is to own this shit
Personality:
A look at Angelina Tarrant
Angelina Tarrant fancies herself a pirating spirit with the motto: “I have no lines.”

Someone on the hunt for a new Kraken to slay, gold to pillage and hearts to steal, squeeze or twist, depending on her whims. The vessel she runs is kept in tip-top shape. The urbancore pirate accepts nothin’ less than cleanliness, organization and precision, and sails ahead with all hands on deck for every fight. So what’s her vibe? Well. Free, you might say. She always seems fine on her surface, light-hearted, takes the piss out of herself, yet always with an answer and has negative anxiety. Witty in conversation. Flirty, adventurous and more than willing to face dangerous waters, whether its scaling heights or facing down challenges… With… Varying levels of pure fear. But. That’s why she plans. Heists, robberies, schemes, scams and mischief in eight different shades. Each one is a work of love and art: with cunning brutality and swingin till the end. Full broadsides. Because at the end of the day: Draw that shabby cutlass, she’d say. Have at thee. See who can strike ya down.

To Angelina, there’s always a new skate spot -- or restricted, perhaps abandoned area to hide away into and run around. That’s what makes cities her favourite. Smoother roads, easy to get lost in and secrets. The pirate likes noise. Stimuli abundance. Loud nu-metal and punk. Flashing lights. Sex. Fireworks. Fire. Makin’ that spectator roar or froth with rage: all is equal here.

Of course, underneath all the gunpowder charges, there’s someone just a little more toned down home and alone, with all the same fire directly underneath. In places of private, she likes to be slow-beat and unravel from the high-intensity. The music she enjoys is slower and lyrical. Dance-worthy. She enjoys the feeling of something warm and eating ice cream or popsicles. Her favourite movies tend to involve pirates, high speed chases or, strangely, holidays like Christmas, Easter and Valentines. Her naps are long, but at the same time, she tends to NOT sleep for thirty hours. She enjoys reading and tinkering with little goofy tech projects. Her spaces are exceptionally clean and organized and she eats primarily salads, as diet is excruciatingly important to her. Trophies tend to be scattered around her spaces -- and she obsesses about the horde more than she lets on. They make her feel a little bit special, with the memories of acquiring it, the reaction and the continued story of getting away with it -- all bundle up into this little sentimental attachment that makes her feel entitled to each stolen item.

Cool Bug Facts:

  • Angelina has a small online following, mainly surrounding videos of skateboard montages, urbex and parkour clips. She stands out for her demon look and fun loving personality that is always looking for places she shouldn't be.
  • She possesses three notable scars. One on her neck, concealed by her choker. One on her right-side ribs by her breast and another on her lower left backside, just over the waistline. Other than that, she holds a few minor scattered scars like on her right shin and often gloved left palm. Maybe funny, maybe serious. She won't tell you!
  • The horns exist because she thinks they're kick ass.
  • Total lightweight with alcohol, only snuck a handful on occasions for obvious age reasons.
  • Favourite food is just ice cream. Strawberry. In fact, anything cherry and she's game.

Storylines, Rivals and Feuds! ( Under construction: will be done by December 6th. )
Shimmerlace Snuggleblossom - Done!
Games with Tea and Rabbits - The promo segment between a pirate and fairy, performing magic tricks, contained hijinks and their commitment to a shared idea of being comets. Of course, there's a twist, and a pet rabbit sets a tangible stake for LAW all around. For Angelina, it was all about seeing Shimmer bleed.
Gibbet Match @ Fight the LAW 2 - With Angelina showing off her new pet on social media and getting increasingly attached, the two wannabe comets square off in LAW's Undercard. The war is fierce and the blood seems plenty, with teeth bared and skin split, fantastical moves hit and a finale that went beyond the barricade.
Smash and Grab - After these two had their Verdun, Angelina relishes in healing and enjoying her loot in day-to-day life. However, she notices something. Shimmerlace Snuggleblossom, hot on her tail. Flattered and amused by her efforts to chase this beyond the ring, she agrees to hear her out... On top of a temple, of course. Together, they embark on a heist to rob one Huan Brightspring. When this goes south, Angelina pulls the plug and cuts her off.
Yuki Kazikura vs Shimmerlace Snuggleblossom - HONESTLY, she didn't want to do this. But at the SAME TIME... Yes she did. Yes, she absolutely did. Through an Apex Run that saw both comets struggle dearly, and with Shimmer's chase for Angelina continuing, Shimmer sets eyes on one of Angelina's major rivals, Yuki Kazikura. Fortunately, or unfortunately, Angelina wouldn't accept Shimmer near her, so curated an audacious plan to scare and hurt them both. As well as end the Shimmerlace problem, once and for all at Apex itself.
Magic In a Bottle - With Thistlebro and Apex on the line, both comets feel the heat and face each other for what could possibly be their last meeting.
Yuki Kazikura
Yuki Kazikura vs Angelina Tarrant - In the start of something cinematic, a far more experienced Kazikura faces off against a fresher Marauding face, eager to make her image stick.
Something had to be Said - Not long after their match, Kazikura has something to say about the result. Lets just say... It twisted a knife exactly the wrong way. And now, there will be endless consequences.
Welcome Home! - With Yuki wanting a rematch and Angelina wanting blood, there was only so much time before another broadside came to salvo. Both of them know this. Still, they find a way to escalate in the most domestic way possible.
Catching a Ride - Soon after their encounter, they meet once again. While they attempt to resolve what has happened, frankly, that only makes things worse in a battle on public transit.
Yuki Kazikura vs Shimmerlace - Turns out, she has a bloodlust for haunting dear Kazikura, with increased obsession, ferocity and slicing. And when you have a chance to knock off Shimmerlace while you're at it, and take a shot at Apex? Three birds one Mr. Glove.
Madeleine Citronelle
Tiaras and Tricorns - Regalia and Rebel seems to be the parallel themes. They seem to get along. Until they don't. Then, they really, really, really don't. And then they do? It's all a fog. A mix of pet play, torture, strap-ons, stuffed animals and a little bit of back dooring while picking each other's minds bit by bit.
A Doll's House - So about all that...
Satsuki Hayano
Kicks, Tricks and Pink Drinks - Sometimes, you just need to let loose and that involves gettin' wasted, thievin', schemin, and gambling kicks with one of nightlife's hottest highrollers: Satsuki Hayano.
Hentai Submission @ We are LAW 6 - Fate can be a marvelous bitch sometimes, and its given these two another crack at each other, in perhaps, the only way they didn't get to last time. A lot has changed since then... Both of them have carved out some name power.
Kagura Rine
Locking Horns - You wouldn't believe how much she wanted to meet another horned chick... This shit is about to be hella fun, with POW on the time. She can't wait.
The Rine Residence - Going to her own place sounds boring regardless. This was always the plan! A whole new territory to Queen over, with the hottest host to boot.
Cecelia Northman
Pillaging Ragnarök - Climbin' the ladder ain't easy when the opportunities don't come in. So, what's the solution? Make them, bitch.
Boiling Point - Piss off the bear and something was bound to happen. Yeah. She got that. Now, it's all about survival. Then, winning.
Slasher's Cabin Match - A long awaited horror between two monsters, in a distant woods with real weapons, real traps and very real blood and fire. Just who has trapped who?
Yoko Hinode
