History: Lacey's just your average, all-American girl next door. Nothing too much to say there! She didn't come from a lot of wealth, and her family struggled with the burden of work to get by, but even when she knew that, as their only child, she was going to one day be responsible for their financial support, she wasn't deterred - her upbringing taught her about the value of hard work and commitment, and it was engrained in her from an early age that no one succeeded in life without putting in the effort. Still, she was ready to take those responsibilities on, and she was all the more motivated to succeed in order to do right by everyone counting on her!
It did take her some time to find a niche she could fit into, though. After a string of failed jobs left her questioning what she was good at and where she belonged, Lacey was left wondering what to do with her life. She was fired from one such job, working as a cook in a restaurant, when she had a chance brush with destiny. It was that day that World of Women's Wrestling, a prominent independent all-female wrestling promotion, was in town for a show, and Lacey, on a whim and out of curiosity, decided to attend, hoping it could take her mind off her worries.
It did that and more. Lacey quickly found herself drawn to the grace and dynamism of wrestling, and she was sucked in by how the greatest wrestlers could rally the entire arena behind them, drawing on the love and support of fans of all walks of life. She had never really paid much attention to wrestling, or a lot of sports for that matter - she was never the most tomboyish and viewed wrestling as the pursuit of big, dumb meatheads with nothing better to do, if she was going to be honest. It never occurred to her that women could wrestle, let alone be so successful in doing so! But that struck a chord with the down-on-her-luck girl, and she realized that she just might have a chance to make it in the wrestling business. Not only could the revenue help her sustain herself and her family, it would also attract a devoted fanbase, something to make her feel important and wanted - which especially appealed to her when she was feeling increasingly isolated from her peers, who she couldn't help but compare herself to, finding herself seeming so much more insignificant and hopeless by comparison when everyone she turned to seemed so much happier and more successful.
After a lot of training, and filling out some paperwork, Lacey was ready to make her in-ring debut as a member of the WOWW roster! While she didn't have a lot of background in wrestling, she was on her high school track team, which helped her build endurance and conditioning, and had trained in gymnastics in her youth. It was because of this that she realized she would be able to fit into the sport as an athletic high-flyer, the very sort of wrestler that had caught her eye for how they were able to entrance the crowd and show off their acrobatic skills, performing moves just as incredible to watch as they were effective. It didn't take long for her to endear herself to the audiences, too - everyone loved her cheerful attitude and her showy style, and she was all the more encouraged to play to them for it. The more she threw herself into her career, the more Lacey fell in love with wrestling, and especially with the way her fans came out to support her and cheer her on! She didn't always win, but she kept at it even when she lost, knowing that her adoring fans were always counting on her to do her best!
After entrenching herself as a fixture of the WOWW roster, Lacey grew to prominence as one of the top female free agents in the American wrestling scene - which, naturally, drew the eye of promotions like LAW. When she was given the offer to go to Japan, Lacey couldn't believe that she had grown so big as to go international with her act. But she was willing to reach for the stars all the same! If it meant she was going places, she would be there!
Personality: Lacey attracted the nickname "Everybody's Best Friend" through her time in WOWW, and it wasn't for nothing. She's a naturally friendly and sweet-natured person who always seems to have a smile on her face in public, and it's those qualities that endeared her to many of her fans. She cares about everyone who comes out to see her, and she's determined to do right by them, whether that's through impressing them with her wrestling moves or winning the match for all of them - hopefully both! As such, she spends a lot of time reaching out to her fans and is active on social media and in public outreach, making appearances for press tours and autograph signings, and when she comes to the ring, she's always trading high-fives and hugs to her younger fans. For those she does get to know personally, she also takes it on herself to be around for them, wanting to give them support and to cheer them up when they need it.
That doesn't mean Lacey doesn't struggle some times, too. There's a dark side to her fan-favorite image, and she has a tendency to put a heavy burden on herself to live up to people's expectations of her, taking shortcomings and failures especially hard and blaming herself whenever things go wrong. If she feels like she let her fans down, she's the type to feel personally responsible. This is a major source of anxiety for her, no matter how hard she tries to put on a happy face for the world. She's also a workaholic and has been known to neglect her personal well-being in the pursuit of doing the best she can in her professional career, fearing losing the resources to sustain herself or the goodwill of her supporters if she fails. But she's all the more motivated to do her best!
Trivia:
- Lacey is a good cook, and she makes most of her own meals when she has the time to. She was fired from her previous job for struggling to keep up with the demands of customers during busy hours.
- Lacey's image is important to her, and she takes care to keep everything as family-friendly as possible (at least, as much as she can given her employer). She wants to be wholesome and a good, upstanding role model, and she makes it a point not to swear or be caught in bars.
- That being said, she is secretly a bit of a party girl and enjoys drinking, as well as occasionally partaking in marijuana and other drugs. She will never, ever let this come to light if she has any say in it.
- Shopping is a bit of a guilty pleasure of hers, and she's somewhat of a hoarder when it comes to clothes, shoes, and miscellaneous trinkets.

Fighting Style: Lacey lives to win over the hearts of the fans, and as such, she favors spectacular moves that draw big pops from the crowd, particularly when it comes to high-flying. While she isn't the most physically durable, she's highly mobile and focuses on evading offense rather than powering through her opponents' moves, and she works a lot of flips into her moves to add some extra flourish. She isn't the strongest either, but she focuses on quick attacks to whittle down her opponents' stamina rather than taking them out with fewer harder-hitting moves. Sometimes, she can get caught up in her showmanship, which can lead to her neglecting protecting herself or making mistakes that can leave her vulnerable to her opponents, but she hopes that she can make up for it with hitting hard where it counts.
Favored Match Types: Lacey is open to most kinds of matches, as long as she can entertain the crowd! Because of her squeaky-clean image, she's reluctant to take part in anything too bloody or suggestive, but she's eager to get her name out there and establish herself on the LAW roster just as well as she did in the indies.
Signature Moves:
