Fighting Style: Callista has a background in dance and gymnastics to pair with her theater experience, and her abilities translate well to the ring. She has good size and strength, but her greatest feature is her grace and athleticism, which she uses to athletically move around the ring, utilize the ropes and turnbuckle, and sail toward opponents for takedowns. Once she has taken opponents down, she applies her limber body skillfully to tangle them up in various holds that are debilitating. She lacks in striking ability, but her versatility makes up for this omission.

Personality: Calista Petridis is a dreamer at heart. She's always believed in chasing what makes her happy, and for a while, that optimism carried her through almost anything. But life hasn't always gone her way. A string of setbacks and failures made her question herself, and while she’s still hopeful, her confidence has taken a few hits. Even so, she’s not the type to give up. Wrestling has given her a real sense of direction, and with the League of Anime Wrestling showing interest in her, she finally feels like she’s on the right path.

She’s friendly and easy to like, which helps her backstage and with fans, but sometimes, that same friendliness makes things harder in the ring. Calista struggles with being too hesitant, too trusting, or not finishing a match as aggressively as she should. Still, she's determined to get better. She trains hard, studies her matches, and keeps pushing herself to be more than just a likable underdog. She knows the league believes in her, and she wants to prove that belief isn’t misplaced.

Calista’s a hopeless romantic. She gets caught up in daydreams about love and always finds herself imagining “what if” with people she bonds with. She’s the type to see potential for something special in almost anyone who shows her kindness or attention. It’s gotten her in trouble a few times—mixing up feelings with friendship—but that side of her isn’t going anywhere. She’s always going to look for connection, both in the ring and out of it.

Pre-LAW: Calista Petridis spent most of her childhood bouncing between two worlds. Her parents had recently relocated to the United States from Greece, where her father was offered the chance to take over a family bar started by his grandmother. But the move wasn’t permanent, and the family often traveled back and forth between the U.S. and their home in Greece. Calista got used to meeting different kinds of people and learning how to communicate quickly, but she never felt like she had roots anywhere. She didn’t know what she wanted to be or where she fit in until a school trip to New York changed everything. A chance visit to a Broadway show sparked something in her, and from that moment, she knew she wanted to act.

After that, she convinced her parents to let her stay in the U.S. full-time for high school. She joined the school’s theater program, took gymnastics, and tried out different dance classes to help her with stage presence. Long flights between countries had given her a love for movies, and she set her sights on becoming a film actress. Her parents were supportive in spirit, but financially, they couldn't do much. Acting schools were expensive, and she didn’t get any scholarships. Instead of going into debt for something she couldn't afford, she stayed home and began working full-time at the family bar, still hoping something would break her way.

For a while, she felt stuck. She worked shifts, kept up with her craft in small ways, and waited for a door to open. That door turned out to be wrestling. A talent scout for a small local promotion saw her doing a casual gymnastics routine at a park event and was drawn in by her athleticism and the way she lit up when talking to people. He invited her to attend a wrestling show, and she was hooked immediately. The characters, the storytelling, and the emotion reminded her of theater. She began training soon after and quickly adapted to the physical side of things.

Calista created a persona inspired by the fey characters from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, bringing an ethereal, unpredictable energy to the ring. Her background in gymnastics, dance, and acting gave her a unique edge, and she became a favorite in local and regional promotions. That’s when the League of Anime Wrestling reached out. They saw her as a fresh face with a striking look and obvious charisma. Calista hesitated at first since some of the League’s content wasn’t quite what she’d imagined when she dreamed of being a star, but the opportunity was too big to ignore. She saw it as a way to build her name, grow as a performer, and maybe even get closer to the acting world she’d always wanted to be a part of.
