Personality: Changes between being La Mariposa and Lisa.
Lisa is a calculating, intelligent woman…but is a bit of workaholic. As she works with LAW, she also balances out her life by working as a researcher at a Biology University…as well as her own manager, and travel agent. Despite her business, she is a very approachable person, even if it seems like she mostly looks out only for herself sometimes. As Lisa, she is also quite a conservative person in terms of her clothing.
Mariposa is an extremely extroverted, friendly, loud, playful and exciting person, looking to excite and entertain the crowd with there being very little line to what she won’t cross to get the crowd cheering. Unlike Lisa, can be very provocative and sultry towards her opponents and with the crowd (though won’t go so far as to strip herself or her opponent on purpose, or hurt her opponents beyond what she needs to win).
The one common line the 2 personas of the woman share is their pride and confidence. Whether in the ring, or waiting or booking the match backstage, no matter the opponent, she doesn’t just feel or believe she is going to win, but she knows she is going to get the W. And while a win excites the woman beyond doubt, tasting defeat has been known to put her into periods of bad mood for days and weeks…and for important matches – months at a time.
Past/History: Lisa Hamilton was a girl of many talents at school. As she did well in science and maths classes, she did just as well in athletic activities such as Volleyball, Football…and even Pro Wrestling. In case of the latter, she had the best training imaginable, enrolling in Bass Armstrong’s wrestling school in Los Angeles, being best friends with his daughter at school. While she didn’t take to Armstrong’s very powerlifting based style, Bass had plenty of friends who primarily performed on Mexican and Caribbean circuits, and they were more than happy to teach the young teenager what there was to know about the very fast paced style of Mexican Wrestling.
But, as Lisa’s school life ended, and as she finished her classes off spectacularly, with success came scholarships, and wrestling had to take a backseat.
With the quality scholarships she received, and with her own efforts, she managed to get a PhD in Biology in just 3 years and get a job at a DOATEC organization. With the woman now having more free time, she chose to dedicate it to her favorite hobby, participating in indie promotions, and from time to time, even helping with teaching up and coming wrestlers at her local wrestling school.
On one fateful day, however, she discovered that the company had found a way to receive extra money beyond what the government was providing it. Namely – letting criminal organizations use their chemical labs for whatever they wanted…which naturally meant production of drugs such as meth.
The company would offer her a ton extra money to keep her silent about the scheme, and, blinded by greed, she took it.
Though at first the decision felt like a right one, the longer she was at the lab, the more she realized how incorrect her decision was. She eventually saw the mob bring kids with them to the lab and sending them away with bag full of drugs. Slowly, but surely, the woman’s morality was getting back at her, and she wanted to blow the whistle about the operation more and more…
Until a journalist would expose the company, and after 2 years of Lisa working there, the company was swiftly shut down. All employees were questioned about the scheme. Some were threatened, some complied with it. Lisa managed to lie her way around to convince the police she didn’t know anything about the scheme, even though they felt something fishy about Lisa’s involvement with DOATEC.
However, by the time the police finished with all the questions, the woman discovered that the mob was still in full operation, including the former bosses of DOATEC, as they managed to find another place to use as their lab, while using a small-scale wrestling promotion as part of a money laundering scheme. While at first, the brunette didn’t think much of it, the day she saw a teen selling meth to homeless kids was when she drew the line, and she became determined to take the mob down…
Still, it would’ve been incredibly suspicious to use her real identity. As such, Lisa would cooperate with the LAPD, and infiltrate the promotion as a Luchadora La Mariposa, managing to mask her past as a DOATEC employer with the help from the police.
Although a laundering scheme, the company was getting good talent and good bookers to their company to make it seem legitimate. And, to keep up with the act, Mariposa would give her best in each and every match she partook in, while stalking the venue halls by night, trying to record the evidence of the mob’s shady deeds…
Eventually, some tongues slipped, and Mariposa garnered enough evidence to shut the promotion down, getting thanks from the LAPD…but, likely, some enemies as well. Not all of the syndicate was caught on that day…
With Mariposa amassing good notoriety in the indies, Lisa decided to keep up with the act, wrestling all across the world under her persona, while Lisa Hamilton acted as her manager…
…and, eventually, she found her way to Japan, where she found a twofold opportunity, as both a wrestler, and a researcher, signing with a promotion of LAW.
Wrestling Attire: Attire 1: Red-and-gold crop top with feathers on the right strap, black-and-red pants, ankle boots, a sleeve with feathers, a matching glove, a choker, gold body sequins on her décolletage, and a mask with orange feathers and braids.
Attire 2: White-and-pink chrome bikini with a fringed skirt, a pair of stockings, pink chrome boots, an arm- and wristband on her left arm, a sleeve on her right arm, a choker, and a mask with a butterfly on the front.
