Strategy & Style: Joanna is very intelligent and a really good tactician. Because of this, she doesn't limit herself to just a few simple moves, always changing her approach to her opponent as the match goes. Which means many would have a really tough time battling her. The only thing that does not change is that she is an honorable fighter, always keeping things clean, not wanting to stoop so low as to use dirty tactics. She is graceful and elegant with her style of fighting, using counters to guide and knock attacks away from her body, and then countering with her own. Her knowledge even covers hentai and can use a vast number of sexual holds and techniques. Joanna tends to take her time and experiment and research on her opponent, although it is mostly because she loves finding out what makes them tick, finding out their strengths and weaknesses. Personality: Joanna is a very serious and strict high class member of nobility. One would also say stubborn as once she has decided to do something, she'll do whatever it takes to get it done. Also a bookworm, you would mostly see her reading a book in a quiet corner. Joanna is very proud and confident in her abilities, not letting insults faze her one bit. Joanna does believe in the mental aspect of a fight and tends to consider her matches with newer opponents as 'experiments'. Think of Relius Clover from Blazblue but a lot more nicer and tolerable.
Past/History: Joanna is part of family of nobles in France, with a husband and a daughter, one whom she loves dearly. Both Joanna and her husband enjoyed the life of a noble, as you would expect. But secretly, they both have a passion for fighting. Neither member of the nobles do however and think of something like that is undignified, but they both saw the elegance, the grace, and beauty of it. Her husband got into wrestling and Savate and Joanna, being the bookworm that she is, studied almost every style of fighting, including martial arts. Joanna also have a PhD in Psychology, always have been interested in human behavior, what drives them, what brings up certain emotions. She believes this carries in fighting as the mental aspect can determine the fight itself. All was good until a mysterious fire burned down the mansion and most of the clansmen living there. She escaped. Her husband however did not, and her daughter have been missing. But as the sole Blanctorche, she now lives with her butler.
Nobody in the world knows this except for her and the butler. And a certain other redhead...
After mourning her late clansmen, Joanna steels herself to find her daughter again. On her journey, she continues with her experiments, finding herself in one tournament with the next, winning all. Every match she has, she makes a note on her journal for a paper she is writing herself. While finding her daughter is a priority, her passion for fighting never left her, keeping on for her late husband

-Joanna never keeps the belts and championship cups that she has one. Once she wins it, she is known to just throw it away, letting the one that she beaten keep it. She believes that winning itself it more satisfying than any gold or title.
