As a little girl, Eva Maria Chimalhua del Rosario grew up fascinated with lucha libre. She and her cousin Liliana would daydream together about becoming wrestlers themselves when they grew up. They talked about it so much, that their parents humored them in their own way. So Eva's journey into becoming who she is now began back then, in a gymnastics course. Her parents told her that if she really wanted to become a luchadora, then learning acrobatics would help her jump and flip like the very best!
So she committed to the classes, doing her very best to learn each skill. Unfortunately that was as far as her parents were willing to support her, other than going to meets and on the rare occasion even some actual matches. Even her cousin had moved on from that dream, but Eva stayed determined. She worked out on her own and would consult forums, sometimes even the wrestlers she met at events. Of course... the answer was staring her in the face this whole time. A wrestling school! She had to beg for it, but her parents eventually caved and helped her pay for the school. Finally! She's on her way!
She had a bit of a clumsy start, but her previous training in acrobatics and her private workouts paid off! Not only that, she was learning that the world was more than just lucha... pro-wrestling, olympic sport, PURORESU?! She had barely scratched the surface. Coming out of that school, Eva was a changed woman. She had a goal now: see that world. Become an amazing wrestler and clash with all sorts of different fighters. It's going to be so much fun! Only one last thing... she needs a name, and her father was actually the one to help her realize who she was.
Ever the history buff, her father ended up quoting this at the dinner table: "Of all the Aztec gods, the Feathered Serpent, Quetzalcoatl is known best above all. It predates even the Aztecs themselves, appearing in other cultures before them." Quetzalcoatl... a feathered serpent. Soaring through the skies, defying its own nature of staying to the ground. That was it.
She went into the indies as La Quetzal, but that name went through changes... Quetzal Linda... Eva la Quetzal... Eva Quetzal Linda... Quetzalinda... Quetzali.
Eva Quetzali. The first time she actually used that name, her family had come out to finally see her for the first time. They knew how much this meant to her, and decided together that they would be there to cheer her along all the way. In fact, it was her own sister who offered to be her own personal designer from then on, coming up with the amazing outfit designs you see now!
It wasn't long until she was turning heads left and right! Exactly the kind of aura that bigger corporations like Leviathan Inc. were looking for. She fit in that scene like a glove, she thrived even! Wins, losses, friendships and even rivalries! She was finally starting to get a real taste of the pro-wrestling she watched as a kid! But of course, that was only the start.
She started from the dirt of Mexico where she belonged, and now she rises soaring high into the skies of LAW in Japan thanks to the good word of one of her Leviathan friends.

Personality
Despite all the hardwork and effort she's put into herself to get this far, Eva isn't chasing for glory or status. She's here to have fun. Fight the good fight and put on a show that everyone can enjoy — her, her opponent, and the fans watching. She isn't afraid to try something new either. New people and new experiences, she sees them as new opportunities. Friendships, rivalries, you name it.
Of course, she understands that it isn't always sunshine and rainbows. Drama is bound to happen and sides are split to be chosen. Eva wears her heart on her sleeve, and is driven enough to stand by her beliefs. She has the motivation and the determination to take a stand and fight against those she thinks are deserving of being taught a lesson.

Strategy: Strike them down, hit them with a power move or two, and set them up for some eye-catching high flyers! It never hurts to have a little fun with them too. I mean with curves like hers, you gotta showboat to the crowd a bit!

- Sofia Chimalhua: Her older sister and fashion designer! She's the one responsible for all of Eva's amazing outfit designs.
- Oscar Orelash: a friend she made at Leviathan after almost breaking his friend Ulla's arm. It's a long story, let's not get into it. After that whole incident, Oscar and Eva got along well and became good friends. In fact, he was the one who recommended she give LAW a shot!
