Wrestling Information
Wrasslin’ Style: Evelyn is fairly comfortable in all parts of the sport, whether it's on the ground, throwing down or taking flight. However, she loves to get admiration, work a crowd and incorporate that into how she goes about things. So, she likes to use the ropes and corner for some flying offence. She can bring momentum when she wants to, always light on her feet, from being flashy and snappy, sneaking pins and submissions. One might not expect it, but she's fairly good at the whole grappling thing. Like, unexpectedly decent when trying to worm out of holds, applying them and defending against them. Call it experience. Or, call it just protecting herself. She'd like to go in this sport for a long time. So, best not to take a harsh beating.
Strengths: When it comes to being well-rounded, she's got that pretty solid. Her ability to keep on you and show that competitive grit when pushed is what makes her a pro. She got some flips to dazzle and knows how to make it just as effective. One of her greatest strengths tends to be the grappling bit. Simply being capable of holds, tying you down, wearing you out. The bread and butter of wrestling. She learns. Then puts it to work.
Weaknesses: Easy to say that Evelyn isn't the most sturdy frame, easily stunned by slams and doesn't carry that aggression to really maximize her experience and move set. She may not be weak-minded, but she is reactive and works herself up easy over pain or straight bullying. Fright is often a limiter. She doesn't have a mean bone yet to dance as hard as she needs to. It means she doesn't last too long in submissions. Or -- much at all.
Signature Moves:
The Six Shooter:
- This is a very flexible move, mostly defined by a series of chops and leg kicks before finishing it with a spinning lariat, where she blows the end of her finger gun afterwards
- Step-up pump Kick
- Sprinboard moonsault stomp
Liar’s Gambit:
- Corner walk backflip DDT
Backstory
Evelyn grew up in San Francisco. She had a comfortable middle class life, her mother a teacher and her father a policeman. Wrestlinf was a fairly early infatuation, where she practised moves on a giant stuffed teddy bear she won at the fair on her sixth birthday. Outgoing was one of her staples. She liked doing EVERYTHING. Martial arts, outdoors club, a bit of ballet and in middle school, chess! Her main motive behind everything was usually to make tons of friends, even if she didn’t REALLY love the activity. After all, trying it helped her know what she liked, what she didn’t, and she dropped those interests for new ones.
This made her school life fairly cosy. Evelyn was sweet, highly social and bubbly. Her grades were just fine, making her popular amongst teachers and other students alike. She had a neat way of putting herself out there, garnering attention and putting it on herself. You can say she shined best, where she liked doing presentations, talking at assemblies and even took up the role of class president. She was the drama girl. That was her main talent. Always shining with improv and she put a little extra gusto into her performance. It’s this, as time went by, that some began to dislike her. This happy miss-perfect attitude. They called her Miss Fallacy. It’s true, somewhat, that she likes putting her best foot forward. Try not to be tired. Or grumpy. Or mean. Smile whenever she can and try to do her days as best as she can. So -- to them, she chose to take that moniker and make it her own.
High school rekindled her wrestling obsessions. She wasn’t spectacular, merely making it after two others dropped out. But -- she put her heart into it, put it over her other pastimes, except for drama -- and gained a unique charisma when she competed. Always gave a finger gun to her parents. They always dish one back and together they go “bang!” It became like their signature hello, good luck, good job and goodbye.
She could never really win. But, she seemed happy to keep trying. Her parents were supportive of it. They liked her happy and smiling. The lengths they went for her future helped a lot, with a trust fund to help kickstart her life. They accepted the fact Evelyn might use this to try and go pro. Instead, Evelyn dipped towards college for mathematics in San Fran. It wouldn’t last long. Evelyn’s mom was diagnosed with ALS in her freshman year. Struggles at home started there. The unease. Her dad took extra time off, with bills piling up as a result. And so, Evelyn quietly dropped out of college to help more at home. She even helped to cover bills and medical costs as time went by. However, she did this through a church, with the family friend being there. Evelyn also jumped on part time jobs for extra income, often hazardous and required her to leave for a few days. These were indie wrestling gigs.
Evelyn focused on playing to the crowd with her limited abilities. She needed to make a star for herself. It meant more money -- and adoration. So, she gradually changed her looks, donned a new hairstyle, altered her usual taste in clothing and took on the ring name Miss Fallacy to make herself a star, even if her skills were sub-par. She had an undeniable sweet charm. You got to see her grow from someone helpless to someone who can at least give it her best, even if she stood little chance. Her name got out there. But this wasn’t without injuries. However, it made her returns anticipated, which kept her career flames lit just enough. All her matches were recorded and archived, so when her mother reached the final year of her life, they watched them together. The matches, post-matches, promos and amongst other things on one DVD. She took a hiatus that year, then a year more after her passing, working actual part-time jobs. One gig was at a nightclub, cocktail server, where she was approached by an Ambassador for LAW to enter one of their training programs. They seemed to believe she had something to offer, even if a rough talent. She accepted, scrounging up her savings to fly to Japan, spending a year in training before being called up to make her name on the main roster. It was by all means her dream to go pro.

Personality
Evelyn is a high-spirited and amicable individual. She’s fairly extroverted and carries a general balanced confidence both in and out of the ring, armed with a sugar-charged friendliness to entice yours and my sweet tooth. You can note her for having great sportsmanship, tries to stand up to challenges and carries a serious lack of malice. This sometimes works against her, as she’s satisfied with failing if she tricks herself that she did her best. In such, while she’s eager to learn, she sometimes runs on her own hamster wheel. Why? Well, truthfully she gains her most satisfaction out of the attention and endearing herself to people. Trying to be cool. She’s somewhat of a real-life actor. She wants you to be interested in her. She wants to be liked and tries to put herself out there as likeable and interesting, which means she’ll often do a lot to get that approval, slip into different faces or slightly shift her attitude to accommodate. Beyond anything, Evelyn loathes negative attention. That’s why she’s incredibly tolerant of aggression and will often absorb any fault, wrongdoing or whatever to move forward, even if it’s not her own. She doesn’t like the conflict and is sometimes easily cowered by being verbally insulted. Occasionally, however, Evelyn can erupt when pushed into a corner. It has led her to act out in numerous ways from mouthing off with the fury of hell, to this sudden zeal of gusto and confidence to even doing things she didn’t think herself capable of in terms of personality.
To say she is emotionally-charged, is an understatement. She just wants to be everyone’s friend. It’s something her parents really encouraged. Speaking of whom, she holds great respect for them and gratitude for her stable childhood. She felt entitled to keep herself in good image for that and always try her best. A good diet, be diligent in her studies, exercise regularly and always have decent manners. Sometimes she loses her way when accommodating herself to people, often willing to let loose and try anything. Drinking and partying are the main things. Where, say, she still is trying to piece all the wild memories there. This makes her a solid ring of just superficial friends with a few deep ones. Most at arm’s length. She’s yet to conjure why, yet continues to believe herself beloved. Hopefully.
