Arachne hadn't expected to be relatively deep into the Apex Event, pretty soon after making her debut on LAW. But here she was, on her third Apex Qualifier, chasing the title of Open Weight Champion with so many other wrestlers, from rookies to veterans. The villainess was snickering backstage, confident the upcoming match would be her easiest qualifier yet. After all, she was facing a Young Lioness, someone who needed plenty of extra help and training. Arachne didn't know where Courage was on her progress, but she wasn't concerned in the slightest. As usual, it was simply time to get nice and evil!

Entrance Music

And kicking off her wickedness, would be her catchy, sinister entrance theme. Arachne Widow Spyder had been announced and was now running down the ramp. She was a fast, little buggy, making it to the ring lickety split. Once she climbed inside, there Arachne stood in all her spider themed glory. A mask that made it look like she had eight eyes. A backpack that made it look like she had eight legs. It was time to start spinning the threads of this match!

Being a heel, Arachne of course didn't care what the crowd thought of her. In fact, she commonly antagonized them. Despite this, she was often more entertaining to the fans than some of them wanted to admit. "Bwahahaha!" She cackled, before addressing the audience. "It warms my black heart to see so many losers, simps, and nobodies come here to watch another jobber get all tangled up in Arachne's webs. Really, it's very flattering!" The crowd of course boo'ed her for insulting them, but this only served to encourage the spider's behavior. "Ahhh! Music to my ears! And once I have Courage screaming in my submission holds, it will be a full-blown orchestra! MWAHAHAHAHAAAA!"

"And introducing her opponent! From Hokaido, Japan!" The announcer roared as the stage was bathed in jade. A noticeable omission, he was instructed not to mention her Idol group, Courage Generation. "COURAGE! Ta-Ke-Miiii!"

The green lights spun and centered upon the entryway, heralding her arrival! She emerged from the curtains, resplendent in new attire!

No longer was Courage Takemi a singer in a bikini. Now, she wore the regalia of a genuine professional wrestler! Tonight, and forevermore, she looked the part! Once an idol, she now embraced that she was her mother's daughter, a second-generation professional wrestler! Combining her past and present, she became The Princess of Hard Work! Courage Takemi!

Courage Takemi

White boots wrestling boots led her down the ramp towards the ring. Her smooth legs were adorned by a sheer bodystocking that ran all the way up to her neck. Despite her bare skin being covered, it made her curves ever more appealing. Pulling them taut and supporting them.

She wore a tight-fitting leotard atop the bodysuit. The colors had been chosen with intent... Green, like her mother. And white, like her idol background. She was choosing to acknowledge both of those things now. Her wrestling lineage was a part of her. It left her mid-section exposed, her flat tummy on display, and cupped her heavy breasts. The leotard and stocking both split to expose the delectable valley of her cleavage. A symbol. Her heart was exposed. It was purely coincidental that the area above it was a mouth-watering temptation for fans and foes alike.

Her arms were sheathed in gloves that ran past her elbow. They added an air of nobility along with the large bow that bound her luxurious and long hair in a ponytail that swept behind her like a cape. The only things that remained from her previous look were her trademark glasses and the heart-stopping green eyes behind them.

Courage Takemi slipped into the ring across from her opponent, the curiously named Arachne. Her curiosity was sated the moment she saw the purple luchadora. Her attire was indicative of her theme, a spider. She was lithe but predatory. Slender and deadly. Her brand of evil appeared to be distinctly Saturday morning. However, she was bent towards evil no less.

"I've always been more fond of Opera, myself!" She gave the girl a genuinely sweet smile as she cut into her promo. "You can look forward to making me scream all you want, Ms. Spyder. But you're going to need all eight of your limbs if you think you're going to be able to get -me- to give up!" She threw a fist in the air! The boos that had been invigorating Arachne were now competing, if not completely overturned by, a deluge of cheers!

"I'm Courage Takemi! And this is -my- generation!" She flourished and posed as she proudly declared her catchphrase!

After the antagonistic arachnid made her entrance and villainous declaration, her maniacal cackling would be interrupted by the sound of catchy, Japanese singing. This was the theme of Courage Takemi, Arachne's opponent who would now be making her appearance. Ms. Spyder eyed the middleweight with mischievous anticipation, as the green-attired woman made it down to the ring. Soon enough, both wrestlers were inside and preparing to start this bout!

By the time Courage had finished responding to Arachne's initial remarks, the scornful boos the villainess craved for herself had been totally replaced by loud, encouraging cheers for her endearing opponent! The naughty lightweight was a real performer, and she didn't like being upstaged. So despite being intrigued by Courage's admirable dialogue, Arachne would be quick to put the spotlight back on herself!

"Well, well, well. What have we here?" The heel started, saying her own signature catchphrase, before addressing the cheering crowd. "GAAH! Wait! What is that dreadful noise?! Is that...cheering fans?! Cheers from these plebs aren't musical at all! So Ms. Takemi, in addition to the soothing melody of your upcoming cries, Arachne will now give you loser wosers a taste of real music. Haha!"

And with that, Arachne would reach into her Thorax Backpack. She carried a number of mischievous items in there, but this time she would pull out......a microphone? Yes! Arachne would tap her foot and shake her curvy hips around, while singing the following in a very catchy voice!

~"OOOOOOOOOOOOH!"~
~"In case you ain't heard, I'm a villain."~
~"Hearing your pained screams, shall be thrillin'."~
~"Don't expect any grace, nor restraint, or mercy."~
~"Unless ya kneel before this heel, and get yourself on one knee."~
~"Ya say you won't give up? Have some valor in storage?"~
~"Then Arachne will just have to drain up all of your COOUURRAAGEE!~"
~"AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!"~

Arachne's little music number caught the fans off guard, some of them even subconsciously bopped their heads to the catchy tune. This was the first time the relative newcomer had sang before a match, and it certainly wouldn't be the last time LAW heard her fire singing voice. While still on the face's side, the crowd was more hyped than ever! And after her maniacal laughter, Arachne would approach Courage in the middle of the ring. The bell would soon sound, and the match would soon start!

Courage watched the spider-girl with an amused sparkle in her eye. Sure, she professed to be evil. Her morals might be a little foggy. But her desire to be an entertainer was clear!

When Arachne pulled out a microphone her amused smile turned into a full-on grin. She backed up and made a sweeping gesture with her arms. While they shared the ring, the stage was all hers. The idol tapped her foot to the acapella rhythm of her song. More of a rap, really. And when it concluded she applauded enthusiastically!

"That was wonderful! I had no idea you could sing! If you're interested I could put you in touch with a producer!" Out of another woman's mouth that might have sounded like snark. Or like she was trying to tell Arachne that her place in the ring was something she could consider. But Courage was as sweet as she was innocent. And her offer was a strike of genuine sincerity and kindness!

The two girls moved to take their place in the center of the ring after Arachne's little diddy subsided. She put her hands up in front of her and dropped her hips slightly. A wrestling stance. Her new attire helped her look the part, but she'd received some training that help her -play- the part as well! She was a real professional wrestler now! And she was taking this match seriously!

"Come on Ms. Spyder. Let's show the world what we've got!"

*Ding Ding Ding* And the match was on!

Arachne indeed was a very swell singer, though her song was meant to further antagonize Courage and the watching audience. However, the catchy jam had a completely opposite effect. Both Ms. Takemi and the crowd clearly enjoyed the song. The middleweight grinned and tapped her foot, while several fans even bobbed their heads along! And when the song was over, Courage clapped excitedly. This enticed many fans to do the same thing, even if they stilled rooted for the idol!

This wasn't quite the reaction the Villainess of the Spider Web was going for. "AAAHHH! POISON!" The silly heel exclaimed, reacting to the praise coming from the crowd. "Arachne is still dastardly, wicked, nefarious...! The song was pure, unrestrained evil. Get angry, darn ya'll!" However, Ms. Spyder's initial frustrations began to subside, as she took in Courage's compliments. "Th-th-thank...you." She managed, clearing her throat awkwardly.

While certainly a naughty, devious, troublemaking girl, Arachne wasn't quite as evil as she claimed. And staying overly malicious against an opponent that wasn't at least aggravated with her, would be a bit challenging. The spider liked annoying people. But she also carried herself with a degree of fun, charisma, and charm, that wouldn't go lost on someone as kind and innocent as Courage. Nonetheless, Arachne quickly regained her villainess composure, and tried to antagonize Courage once again.

"Uh, I mean: Thanks for being a prop for me to step forward in the Apex Event." Widow snickered. "Indeed! Let's show the world your desecration and degradation! Mwahahaha!" And with that, the bell rang. The speedy spider immediately rushed her adversary, eager to showcase a little early brutality. She would attempt to wrap one arm around Courage's neck, with the intent to drill her head down on the mat, using a sudden DDT. Arachne's usual strategy consisted of getting her foes on the mat, where she could trap 'em in a multitude of painful submission holds!

Arachne's shouting had become so frequent that Courage was beginning to recognize a pattern. Bold and boisterous, the villainess spider appeared to be as histrionic as she was hyperbolic!

Courage gave a tiny curtsy as she was thanked. She even bothered to pinch an imaginary skirt. She couldn't help but grin stupidly as she did it. It seemed as though she was getting caught up in Arachne's cartoonish rhythm.

"Degredation? That doesn't sound like very much fun." She protested through a charming smile. "Let's have a good match instead!" She offered the alternative with all the naive optimism of a newborn baby. She even bothered to offer a thumbs up to her opponent. A nice guy pose.

The bell rang in the middle of Arachne's cackle. And it was like a switch was flicked! The purple luchadora came off the starting line with an immediacy that was impossible to match!

Courage, whose thumb was still out, was caught completely off guard! The comedic hijinks of the would-be heel had left her disarmed! And a moment later, she was on her back holding the top of her head!

"Ughh!!" She'd landed right on her crown as Arachne had intended! The momentum had carried her head over heels and left her rolling back and forth stunned!

First blood had gone to the arachnid!

Though this happened to be unintentional on Arachne's end, the spider's special brand of cartoonish, comedic villainy had distracted Courage. This in combination with Arachne's stunning speed, had left poor Ms. Takemi completely unprepared to deal with the bug girl's first move! Widow successfully brought her opponent down with a DDT, smacking Courage's head hard against the mat, as the spider aimed to rattle her foe up early. Arachne stood up with a mischievous grin, as she watched Courage clutch her noggin and roll around on the mat.

"Aww, degradation sounds like a ton of fun! Especially if your the one being degraded!" The villainess snickered. "Arachne's all for having a good match! And you being squashed, mashed, and bashed all sounds good to me!"

The spider watched carefully as her prey helplessly rolled around. And at the right moment, Arachne would aim to preform a quick buttdrop on Courage's back! From there, the spider's goal would be to pull her adversary's arms over and behind her knees. To finish the submission hold, Arachne would clasp both her hands under Courage chin, before pulling hard on it.

"Bwahahaha! Ladies and gentlemen! Allow Ms. Spyder to introduce you chumps to the first web of tonight!" Arachne cackled, addressing the crowd, if everything had gone her way. "We call this first evil snare a classic Camel Clutch!"

Her ears rang as she clutched at the top of her head. The DDT had left her rattled and moaning. Not exactly the most defensible position. And Arachne, for all of her monologuing, wasted no time in following up!

"Oof!" Her body was crushed mid-roll as Arachne suddenly dropped all of her weight butt first onto the small of Courage's back! She flattened out like... Well, like a bug! The falling attack would allow for Arachne to perfectly transition into an early submission hold! Her arms splayed out and were easily rangled and slung over Arachne's knees! And Courage's chin was hooked into position to start bending her backward!

"A-a--aaaahn!!!" Still dizzy, the pain set in slowly. But once it did, the idol-turned-wrestler let out a satisfying scream! Her eyes widened behind her glasses and even teared up slightly!

She hung helplessly in Arachne's grasp! She strained and struggled, but with her arms trapped, it did little more than cause her heavy breasts to swing and jiggle beneath her! "Ahnn~ M-my back!!" She cried out involuntarily as her young mind struggled to cope with the agony of being cruelly bent backward!!

"Mwahahahahaaaa!" Arachne cackled, having successfully trapped Courage within a brutal Camel Clutch! Her prey seemed to be left utterly helpless by the move, even letting out quite the delightful scream. "Yes! Scream, Courage. Yell for the Villainess of the Spider Web!" The sadistic lightweight snickered. "How about you be Arachne's musical instrument? Let's call this tune, 'Crying Jobber in E-Minor'! Yeah, E-Minor! Alright!"

After straining Courage's poor back a little more, Arachne would eventually release the hold, only to prepare for another move! "Arachne's got a lot of moves to show off, buddy! All at your expense of course." She continued, still sitting on Courage's back, though no longer pulling on her chin. The spider would aim to send two of her eight legs around Courage's neck, attempting to squeeze hard in a headscissors! If successful, the bug would put those strong thighs to work!

"We heard ya scream! Now let's hear ya gag!" Arachne insisted, before singing:
~"With a gag gag here, and a choke choke there! Here a gag, there a gag, everywhere a gag gag!"~

Courage's upper body flopped face first into the canvas as Arachne released the camel clutch. The Idol turned pro was left panting and clutching the small of her back!

The momentum had fallen in her opponent's favor so quickly! Her demeanor was silly, but there was nothing humorous about her technique. She moved with a smooth intent that was completely foreign to a rookie like Courage. Her holds were executed with swift precision, a thoughtless flow of suffering.

And while Courage pondered this, Arachne had already trapped her in another!

The spider-villainess's thighs were wrapped about her head! Her powerful legs squeezing her airways shot with enough force that she felt like her neck might break!

"Agh!! Ngh!!!" She couldn't even scream! She could only choke in wide-eyed panic as the other girl's relentless ground game put her in another compromising position!

Desperately she payed at the other woman's thighs! Her fingers pleasantly kneading the flexing muscles that were suffocating her! Her feet kicked, her boots pounding the canvas as she coughed and sputtered on command! Her eyes began to tear up and her face began to shift to a red shade!

*Coff! Coff!* Her eyes searched through the panic for a way put! But her field of vision was already beginning to narrow!
