Since before she was born, professional wrestling was baked into Juniper's very being. Being the daughter of two talented wrestlers, her life often revolved around the ropes and unforgiving canvas of the squared circle. She didn't know it yet, but Juniper Flores was a part of a wrestling legacy. Her father was a fairly accomplished mid-card talent with a sizable following in New Mexico, but her mother was part of something bigger. She was one half of a tag team known as Gemini Steel, the culmination of a long-running dynasty of wrestlers made up of Juniper's mother and uncle, who achieved great heights with their synergy as siblings. Needless to say, Juniper had a lot of history embedded into her that she wouldn't be able to comprehend until her teenage years. Of course, growing up in a wrestling family, it was only a matter of time until Juniper hit the mats and got to grappling. She didn't need to be bitten by the wrestling bug or fall in love with the sport through some fairytale means. Wrestling was coded into her blood from the beginning. The moment she opened her eyes for the first time, her mother could tell that she had that fire within her.
Of course, Juniper came to realize the weight on her shoulders sooner than her parents expected. The next daughter in a long line of wrestlers getting ready to make her debut? The pressure was unbelievable. For the longest time, Juniper shirked settling on a debut date, never feeling the time to lace up the boots for real and tackle such a monumental task. When she finally did debut, she did so as Juniper Flores, an unknown smart-mouthed talent with a knack for busting egos and lips alike in the same visceral fashion. Slowly but surely, Juniper built her OWN legacy on the indie circuits, having decided to spend her formative years working on herself and EARNING the right to join that so-called legacy her mother's side of the family always harped on about. She had a great deal of respect for it, but she didn't want to fall into the trap of coasting on the coattails of those who came before her. If she was going to be the next link in a long chain of greatness, she had to showcase that she wouldn't be the chain's weakest link. After capturing her first singles title in a big indie promotion and defending it for well over a year, she felt ready to show the world who she really was.
And when she returned to the squared circle half a year later...following a much-needed break and wrapping up her college studies...she returned as Juno Steel, the Prodigy and refined heir to the "Iron Legacy" and all its infamy. Of course, all that smarmy talk of legacy and refinement was just for show, as Juniper was still the same smug, snarky, sassy young woman who knew how to tear someone down physically and mentally. She was a fan-favorite to hate while bullying the crowd's beloved, flavor-of-the-month indie darling.
To Juniper, there was no task too great and no opponent too grand for her to take on. Win, lose, or draw, she would carry the legacy she was born into on her back and across the finish line every single time, giving it one-hundred-and-ten percent each time that bell rang. To Juniper, wrestling wasn't just a legacy...it was her LIFE, and in this life, she would dedicate her whole being to becoming the best.
Personality: Juniper could best be described as a "shit stirrer", often chiming in on conversations with a gleeful level of sarcasm and blunt mockery, paired with a bit of instigation to rile people up. Always the snarky type, Juniper isn't one to mince words or bite her tongue, save for a few select scenarios. While a good friend to those who know her well, her attitude can often come off as abrasive and detestable, leading crowds to root against her, but Juniper has taken to using this hatred and contempt as fuel and armor for her smack talk. Be it a heinous bully or a beloved hero, Juniper will openly trash whoever she is wrestling, even going so far as to throw shade at the spectators, making herself out to be public enemy number one at any and all times. Typically, such a display would call for just about anyone to get their butts handed to them, but a talent like Juniper had the skills to back up her less-than-pleasant words.
A savant in the ring, Juniper is no stranger to the ins and outs of the 'family business' of professional wrestling, knowing just about every trick in the book needed to win. No matter the opponent, Juniper seeks to crush them thoroughly in mind, body, and spirit, never holding back in competitive matches. After all, in her eyes, if you can't cut it, maybe you should find a different line of work and stick to playing make-believe...better to leave the REAL thing to professionals like her. That cold, calculated nature of hers lends well to all sorts of mind games, with her silver tongue belying her true skill. Once the mental war has been won, it's only a matter of time til her opponents crumble in her clutches.
Outside the ring, Juniper can be fairly approachable, albeit sassy all the same. When she's not working her tail off, she prefers a relaxed environment and a good book. She's secretly a huge lover of cats, so much so that seeing her interact with one feels like a dramatic shift in her character. Of course, she'd never let anyone know or see this, and if they did, she'd make sure they wouldn't remember well enough to speak about it.

Strategy: Juniper's plan of attack consists of mental warfare, stiff strikes, and targeted joint submissions with a few slams baked in between maneuvers. When the ball is in her court, she prefers to assault her opponent with surgical precision, limiting their mobility and draining them of their endurance. Juniper plays to her strengths and tries to make the playing field as advantageous for herself as possible. Though she refrains from cheating, she will not hesitate to capitalize on an exhausted opponent, sore limbs, or other weak points. If it's legal, it's fair game in her eyes. Her preferred moves often involve holds and slams that leave her opponent feeling frustrated, adding to the mental games. An irritated opponent is a sloppy opponent, after all.
