Cheryl Williams vs Megumi Mutoh - Apex Qualifier Match

Cheryl's kick was fast and hit what she was looking for, the problem came from Megumi taking it like a champ and catching the leg after it hit. "Shit." Cheryl muttered. She tried to pull her leg away but Megumi caught it with the arm she didn't work on and she hooked it perfectly, Cheryl wasn't getting that leg free without doing something else, something she dind't ahve tome for with Megumi already seeing her plan through and throwing her down with a dragon screw to twist Cheryl's and leg and send her to the mat.

"Haahh!" Cheryl screamed as she hit the mat with a twisted leg. The whiplash was bad and hitting the floor on her side meant she failed to catch herself causing her head to tumble to the floor at an angle that made the whiplash worse while her leg was twisted by the screw to put Cheryl in a bad spot, just when she felt she had Megumi the genius reminded her that her experience was still the key factor in this match.

Megumi managed to take Cheryl down with the dragon screw takedown. With this, she would be able to press her advantage over the cheerleader despite her hurting arm. While Cheryl was down, Megumi decided to go for a high-impact move in which she would run towards the ropes, looking to use them as a springboard to launch herself into the air before performing a breathtaking flip in the air.

Megumi was trying to hit the downed Cheryl with a springboard moonsault, giving herself extra boost with the ropes before landing on top of the cheerleader. If she was successful, she would try to pin Cheryl, reaching out to her leg using her healthy arm.

Cheryl was taken down pretty once she was on one leg, the takedown forced her to the floor where Megumi would follow up on her attack by going to the ropes and going for springboard while Cheryl was still down. Cheryl didn't know what she was doing and was too busy trying to get up quickly to notice, by the time she was up on her feet Megumi was in the air and falling towards Cheryl. She was fast but she didn't have the reaction time to get out of the way of Megumi's flying body.

"Aagghhfff!" Cheryl screamed falling back down as Megumi slammed into her, with Megumi's chest landing on Cheryl's face and flattening her off the impact. The ringing pain let Megumi move in for a pin while Cheryl laid there.

"ONE!"
"TW-!"

Cheryl still managed to kick out, though she was still stunned by the moonsault, and only able to kick out and keep herself in the match but do nothing about potentially getting into something else. Cheryl knew she just needed to make sure the match didn't end or she would be in trouble.

Landing right on top of Cheryl with a springboard moonsault, Megumi immediately went for the pin, though the cheerleader managed to kick out. Letting out a grunt of annoyance, Megumi would pick herself up, forcing the cheerleader to get on her knees, planning to continue with her attacks on her.

"Alright, I guess I need to soften you up a little bit more, huh?" Megumi said as she would stand next to Cheryl after pulling her up onto her knees. Then, she would throw a kick right at her chest a few times, looking to devastate her before capping it off with a full roundhouse kick targeting the side of the cheerleader's head.

Cheryl didn't intend to be taken out so quickly after a strong start, even if the moonsault had taken a lot out of her. Megumi was annoyed enough to pull her up to her knees, placing Cheryl in harms way before she would start throwing kicks towards Cheryl's chest.

"Guugh! Uggh! Ngguugh!" Cheryl groaned, her chest flattened and her books shaking with each big kick from Megumi while Cheryl wobbled on her knees. None dropped her, but Megumi's last kick aimed for her head instead of her chest. "Gaaggh!" Cheryl screamed falling to the side and dropping right on the mat after the kick hit her just behind the ear, with enough force to to feel like she was trying to knock her head off.

Megumi managed to knock Cheryl down after hitting her with a series of kicks. Standing over the downed cheerleader, Megumi panted as she tried to catch her breaths before she bent down, grabbing Cheryl by her head. She would guide her head towards her legs, stuffing it between her thighs, putting her into a standing headscissor.

After that, Megumi would wrap her arms around her waist, looking to hoist her up and hold her upside down, having her head pointing down to the canvas. Adjusting her grip around the cheerleader a little, Megumi would then drop herself onto her knees, bringing Cheryl head first onto the mat with a piledriver.

The kicks knocked Cheryl back down, head spiraling internally while she tried to make sense of herself and get back up to her feet. Megumi wanted to help her up herself, pulling her by her waist and bringing her close enough to pull into a standing headscissors before she would try to lift her up. The next move would be devastating for Cheryl if it hit so she quickly tried to fight back. Her legs would kick at her face while her arms moved to grab the arm she had been targetting and tried to pull it off so she could get free.

If she was dropped and able to land on her feet from breaking the hold Cheryl would grab Megumi's legs and try to trip up the veteran so she could roll through and go for a pin attempt by sitting on her while holding her legs up.

When Megumi was about to lift Cheryl up before dropping her head first into the mat with the piledriver, the cheerleader fought back, kicking at her face as she held her upside down, and Megumi had no choice but to let go of her, wincing in pain as she would try to regain her bearing.

As for Cheryl, once she was released, she then tripped Megumi down, and Megumi was brought down, back first onto the mat. It happened way too quick for her, and when she finally registered what actually happened, Cheryl was already on top of her, going for a pinfall attempt, holding her legs up as she did so.

"ONE!"

Eyes widening, Megumi would try to kick out, though the referee managed to count up to two before Megumi managed to break the pin. "TWO!" At the moment, Megumi was in quite a precarious spot, and Cheryl would be free to take advantage of this.

The roll up had Megumi surprised and trapped while Cheryl hoped to secure a real win to further herself in LAW. It seemed so close, but just after the two Megumi forced her way free and threw Cheryl off her. Cheryl fell to the side and felt frustrated, but one look at Megumi told her that the brunette was still feeling worn down. Cheryl had a clear advantage and that meant she had to use it if she wanted to win.

"Yeah I knew it was optimistic to think that would get you, but this might make it easier next time." Moving back towards Megumi she would grab and force her down before pulling on her arms and slowly cranking them back into a cattle mutilation submission hold. Wearing down Megumi more and more with a barrage of submissions that her athletic background helped her get locked in.

Despite kicking out after two, Megumi was still reeling from everything that she had taken, and this would allow Cheryl to continue capitalizing on her situation as she went to put her into a cattle mutilation. When Cheryl started cranking pressure into it, Megumi couldn't hold back her scream of pain.

"GYAAAHHHHH!!!"

Trapped in the cattle mutilation, Megumi tried to endure the pain. She had undergone much worse before, having been literally covered in blood, both from herself and her opponent's. She wasn't going to let herself submit to this sort of thing, even if it was painful. She continued enduring the hold despite all the pain that he had to go through.
