Float like a Butterfly, Crawl like a Spider (Arachne vs Cassie)

After the butterfly fell right on the spider, said spider was quick to turn the situation around. Arachne pushed Cassandra off of her. And she got up first, before putting Cassie in a standing headscissors! The hold was tight, as Arachne opted to choke her fellow bug girl! "Muahahaha!" The villainess cackled, but Cassie wouldn't be trapped for long. "Hey!" The spider protested, as she felt her adversary shove her away.

"You're really defying your inevitable role of Arachne's prey? HehHehHeh." Arachne snickered. "Well have at you then!" The spider heel rushed full force at Cassandra, attempting to lock up. Since the two heavier lightweights were around the same size, Arachne felt comfortable grappling with her. Widow would try to push her opponent, all the way to the ropes behind them!

“Well miss predator, Im not your prey! .. do spiders eat butterflies?”

She questioned, very curiously. Having broken out of Arachne’s webby lock, Cassandra narrowed her eyes. She’d place her hand against her waist, meeting Arachne’s eyes..

“Okay! I’m done playing around, you venomous villainess! I’m gonna break out the big guns!”

She’d grin, patting her muscles. Cassandra slapped her admittedly muscular arm, and then she’d grin. Racing towards Arachne, she’d lock up with the venomous lady.. and quite easily get pushed back! It didn’t really seem like Cassandra was trying to push Arachne, but just as she was starting get closer and closer to the ropes.. Cassie clasped Arachne’s wrists! She’d pull Arachne towards her, ducking down and pushing her back against his waist.. and then she’d flip up, judo flipping Arachne down to the ground with a ruthless move!

“Hiyah!”

"Of course spiders eat butterflies, you ding dong!" Arachne snickered, plowing into her opponent. "Those big guns don't seem to be helping you very much. HehHehHeh." The heel was referring to how easily she seemed to be able to push Cassandra back, after the two lightweights locked up. Arachne was on the stronger side of the lightweight division, but apparently so was Cassie. Unbeknownst to Ms. Spyder, Cassie wasn't pushing back on purpose, setting up for her next move!

"Now you shall-WHAT THE...?!" Arachne's boast was cut off, when the butterfly suddenly gripped her wrists. She then flipped the villainess over for a judo slam! "OW!" The spider cried, before taking the punishment, managing to get back on her feet. "Blasted hero!" Pushing past being shaken up from the judo slam, Arachne darted at Cassie. She would attempt to get revenge on her adversary, by aiming to lift her up and slam her for a german suplex!

“I shall win..! And after that, sing on top of your pinned down figure!”

Said Cassie. It was the best insult that came from her head at that time, peering down at Arachne right after she had flipped her on her head for a judo slam. She’d giggle lightly, leaning forwards and poking Arachne with her foot, just to check how she was faring. She was about to follow up, but suddenly..

Arachne struck. She darted at her like a shot from a pistol shrimp, Cassie instinctively guarding her face for a possible strike there; but.. instead, she’d feel Miss Spyder clasp her arms around her waist and take HER for a ride!

“W-whoa!” Her eyes widened, Cassie was slammed down into the canvas, her head thunking against the canvas as she’d crumple down there, stunned by Arachne’s retaliation!

After being nailed with a judo slam, Cassandra apparently didn't think the spider would be fast in getting back up. Cassie even felt comfortable enough poking the downed villainess with her foot. So imagine her shock when Arachne sprung to life, and performed quite a mean German suplex on her!

"Mwahahaha!" Ms. Spyder cackled, turning around to see the butterfly downed on the mat. "That won't be enough to leave Arachne down for the count!" The heel indeed could take a lot of punishment and keep on kicking. Things were only just getting started!

Now that the butterfly was on the mat, the spider would quickly make her next move. Arachne attempted to pounce on her prey's back, before aiming to ensnare her follow bug in a painful camel clutch! If successful, Arachne would have Cassie's arms bent back over her knees, while the spider pulled hard under Cassie's chin, straining the heroine's back!

Rolled onto the mat, Cassie groaned rather lightly. Her hair lay across her forehead. The german suplex had done a little number on her and she wasn’t sure how to feel that she had fallen for it!

.. but Arachne wasn’t done. She perched herself onto Cassandra's back, cupping her throat and lifting her head up, stretching her out in a painful manner. The blue butterfly gasped, feeling her arms locked back over Arachne’s knees, eyes widening.

“A-ah..! This Blue Butterfly isn’t going to give up even when in your cruel web, Arachne Spyder..!”

She’d grunt. Cassie prided herself in her ability to give out crippling submissions. She had rarely been on the receiving end of many, and while pain itself wasn’t foreign for her by any means, her debut having been particularly bloody with her taking a chair shot and knee to the face.. submissions hurt in a different way altogether. But.. she’d grunt softly, and then shake her head a bit to test Arachne’s grip on her chin..

“D-do your worst.. my justice shan’t fall!”

"We'll see about that, Arachne's webs are unescapable, unmatched, and absolutely eeeeviiiiil." The spider said back, playing off Cassie's heroic dialogue with pleasure. The villainess adored it when her opponents responded to her villainy in a heroic fashion. And it made it all the more satisfying to bend, smother, and crush them!

When Cassandra shook her head to test to grip of the bug's on her chin, she'd find the hold was pretty secure. As silly as Arachne acted, her submission expertise was first-class. And there wasn't a single flaw in her form! All it seemed the butterfly could do was endure. But said endurance would eventually pay off, and convince Arachne to perform another move.

"Time to switch webs!" Arachne announced. "Got another one to spin for you! HehHeh." The heel would release the camel clutch and stand up, only to reach down for Cassie's legs. If all went her way, Ms. Spyder would start spinning a different web and trap Cassie in a Boston crab instead!

“Well you eeeevil webs aren’t gonna bring down this butterfly!”

Although.. Cassie found something quite irritable. The fact that Arachne’s lock was airtight, and al she could do was endure it for as long as she could. The beautiful butterfly grunted lightly, her mind flying.. she needed a plan! But before a plan, what she needed.. was an opportunity.

She knew what she wanted to do.. and she winced at the mental image. As soon as Arachne stood to switch spots, Cassie yelped out a quick “sorry!”

Before rolling onto her stomach, still between her foes legs. Her spine still ached and she wanted to do nothing more than to lay there.. but she was stubborn and powered through. She’d suddenly sit up, clasping Arachne’s legs and putting them on her shoulders.. and the powerful lightweight hauled herself up to her feet with Arachne on top! Disoriented somewhat, Cassandra poised herself towards a turnbuckle.. took two steps forwards.. and fell forwards.

And Arachne fell with her. If all went well.. the villainess’s head smashed right into the pole with a rather painful sounding “Thunk!”.

By enduring Arachne's Boston Crab, Cassandra brought herself a window of opportunity to fight back, as the spider would attempt to change submission holds. Arachne was planning to use a Boston crab next, another one of the classic submissions. But Cassie wasn't just going to simply let her!

"Mwahahaha-WHAT THE?!" Arachne let out, as Cassie managed to surprise her. The butterfly avoided another submission hold, by standing up right between two of the spider's eight legs! When Cassie was on her feet, she had Arachne in a piggyback let position! "Hey now!"Arachne protested, but it was too late.

Cassandra wobbled towards a turnbuckle, before intentionally falling forwards, smacking the villain's head against the hard corner post. "OW!"Arachne let out, having taken a critical hit. Ms. Spyder was seeing stars. She could takes lots of punishment, but that didn't mean she was immune to the effects of having her head bashed onto a hard surface. So at the moment, she laid disorientated, vulnerable to a potentially smothery follow-up from Cassie, given the match's stipulations!

The move just executed by Cassandra was.. unorthodox to say the least. Even though she was one of the more skilled people she had ever met, she was increasingly beginning to realise..

That training and moves didn’t seem to matter THAT much in a fight. Don’t get her wrong, she believed they did.. but there was always a chance her foe knew what was coming. The moves she had done to her that weren’t so common were the ones she was troubled with the most, and vice versa when she did them.

She’d look at Arachne, who was on her back. Miss Spyder felt her legs held and pulled back, brought into the middle of the ring. She was promptly rolled over, Cassie taking some care to make sure her spider legs weren’t bent.. and then, she allowed herself a smirk, looking at the dazed face.. and just as Arachne’s vision was starting to come into focus..

“Why.. how nice of you to join us! Time for you to go back though..

Back to sleep!”

She’d exclaim. Cass was right on top of Arachne, a smile on her lips. She’d lean down, clasping miss Spyder’s hands, and suddenly.. quickly yanking her upwards, smushing her face against the butterfly’s booty!
