Tara Kwan vs. Raquel Masters (Apex Qualifier Match)

Raquel watched in shock as Tara was digging deep! Raquel was in shock as Tara had out-classed Raquel in flying and agility thus far absolutely crushing Raquel with her flying springboard offense! The loud smashing sound of Tara hitting Raquel's chest coupled with her hard impact on the ground along with subsequent scream of pain left Raquel laid out and motionless on the ground. Raquel was reeling again having her momentum completely halted by this surprise counter of Tara.

Kicking off of the steps was perhaps the most spectacular move Tara had ever unleashed in all her time within LAW - a sign itself of just how serious the Korean was taking this fight!

Landing roughly regardless of how much of the impact Raquel took, Tara took her time in soothing her wounds as she slowly moved to her knees. With her hands to the nearby barrier, she'd use that to prop herself to a stand before wobbling her figure close to Raquel's own.

With a simple hook of both hands underneath Raquel's armpits, she'd see about dragging her lightweight foe to her feet, before heaving her in the direction of the ring. Hoping to have her roll under the ropes as to get this match ring-bound once again, Tara herself would follow suite, with her figure sliding beneath the bottom rope as the count neared reaching its final quarter.

The seemingly lifeless Raquel was dead weight, rolled back into the ring underneath the bottom rope with the red-head making some groaning sounds as the only real signs of life escaping her. Raquel flopped to a stop on her back inside the ring, still motionless and unmoving aside from the rising of her chest as she drew breath with Raquel appearing to be down and out. She was conscious and struggling to keep up with how the match had gotten to this point. She had no idea where Tara was and was wide open on the mat with barely anything left in her tank.

Tara had Raquel in the ring soon enough, with Tara's feet upon the apron not a moment after, but the Korean didn't hold interest in sliding through the ropes. Instead, where the ropes were firmest - directly besides a turnbuckle - Tara would grasp on. Eyeing up Raquel as she lay prone near centre of the ring, Tara's intentions were apparent as she loudly began to goad her foe into rising. For what she had planned was for a standing target!

As the moment Raquel was to her feet, ideally in a stupor with her front soon pointed at Tara, the Korean would pull herself yet again with that frightening athletic ability of hers. To have her feet atop of the top ropes, before she sprung off them!

With her arm extended, as she looked to bring Raquel right back down to earth with a phenomenal forearm!

Raquel was hurting and a bit embarrassed by how hapless she had looked during a dominant stretch by Tara. The lightweight began to stagger up hearing the crowd cheer. She knew that had to be for Tara, and she had to be doing something big. As Raquel looked she saw Tara spring and fly right at her. If this connects Raquel knows she will be in trouble. Raquel fought through the pain and moved to the side while raising her leg up hoping to smash Tara with a knee strike using the flying grapplers momentum against her! Raquel could only hope she moved fast enough to avoid that forearm entirely though because any sort of hit from that was likely to send her sprawling and totally out.

Tara was already airborne by the time Raquel had risen - so needless to say there was nothing the Korean could do as it became apparent Raquel had prepped a counter.

Save for scream!

Something she did by the bucket loads, as Tara's bellows were followed by the rough meeting of midriff upon knee!

Cut out of the air with a gutbuster the likes of which couldn't be described, Tara would hit the deck in a heap and then some. Hands shooting to her now crushed waistline, with her lungs having completely emptied from the mid-air collision, all Tara could do was cough and splutter in some vague attempt to refill her lungs!

Raquel was hurting and clearly in bad shape but her strike against Tara was just what she needed to grant herself a window of opportunity. Now it was up to Raquel to grit her teeth and take advantage of this. Raquel rose to her feet and made sure Tara was laying on her back. Raquel hit a big strike and now it was time to do a bit of flying herself! Raquel ran towards the ropes and attempted to leap up landing on the top rope instead of the second rope, flipping backward off for a high altitude springboard moonsault on top of Tara to compound the pain she was feeling in her torso!

If she was successful Raquel would stay right on top of Tara and reach down to hook a leg pinning her shoulders to the mat. Raquel had to keep hammering Tara while forcing her to expend energy all while Raquel herself bought time to recover.

Flat to the ground with her eyes near forced out of her head, the sounds of Raquel sprinting across the ring made Tara shudder albeit there was nothing the Korean could do. With high risk came high reward, but Tara wasn't to see the latter with her failed jumping elbow. Nay, she only saw the cost of trying such a move at the wrong time, as she briefly brought back her hands from her bare waist. To bare witness to a purely red stomach!

Moaning given the pain was quite frankly as bad as it looked, it was to grow all the worse as Raquel returned back to the Korean. With momentum to her airborne frame, there was nought the Korean could do against the quickly descending heel - even had she not taken the time to check on the state of her body, she was too breathless to move!

Albeit she was even more so now, given Raquel saw fit to try and effectively splash the life out of her!

With her leg hooked promptly afterwards, as the referee swung in for a pin that nearly brought about Tara's defeat in pristine manner!

A pin that was barely broken free by the Korean, who effectively tried to shift the entirety of her body to the side to heave Raquel off of her!

Raquel thought she had it but Tara kicked out and Raquel rolled off, staggering up to her feet. She shook her head and pulled Tara up by the arm. Raquel kept hold of that arm and let out a howl as she tried to smash Tara with three fast mid-kicks to her abdomen! "Stay down damn it!" Raquel shouted as she looked to soften the feisty Tara up with the strikes. This match was a tough one to say the least with Raquel scrapping, fighting as hard as she could to pull off this win. Tara was not making it easy by any means, and she was sticking out as one of the more tenacious women in LAW from what Raquel had seen!

Tara was quite limp by the time Raquel heaved herself up to her feet, pulling the Korean with her if only to keep her steady. For a barrage of kicks right to the gut!

Waistline concaving with every strike given, Tara's effort to push aside those kicks with her other arm flopping were completely in vain. By the time Raquel was done, the pinkette was near enough hanging by her arm, with her eyes fluttering as if she was barely awake!
