Those that Heal and Those that Hurt: Doctor Fabulous vs Korra the Enforcer - Apex Qualifer

The animalistic rush towards the doctor was one of her biggest reckless moves. She was abandoning most of the planning she was used to just to get a chance to knock her out. And in one swift motion she was reminded why that was only something you used when you had to, which she didn’t. Korra’s running charge was stopped not by brute force or a skillful dogs but by a simple strike. Fabulous went low and sent her open palm on Korra’s chin, angling it so she didn’t risk hurting her hand clashing with Korra rushing at her and straightening her out of her low rush. Her running was stopped while her face was smacked chin smashing up and making her teeth grind against one another in such an uncomfortable way that Korra was stumbled backwards. She would pay for that. Once she could get her she would pay.

The palm strike nailed Korra hard in her chin and knocked her backwards, making Fabulous sigh in relief as she shook her hand once. This was her moment to get some serious offense in the match. She didn't think--she had to react. She had to keep Korra from getting offense again. She couldn't let her get on an onslaught once more. Doc Fab ran directly at Korra and then leaped up, going for a headscissors transition.

The Wrestling Professor would then swing her legs and then lock them around Korra's one leg as she wrapped around her opponent's back. Then, Doc Fab would grab onto Korra's other arm and attempt to throw all of her weight backwards towards the mat. With luck, she could surprise Korra and try to throw her back directly into the mat with a Crucifix Bomb, hoping to hit a big move on her taller opponent!

Korra was stopped and angry. When she was taking strikes like that she had to question how much she had actually done even when she saw the doctor fairly winded and worn out earlier. It wasn’t that it was a devastating strike but that she was clearly stumbled by it when she was certain she had the chance to cut loose. This entire time she had been denied any chance at punishing this one like she had others and it angered her when she found the doctor coming at her and hooking her leg before reaching out and wrapping her legs up so that she could pull on her with a crucifix. She tried to pull her off, but the way they were it was easier for Fabulous to just lean back and let her gravity do the work to bring Korra back for gravity to drop her on her head. With a big thud she bounced off the mat and spat out in pain while she was trapped by her arms with Fabulous holding her down.

The Wrestling Professor had managed to wrap herself up in Korra's bulky arms, and with a throw of her body was able to send the powerhouse down in a thunderous Crucifix Bomb! The blonde released Korra after she landed as the larger girl's body lay over her. She sat on her hands and knees, taking a breather before shoving the rest of Korra off of her and blowing a strand of hair out of her face. "Sorry, not sorry... but I know I need to keep you down," said Fabulous, the doctor knowing it would take more than just this to ensure her powerful opponent would stay down.

This time, she would grab hold of Korra and drag her by her head and shoulders towards the ropes with urgency, knowing that she didn't have even a second to spare. She needed to bust out another large move out of her arsenal to try to keep her down! Then, Doc Fab would rush towards the corner, kicking off the middle rope, the top rope, and then coming back down with her, aiming to plant her into the mat with one of her larger moves, the PHDDT, wanting to lay even more assault onto that recently hurting head of her opponent!

Things felt hollow. Korra was slow and uneasy with her mind checking to make sure everything still worked while Fabulous shoved her away to ready herself for the next attack. After all that she knew that she still needed more and once Korra was backing up she was grabbed to be pulled around and ready to be used once again. This time she was pulled by her head while Fabulous ran around to get a running start at the ropes and was soon running on them as well. By the time she was finished she had given Korra a full 360 spin of her head before she would send her down on her head to the mat with a ddt. The dizziness from the spinning and the pain that followed in her head and neck when Korra was slammed into the mat made sure that the behemoth would stay down this time. Her mind was looking for an easy counter but all her thoughts were being smothered by painful static ringing in in her head that kept her from acting quickly like she needed too.

As Doctor Fabulous continued to amp up her offense, she had swung Korra around before planting her with the PHDDT! The crowd cheered loudly for the big move as Doc Fab laid on her back, gritting her teeth and groaning in pain. Despite having finally putting down Korra, she was still feeling the effects of their match and needed a moment to breathe and just center herself again. Putting a hand on the mat beside her, Fabulous pushed herself back up to a sitting position, grimacing. She had to move, and she needed to secure her win.

The Wrestling Professor would then grab hold of Korra and start to drag her muscled form into the middle of the ring. Then, without hesitation, Fabulous would pull up Korra's front half and then wrap her up, aiming to lock in her Anaconda Vice finisher, the End of Session! With that move, she knew she could use the lightheadedness from Korra and try to amp up the pressure on her head and neck with the move! If she could lock it in and cinch the move in tight, she knew it was her best chance to get the win now!

Korra was not getting up anytime soon after taking a ddt like that. Her head hurt and before she could even begin to figure out how bad things were she could feel Fabulous moving towards her after a moments rest. Once she was close enough she grabbed her arm and started to pull her it back into an anaconda vice! Korra couldn’t really move as fast as she wanted but she could still fight back. She turned her head to resist Fabulous’ attempts to pull her head against her arm and trap her while turning with her legs to try and stop the submission from being locked in. All of this served to get an opening to send a punch to the doctor’s head to surprise her and create a moment in time she could turn this back on her.

Doctor Fabulous had her shot and she knew she needed to lock in the End of Session and get her best shot at winning this match right now. Korra wasn't an opponent she could give a lot more rope to win. She grabbed hold of those strong limbs, trying to pull them into the submission, gritting her teeth as she felt her burly opponent fighting back, shaking and trying to manipulate the hold into place--but then she was suddenly hit in the head with a hard punch. The Doctor's head snapped to the side and she looked light-headed for a moment.

With a quick shake of her head, Doc Fab decided to go for broke. If Korra was going to keep playing rough, Fabulous could do it just the same. She sent rapid-fire side elbows to the head of Korra in retaliation, desperate to wear down her opponent once more and tough through that bit shot she had just taken. And after enough came, she tried once more to lock on the End of Session, hoping that was enough that she could apply the hold onto her beastly opponent!

The moment she punched the doctor Korra was dead set on escaping. There was no time to do anything and ever move she made had to count. She pushed against Fabulous so she could slide back and get out when she started to act again by rushing at Korra and trying to elbow her in the head creating another splitting pain sensation when she tried to escape. Korra felt her adrenaline run through her in a panic and knew that once Fabulous was done she would go back to what she was trying before. She couldn’t block these hits and her head was killing her. So the only thing to do was attack. Korra grabbed the elbow and would attempt to pull her legs up to trap her head while straightening out the arm. The only thing that came to her mind was to go for a triangle choke from the floor and see if that would be enough to stop Fabulous while choking her out and ending the rampage to her head.

Doctor Fabulous scowled as she was blasting Korra in the head with elbows, determined to lock on the End of Session--showing off more of her violent side as well. She felt she was close to getting her bigger and strong opponent to relent, and if she could lock it in fully, she knew she could pull off the win right there. The wrestling psychiatrist would continued to fight her way closer... until Korra grabbed hold of her arm and then with effort, started to pull it! "Grrr... Ahhhh...!" cried out Doc Fab as her arm was pulled straight and then a triangle choke was applied.

The Wrestling Professor was sweating, exhausted from this match and now being held in the triangle choke. She grunted and gasped, briefly trying to fight back. She had exceptional training in submissions. She could fight out. She could fight back. She ran the options through her mind and then started on the next one, using a burst of strength to push her body forward and then Korra's body back as well, planting her free hand on Korra's shoulder as she pressed her down for a pin! She could sneak out a win here or at the very least force Korra to release the triangle choke. Either would be a success!
