Background: Growing up in southwest Michigan in the United States, Betty West was always considered a tomboy. She threw herself into brawling and scrapping at an early age, but never out of real aggression. Betty has an odd sense of fun and loves to both get and give a good beating. As a teenager, Betty got into the local music scene, throwing down in every mosh pit she came across. As she got older, she dabbled in combat sports, mostly as an outlet for her physical energy, but also because she loved the power dynamics that came with them.
In college, Betty became an avid wrestling fan, and took classes in nearby Chicago and Detroit to learn the ropes. Even putting in some time in some grungy, backyard wrestling groups, Betty lived and breathed the squared circle. Far from stupid, Betty planned for the future, eventually getting her English degree and applying to teach English overseas. However, her ulterior motive for traveling abroad was to apply to LAW and become a professional wrestler with a real organization!

Training & Style: Betty has beginner training in actual pro wrestling but has also worked for one year as the bouncer at a local lesbian bar. Betty has also done some fitness-based kickboxing courses and got in many fights with boys and girls growing up.
Betty’s style is straight brawling, focusing on punches and kicks to soften up her opponents before she lays into them with the bigger stuff, such as body slams and snap mares. Betty likes to have some drinks before a match, bolstering her confidence and dulling her sense of pain (and adding to her in-ring persona). Aggressive and domineering, Betty is not very focused on defense, and will sometimes look to soak and endure attacks while trying to land her own blows. High-flying, acrobatic wrestlers totally confound her.
Experience: One years’ experience as a professional wrestler in American indies, a year as a bouncer, two years with the backyard wrestling group.
Signature Moves:
Body Shots: Pulls opponents in close, hitting them with a hard knee to the belly. If she has the energy, Betty delivers numerous shots to stun her target.
Hop Slam: Betty delivers a running Bronco buster to an opponent; if she has a beer available, Betty will chug it while delivering the attack.
White Claw: A rake to the belly or back, usually done as a counter before transitioning to harder moves against the opponent.
Specialty Move- White Girl Wasted: Taking a stunned opponent, Betty will put her back against them while holding their head over her shoulder. If available, she will grab a beer, and force them to down some in that position before dropping them with a stunner, usually resulting in a pretty spectacular spray of booze and giving them something to choke on, in addition to the devastating move.
Favorite Match: No DQ, Falls Count Anywhere, Street Fight

Attitude: Betty is fun-loving and irreverent, and a party girl. She fights to win, and hates losing, but doesn’t take things as seriously as maybe she should. Confident and spunky, Betty won’t back down from challenges, and it’s hard to get her to take things too seriously.

Crowd Reaction/Fan Base: Betty’s party girl persona wins over a lot of fans, but the lengths she can take it to can also rub fans the wrong way. Regardless of whether her opponent is a fan favorite face or a reviled heel, Betty will greet them with fists and profanity flying, so sometimes the fans will react to her based on their feelings for whomever is facing her abuse, that night!

Most feared/hated opponents: “Pfft, are you kidding?”
Biggest Win: “Whatever my last one was, bitches! Onward and upward!”

Trivia & Fun Facts:
- Despite her punk demeanor, Betty loves teaching. While she keeps up a good front, she will grill her students for new trash talk and insults when there are no other faculty around.
- Betty misses the lively craft beer scene in her home state, like, so much. She will not hesitate to blow a simple majority of her pay, from wrestling and/or teaching, on importing her favorite brews over from the States.
- Her time as a cute chick hanging out with garage bands and backyard wrestlers convinced Betty that she’s a capable, if not talented, singer. This is a lie.
