Backstory: Twilight is an orphan, though that is not very important to her. Often brushing that fact aside. Twilight Sparkle is raised under Celestia who is a veteran and historic wrestler. Celestia has done well to put Twilight in a good school and encourage Twilight on things she enjoys. Such as learning and reading. That being said Twilight has always been a loner, much to Celestia’s dismay. Twilight prefers to be in her books and stories. The loner style she had didn’t impact her grades either. Usually scoring at the top of the class, some of the students find that impressive. Though she finds Twilight unapproachable because of her status. Now Celestia knew Twilight wasn’t going through anything negative, but her loner style Celestia knew would impact her social development. It was a careful task wanting to push Twilight into another subject. But also not putting her in a position where Twilight feels she has to do it. Oftentimes her advice would be cryptic with the classic “You must find your own way” and the like. With Celestia trying to have Twilight try new things. Twilight tried hard to find new things. Not for herself, rather so that Celstia isn’t worrying for her. One thing aside from the obvious thing a bookworm would like. Twilight loved watching Celestia wrestling and wrestling as a byproduct. Putting two and two together she would try it out for herself. Doing some research Twilight would research any wrestling shows nearby she can participate in. Luckily a promotion was coming through her area and had Celestia herself wrestling in it. Seeing this as a great time for the both of them Twilight contacted the promotion to see if she could participate. Luckily she was allowed to. Not much worried about her performance, “How hard could it be? I just have to read up on it” Reading she did and days past. The promotion is here and the show is beginning. The bookers pair Twilight up with Celestia lucky enough, playing off that mother daughter dynamic. The audience obviously took a liking to Celestia, but surprisingly Twilight. The announcers played her off as a “school girl” “Book worm” type. The pair were up against a heel tag team within the promotion. Celestia started the match strong and dominated as expected, but the match would shift once Twilight was tagged in. Twilight was handling herself quite well actually, going blow for blow against her current heel opponent. Though Twilight is book smart not ring smart. Which hurt her, since the heel used her experience against Twilight. Twilight having no answer would try to tag in Celestia to no success. As the Heel tag team used their heel tactics on Twilight. The rest of the match would be played a 2v1 with Twilight getting demolished and eventually pinned. After the match Celestia would console Twilight saying it was okay for her first time. “Losing is a natural and common thing, it teaches more than victory” She would say. Determined not to be outdone she demanded a rematch against the tag team. Celestia this time could not compete as she had obligations. So Twilight would be paired with one of the wrestlers from the promotion. two days past and the match is here yet again. Twilight is still unaware who her teammate is. Not like it would take long to find out, as Rarity was announced. Much to the cheering crowd enjoyment. Twilight knew of Rarity, which speaks to her name since Twilight isn’t a wrestling buff. Greetings aside the match went underway, with more experience under her belt. Twilight was not done in by the heels. With the help of Rarity she would find a shoulder to lean on this fight. Securing the victory herself. The heels obviously not being happy about that attacked the two after the match. The attack would go on for a few moments before Rarity’s friends would come in to help her. (AJ,Fluttershy,Rainbow Dash) After the match the group would go out after Twilight was invited. Usually Twilight would say not to an invitation. But this time with no hesitation she accepted. Not regretting her decision she had a great time with them. Becoming fast friends, and gaining more appreciation and love for wrestling. Wanting to pursue it herself. Another invitation from her friends after a few more matches was to follow them into a promotion called law. Twilight doesn’t know what her future is yet, but right now she’s certain it is within a ring.
