Background:
One might think Sophia had a tough upbringing, but she actually had a normal family. It wasn’t a wealthy family by any means, but Sophia lived well-enough as her parents earned well for the part-time jobs they got when she was born. Her parents had her young when they were both 16 (mother) and 18 (father) so they each had to cycle through many paychecks to take care of their daughter. However, when it was finally time for Sophia to enter into school, her mother homeschooled her while her father went to college and became a professional track star. Her father was picked up by a national team and that brought good money in to keep a stable income.
Sophia’s mother eventually worked as a guidance counselor for where she went to high school and always had her mother or brother babysit Sophia during the day. When Sophia reached 13, she enrolled into middle school, but it was all overwhelming for her since she was mainly taught by her mother’s family. Sophia often got bullied and this is where she learned to fight which resulted in her getting suspended from school quite a bit, but once she got to high school, her mother always kept a watchful eye on her and ate lunch with her to help keep her out of trouble. Sophia joined the school’s amateur wrestling team and proved herself as a capable fighter able to take down boys and girls of tall statures. Her coaches were impressed and she carried her school to many local championships.
When Sophia turned 20, her father gave her some money and she moved out into the world getting a job as a tattoo artist while also attending wrestling school. She found her calling in professional wrestling after some of her friends introduced her to it and used her background well for practice sparring. Sophia absolutely hated promo classes and rather use her fists for talking, but she’s pretty decent at them. In 2017, Sophia debuted on the indies and performed around Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky mainly before moving up to Canada to make some appearances. When World Frontier Pro Wrestling opened its doors at the beginning of the year, Sophia signed on for a three-year deal and now, occasionally visits Japan and LAW to make appearances for both promotions.
Personality:
Sophia takes her villain role seriously and is manipulative choosing certain people that could get her far. She’s a bit of a bitch and isn’t remorseful when she betrays those that become her allies. Sophia is simply all business when it comes to wrestling so she advises opponents to watch their backs around her before she thrusts in the metaphorical knife. Outside, Sophia loves art and is very expressive meaning she’s able to have very vocal conversations about art. She may even paint some nails with wrestlers who she becomes close friends with and won’t betray.
Wrestling Style: Sophia loves to work matches technical and hardcore. She is very focused in the ring and it’s hard to catch her off guard unless opponents match her pace and overwhelm her. When introducing weapons, Sophia doesn’t hold back and some people will find a steel chair clobbered over their back or find themselves powerbombed hard through a table or two. Sophia also doesn’t mind cheating to get her way in matches.
Preferred Matches: Due to her deal with appearances between both promotions, she only wants to do standard, tag team, triple threat, fatal 4 way, and stipulation matches. No lewd matches at all.
Extra Trivia:
-Sophia actually recreated the Mona Lisa and hangs the portrait in her bedroom as a trophy for her skills.
-Sophia is straight, but has dated women before. She has said she may be bisexual, but has more thinking to do.
-Sophia owns her own motorcycle and uses it to travel to shows that are in close distance.
-Sophia has a golden locket that has a picture of her mother and father inside of when they were teens. It reminds her of the journey her parents went through and she wants to mirror them.
-Sophia’s favorite subject is history and she can recite timelines of World War I, World War II, Vietnam War, Korean War, Cold War, and the Iraq War.
-Due to her focused approach in the ring, Sophia can be creative with her entrances and combos.
