Name: Yan Nu
Age: Nineteen Years
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 122 lbs

Ring Performance:
Strength: 2 / 5
Speed: 2 / 5
Defence: 3 / 5
Endurance: 3 /5
Technique: 4 / 5
Yan Nu prides herself on being rather noble and respectful in the ring, at least when it comes to opponents she considers worthy. The conditions to qualify are up to her discretion, of course. However, should her opponent not meet her standards, she'll be quite vicious in an attempt to prune the league of the unworthy. She won't cheat but she'll get pretty close utilizing rope holds and even cutting her submissions just short of her opponent tapping to prevent them from escaping their just punishment. She's a Heel in most regards.

With a more refined Moveset, Yan Nu will focus on submissions and setting those up. She'll avoid slugging her opponent, choosing the carefully placed chop or throw to eventually wear down her opponent for an easier submission. Her holds can vary from the simplest to the complex. Her specialty and preferred way to end a match is with a Lotus Lock, likening the image of the Lotus to herself.

As for what Matches she prefers, she'll stick with the regular ring or of there is something classier for the arena, she'll be fine with that. As for special conditions, she's fine with additional rules as long as there is a sense of elegance in them. Nothing crude like metal cages, street weapons, etc.

She is overall very competent in a match. She lacks Weaknesses. She is younger and doesn't have a whole lot of experience though but she's resilient to never give into pressure. Fighters with styles that are very untraditional will definitely catch her inexperience off. She's only trained in proper wrestling techniques and the unexpected moves from even an inexperienced fighter can catch her off guard.

Personality:
Yan Nu should be a hardened and drilled professional and for the most part she is. However, she considers herself superior to most but those that display elements that she respects: organization, refinement, and strength of character will find her more accepting of them. Those that don't, won't get any time of day from her, treating them almost like NPCs or background characters. A smug sense of satisfaction from her will come from putting those she considers beneath them in their proper place and is extremely liable to taunt and flaunt around those she considers unworthy.

Yet there is a fate worse than that treatment and those she considers against everything she believes, she'll actively oppose them. She'll consider them intruders into her life and make moves to get them out of her life.

Outside of others, she remains focused and ambitious. She wants to bring honor to family and ascend to great heights. She's organized, methodical, and intuitive. If it wasn't her training in wrestling, her extensive education could easily land her any job. She's a prodigy, through and through.

Biography:
Born in Nanjing, China, Yan Nu was the only daughter in a martial arts family. Her older brother was already on the path to being trained to be a master but Nu wasn't going to let him advance without her. She demanded her parents teach her as well. Since the discipline was strict with a male-only class, her father and brother decided to teach her various moves in their free time.

Perfection was demanded in the family, however, and the casual training soon became quite demanding and serious. She wasn't taught the same martial arts but instructed on a derivative that didn't rely on brute force. In fact, it was more of an art form with a focus on grapples. Yet the moves aimed at just releasing your opponent. In her spare time, Nu expanded her knowledge to figure out how she can make it hurt, developing submissions from her style of fighting.

That became Nu's focus as submissions had an easier time handling an opponent. A well maintained submission hold could end a fight faster than simply throwing them around. It wasn't out of a malice that she learned them but when she advanced to training in her middle school age. She joined a girl's league to further develop. Her first match against some snotty poor girl had been crushing, embarrassing. The other girl wasn't even that good! Thus her desire for submissions grew and she looked to add particularly painful ones to discourage opponents from even trying. She felt very satisfied later getting that girl to submit with one of her submissions. She chased that feeling a little, looking to eliminate those that were quite insignificant and didn't show any signs of talent.

Now out of the junior leagues, Nu seeks to expand her abilities and conquer new opponents.
