Lena is a force of nature, unafraid to stand out and unapologetic about her desires. She's a woman who walks into any room with confidence, her presence commanding attention. She’s bold and headstrong almost to a fault, and would never shy away from any tough challenge or hard work if her mind is set right to the task. To her there’s only one mindset about things: either do it or don’t, but beating around the bush isn’t something she would do and it’s also something she dislikes when she sees it in people. Cowering isn’t something she would do either, and is very eager to respond to a personal challenge or an insult in an intense way.
Despite this hotheaded and brash exterior, Lena isn’t oblivious to empathy and has a kind heart to her. First impressions might lead people to think that she’s just brash and unpolite, but her straightforwardness is only part of her authenticity. When warming towards someone Lena would go all the way in her attempts to help that person, all without losing her style. She’s the kind of friend who openly states an uncomfortable truth, but she does it to help her friend get their shit together and not to hurt them, and expects reciprocity on that kind of treatment.
Lena’s intensity and energy transpires to everything she does. She’s very active and outgoing. She loves partying hard and the excitement of crowded loud places. It is common to see her on a free day going out at night and working out at the gym, which is one of her biggest hobbies, during the day. However, when she’s at home she can get to be quite mellow. She is an absolute flirt and her style doesn’t indulge in coy hints or subtle gestures. When she has someone in her sights she just goes for it and speaks her mind, leaving no room for doubt. This straightforwardness can startle some people but for those brave enough it can be quite endearing. After all, same as with all things in her life, when dealing with Lena what you see is what you get and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Concerning her career as a wrestler, Lena is as authentic as she is out of the ring. She tackles each daily challenge head first, always seeking her next match, but also has the mind of a long-term worker. She has ambition and wants to use wrestling to show not only that she is fierce but that she can shine and earn some accolades and fans. This doesn't mean she doesn't pursue thrill or excitement when wrestling. In a world where she didn’t completely fit she found in wrestling the perfect place for her to be. She also knows the importance of unwinding and enjoying herself. As she likes to put it, the day she stopped enjoying the hell out of a brawl or a sexy match would be not only her last day as a wrestler but the last day she felt alive.
History:
Lena Knox always thought that she was a big fish in a too small tank. From a very young age she could feel that she didn’t fit in the small town she was born and raised in. The only thing keeping her alive and making her feel relief from the constant constraing of societal and familiar expectations were martial arts, to which she devoted entirely. While other girls were conducting their studies and developing in other ways, Lena was known for her explosive attitude and for getting into fights. Soon after becoming of age it was clear to her that she wasn’t going far in that town and she wanted to make something big, so she left home as soon as she could.
Wandering around the country, Lena started earning some bucks at underground fight clubs. Before she could even notice she was crossing the line between actual fights and a mix between fighting and sexfights, becoming pretty popular in that scene. She loved it and knew she could do something great with it, but the life of a wanderer wasn’t a comfortable one and without a platform supporting her she wouldn’t be able to make a name for herself. Luckily for her that was about to change when LAW contacter her and offered her a job, a stable place to live in Japan while she fought against the best of the best to reach the top. It was too good an offer to say no, so the next thing Lena knew was that she was settling in Japan to become one of LAW’s wrestlers.
