Wrestling Information

Strategy:
Bebe is a textbook glass cannon. A glass cannon loaded with feet. Her kicks are extremely fast, powerful, and damaging, but she’s not quite as good at taking the damage, especially from traditional wrestling moves that she’s unaccustomed to withstanding. Her skill with grappling moves is also quite limited, having just enough to get by, and her submissions are simplistic and mostly just involve scissorhold variations. Her goal in a fight is to overtake her enemies with offense early on, pile it up quick, and use that to get ahead in a fight.
Style: Tae Kwon Do
Type: Striker

Preferred Attacks: Kicks, Scissorholds, Suplexes

Preferred Matches: Standard, Last Man Standing

Endurance:★★★ - Is decently tough, considering her profession, but tends to fight in a more cautious fashion.
Strength:★★★★ - Not the bulkiest fighter, but in good shape, and her legs are quite powerful.
Speed:★★★★ - Fast on her feet, good footwork, quick enough to frustrate slower opponents.
Defense:★★ - Does her best work pouring on the pressure, less so when it’s pouredon her. .
Technique:★★★ - While a skilled fighter, she’s still lacking in proper wrestling techniques, and has yet to refine her wrestling style.

Wrestling Statistics

Strikes:★★★★★ - Stiff, frequent, and powerful. Loves kicks in particular.
Submissions:★★★ - Has a few good moves here involving her legs..
Powerhouse:★★ - Has a decent range of suplexes, but rarely goes that direction beyond needing a takedown.
Aerial:★★ - Has inherited some of her father’s basic aerial moves.
Counters:★★★ - Good at turning attacks against opponents and reversing the momentum of a match.

Signature Moves:
Machine Gunn

With a stunned opponent, Bebe moves in and hits them with a flurry of hard kicks with the same leg, targeting the chest and head in tandem.
Question Mark
Image
Bebe throws a weak kick at her opponent’s midsection to throw them, then hits them with a much harder side kick to the side of the head immediately after.
Garotte
Image
A figure-four headscissor, applied from the back. Thanks to Bebe’s leg strength, this move is quite potent.
Finishing Moves
The Twister
Image
Her father’s old submission move, and one of the most complicated submissions she knows how to execute as of right now. With Bebe’s opponent supine on the mat, she steps between their legs with their own left leg in her grasp. She wraps that leg at shin level around the other leg, then crosses the legs around her own right leg. With the legs held in place, she then grabs the leg which she’s crossed over the other and steps over her opponent, flipping them over into a prone position before leaning back to compress their lower back.
The Tornado
Image
Bebe spins around and hits her opponent in the face with a full force heel kick to the face.
The Hurricane
Image
With an opponent rising through the air, Bebe comes from the corner, leaps into the air, spins several times, and comes down on their neck with a devastating kick.
Characteristics
Personality
Bebe oftentimes comes off as a little stuffy in comparison to the rest of her family. Growing up amidst wrestling royalty, she stuck out as the ‘boring one’, one of the only Gunn’s without some bombastic persona. In truth, she’s actually not that bland of a person, and can be rather fun once you get to know her. She’s just a little shy and low-key, and doesn’t have much patience for silliness.

To that end, she tends to have a rather low opinion of wrestling as a sport, viewing it as more of a carnival spectacle than anything to be taken seriously. She takes her work seriously as a fighter and doesn’t like to mess around or play inside the ring, which is part of the reason people see her as being so stuck up - whenever she’s on camera, she’s always the no-frill, serious version of herself.
History
The Gunn family is wrestling royalty, going back all the way to the earliest days of the sport in the United States. In the 1950s, Tommy Gunn was one of the most well-known and respected grapplers of his time in the midwest, and he would go on to be the template for an entire line of wrestlers, all following the Gunn name. For decades, every single child born in the family would either be a wrestler, a manager, or have some kind of tie to the wrestling industry.

That all came to a screeching halt with Barbara. Born to Tommy Gunn III, she seemed to take an immediate dislike to wrestling from day one. While she was athletically gifted, she didn't have patience for the theatrics of wrestling, being a more serious child than her siblings. As time grew, she wound up drifting into more ‘serious’ combat sports, excelling at taekwondo. This put her at odds with her father, who was adamant that she at least give the family business a try before writing it off, but his protests fell on deaf ears, and it didn’t help that he was less than accepting when she came out as homosexual.

So it was, perhaps, inevitable that Bebe would wind up splitting away from the family when she came of age, traveling abroad and gaining fame on her lonesome. It wasn’t an easy path, with many of her opponents quick to dismiss her as some sort of rebellious daddy’s girl just looking to prove her father wrong. But she not only succeeded, she excelled, picking up an impressive international win record that eventually led her to the Olympics, where she went on to win a bronze medal in Tae Kwon Do. It seemed like she was on the fast track to a long and fruitful career outside of the squared circle. On a personal level, she fell in love with an old friend from high school, Mina Kynes, and started a serious relationship with her. It seemed like she was on the path a lucrative, fruitful

That changed, however, when her father was diagnosed with lung cancer. Despite their estranged relationship, Bebe came back home and put her career on hold to help take care of him in his last year, and the two of them grew closer in that time than they ever did in her childhood, making up for lost time. It was during this year that Bebe came to terms with her father’s legacy, and made a promise to him - after he died, she would try pro wrestling for at least one solid year.

She agreed, and after his passing, she sought employment with one of the biggest names in the country where happened to be residing when he left - LAW.

The rest of this story has yet to be written.

Fun Facts:

+Doesn’t really like the name ‘Bebe’, but everyone calls her that, so she’s just gotten used to it.
+Just about everyone in Bebe’s family is either named after a gun or has a nickname for one. Proud family tradition.
+Despite her rather rocky road with wrestling, Bebe has a good relationship with her siblings, Tommy and Minnie. Both are stateside wrestlers, but are considering a trip to Japan to dip their toes in the waters.
+Her girlfriend has a big foot fetish, and convinced Bebe to start up a foot-themed Onlyfans. It’s fairly tame, but oddly successful.
