Kira vs. Hikaru: Apex Qualifier

Hikaru was ready for Apex and was in another qualifier, hopefully one she would finally win! She walked through the arena halls knowing that most people around here didn't think she could do it or that she would amount to much more than wrestling untelevised matches or just the undercard of larger shows. She was going to prove them wrong and beat the heavily favored Kira.

As Hikaru's music played she came walking out into the arena, walking down the ramp as she waved to the fans who were giving her a polite applause. She had a small fanbase but knew that a big win here would help her get her name out there and make the roster take her more seriously in terms of the entire Apex tournament. Hikaru was going to show the world that she didn't simply exist to show up and lose. She could win, and she would win!

Hikaru climbed up onto the apron and through the ropes, making her way to her corner to settle in and wait for Kira to arrive.

Kira would be in her first Apex Qualifer. True she did have the WOWW Championship belt, but it wouldn’t hurt to have another world championship belt around her body. When it was her turn, Kira sauntered through the arena halls before making her way before the entrance ramp.


She came out with the WOWW belt firmly around her waist with her signature golden robe. The goddess would walk down with her raising her right and left arm up hearing the chorus of cheers and boos from the crowd. Once she arrived she untied her robe and set it to the side alongside her belt.


Kira stepped up and walked elegantly through the ropes before starring at Hikaru”you may have been big in Wrestle Angels…. But in law you’re nothing but a joke” she said coldly to her opponent as she waited for the bell to ring.

Hikaru folded her arms as she watched Kira approach. The bigger woman was also arrogant, talking down to Hikaru. Even though Hikaru expected such behavior from her opponents it never got any easier to hear. "I will put you in your place then and we will see how much you talk when that happens." Hikaru said.

The bell would soon ring and Hikaru would circle around Kira waiting to move in and try to grapple with the bigger wrestler, hoping to maneuver herself into locking in a standing side headlock to start things off.

Kira would hear Hikaru talk back to the goddess and merely chuckled”Oh ho…. If that’s the case will just have to fight!” she grits her teeth with a grin that would scare anyone who came her way. When they went for a lockup, the smaller opponent was rather fast, something Kira lacked as the former Wrestle Angel managed to put her in a sidehead lock”ugh you annoying pest! Kira groaned before aiming to elbow the woman in her bust area wanting to take a cheap shot to try and escape!

Hikaru groaned as she was hit hard by the elbow, letting go of Kira and staggering back. Hikaru rubbed her mid-section and was doubled over, a bad position against a woman like Kira. Hikaru was stunned and wide open for follow-up offense by the bigger grappler. Hikaru was trying to shake it off but Kira hit incredibly hard...

Kira would laugh as Hikaru was easily stunned by her an elbow hit. “well then, I thought facing a wrestle Angel would actually be difficult” Kira chuckled as she went to grab Hikaru by her hair and went to Irish whip her into the turnbuckle!

Hikaru grit her teeth, feeling herself grabbed by Kira. She wanted to tell her to shut her mouth but Hikaru was running over crashing into the turnbuckle back-first! She groaned as she slumped into the corner with her arms draped over the top rope. Hikaru was in rough shape already but knew if Kira got overconfident she could fight back, she just needed to find an opening to exploit.

Kira laughed as the former Angel crashed into the turnbuckle in pain!”that’s great!” she shouted as the goddess went charging at her, raising her elbow up for an elbow smash to her face!

Hikaru saw Kira coming and knew that this was it. Hikaru couldn't let this connect or she would really be in trouble. She gathered herself and rolled hard to the side to let Kira crash into the corner without hitting Hikaru. She had to compound the error of Kira so Hikaru screamed and stepped up to Kira howling as she rained down a series of forearm smashed to the chest while Kira was in the corner hoping to halt the momentum of the larger wrestler.

Kira went in like a bull aiming to squash Hikaru like a bug! Unfortunately for the goddess it was all part of Hikaru’s plan as she rolled out at the last second “DAMN YOU!! she belted out as she held her elbow in pain. While Kira was gathering herself she was left open for a barrage of Hikaru’s attacks”AHH Ugh!” she groaned and fell back in the corner as Hikaru kept sending in attacks. Kira had enough and tried to stop it by sending a fist to her opponent’s face!
