Her mother tried to defend him and climb higher in the company to change the image of the man who helped her, but she was also discredited for being a "prostitute in denial.”
This sparked hatred and resentment in Ash. How could the supposed representatives of good values in wrestling not care that a wrestler was permanently excluded from competition just because he was a heel, denying him the chance to compete in other matches because he participated in controversial matches? There was only one way to calm this down: unmask the false idols of wrestling. To do this, she trained hard and relentlessly, guided by her godmother, her mother's teammate, to reach her full potential. Soon after, she would debut in an indie promotion with a ghost gimmick, a way to honor her father, and prospered for a while as a dominant heel until she was approached by a talent scout to join a group that was aiming for the big leagues. She accepted and quickly joined the team to further hone her skills. The goal was L.A.W., which was fine with La Fantama. It was the perfect place to start exposing the truths about certain "heroes" who were hiding.
