Maya IS THE REASON why Speranza has. Maya got so mad at Speranza that she almost lashed out but had to keep calm and not draw suspicion. They were done eating anyway, so she up and left after saying goodbye.

Maya knows she can land another job in time, but she was so pissed off at Speranza. Oscar, the leader, was going to propose to Maya as well. The virus wiped out everything, but everyone who didn't get shot for the cult was brought into questioning. Maya got away free with what she did. Fernando was pissed off about this. Maya did get a banking job. She could talk to Speranza, and Speranza did reach out to her, but she never replied. Only when she appeared in VOW did they meet again. She was pissed off, and they hatched out their problems the way their mother used to with other wrestlers. In the ring.

After that they talked and gladly reconnected. Maya eventually left wrestling again and even got some titles in Vow. She went on for her career with smart investing. Her net worth is in the multi-hundred million range. After re-steaming herself in wrestling and hentai just in case, she applied for law.
