Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Still in pain, Morgan was still forced to get up by Dawn, and she tried her best to keep enduring the pain even as her endurance was about to run out. Doubling over as she was brought back up on her feet, Morgan then took a knee to her gut, causing her to gasp out in pain, air driven out of her lungs after taking the hit. "UUGHH!!!"
Gasping for air, Morgan was then dragged closer to the corner where Dawn was planning her next move. Knowing that she needed to do something, she tried to formulate a plan. Placed near the corner, Morgan saw that Dawn had scaled up the turnbuckle, preparing herself for her move, so the petite wrestler would brace herself.
When Dawn soared over her and attempted to yank her down for a sunset flip, Morgan would try to catch the ropes, preventing herself from being forced down onto the mat. She winced as she felt the force from the yank, but she would resist it, hoping that Dawn would lose her grip on her waist when she was fully seated on the mat.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Morgan looked seemingly neutralised and close enough to the corner that Dawn didn't need to fly far for this gambit to work. Her plan was already laid out, so all the blonde had to do was just jump.
The very moment she slipped past Morgan, the purplette returned to life and grasped the ropes for dear life. "Urghhhh..." the final step aka the flip itself was halted by how much the petite woman anchored herself. Instead of bursting into a roll upon grazing the mat, Dawn instead dropped herself rear first, feeling a little sting. She desperately grasped onto Morgan's waist, hoping that she can at least get a slam even if delayed. Instead it only strained her body further so Morgan can slip out if she may.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Anchoring herself by grabbing onto the ropes, Morgan managed to prevent herself from being brought down onto the mat by Dawn. Shaking her head, she tried to get herself out of the predicament altogether by shaking herself free before turning around. With Dawn facing away from her, she could try something here as she would target her opponent's back with a kick.
After landing the hit, Morgan would move towards the corner, taking her time to catch he breath, draping her arms over the top ropes as she would try to recover. Hopefully the kick would be able to keep her opponent away from her for a while so that she could get herself ready for her next move.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Dawn could only hold her opponent for so long until Morgan turned 180 degrees, fully separating the two. Due to losing her means of support, the blonde was about to flop onto her back, until the purplette swiftly intervened. "Ahhhhhh!" The equivalent to multiple thorny vines whipping at her made Dawn shriek.
The sting was enough to prop the Canadian for a split-second before turning around slightly and lying on her back once more. Still feeling the burn, the only movement coming from the moonchild was slight swaying, thus Morgan was free to plan her next move.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Leaning against the ropes, Morgan looked at Dawn who was on her back after receiving the kick. Seeing this opportunity to go for the finish, Morgan steeled her resolve as she would then turn around, climbing the corner and getting herself up onto the turnbuckle, preparing herself for one big finish. Earlier, she failed to deliver the finish using this move, but this time, she was determined to bring a different outcome to this as she would stand on top of the turnbuckle, facing the ring and keeping her eyes on the downed Dawn.
Nodding to herself, Morgan would then take flight, leaping up into the air to perform her aerial finisher, the frog splash that she called Omega Impact. She was going to land right on top of her opponent with a splash, hoping that the impact would deal tremendous damage on her. If successful, she planned to keep herself on top of her and hook one of her legs with her arm for a pinfall attempt.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
It only came to Dawn's realisation that this cornered rat would bite the feline pursuer, having been drawn to this particular location. The circumstances have severely changed with the blonde's stamina being heavily taxed due to the extended nature of their match and recent injuries. She could only tremble upon witnessing the purplette about to become skyborne.
Like a previously carefree fly caught in the web, Dawn couldn't muster the strength to raise a single muscle for a hint of resistance. Morgan's finisher would arrive uninterrupted, using the Canadian as the dropzone. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The sudden momentum crushing her inside and out. Legs and head suddenly propping up only to collapse after a few seconds out of shock. A watchful observer could glimpse at a blank stare from Dawn's face. She was completely unable to free herself from the fellow lightweight's control.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Landing right on top of Dawn with Omega Impact, Morgan knew that this move should've taken her opponent out. Keeping herself on top of her opponent, Morgan went for the pin, and the referee went to count. She listened to the counts, hoping that this would be the end for her opponent. She wasn't sure if she had enough left in her tank if Dawn somehow managed to kick out, preventing the match from ending with her victory. But from the look of it, Dawn wasn't kicking out, even when the referee counted up to two.
"THREE!"
With the third count, Morgan could feel that the pressure was gone. The match had ended, and she was victorious. Sighing out in relief, Morgan would get herself back up on her feet and have the referee raise her arm, declaring her the victor. The crowd cheered for her, and the normally stoic wrestler showed a small smile. But she knew this struggle wasn't over. In this tournament, she would have to face more competitors, and if she was lucky, she might get herself the number 1 contender spot for the lightweight title.
After a brief celebration, Morgan decided to check on Dawn. She said nothing as she held her hand out to Dawn, as if offering to get her back up on her feet.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Still in a stasis of paralysis thanks to the Omega Impact, a slug would look more mobile compared to Dawn, who wouldn't budge even after the second count. Every move in the last minute couldn't have been more decisive. The hunt has finally ended. Morgan would take the kill and proceed to the next round, while Dawn Wilder would hope to reincarnate into a superior fighter another day.
As part of her usual nature, she wouldn't be bitter at all towards the other wrestler who truly earned their right to progress, even if there were still too many mysteries. However once the defeated woman slowly regained her bearings she would glimpse a new refreshing sight, the mostly quiet woman smiling proudly. If it weren't for Dawn's curiosity, she might have been a bit more stonefaced herself.
A branch was offered to her and since she was still feeling a bit groggy, she accepted Morgan's help and was finally at an equal level. "Congratulations on your victory. I hope to see that smile of yours again in the later stages." A warm smile of her own morphed on the Canadian woman's face.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Dawn took the offered hand, and Morgan nodded. It was quite a hard-fought match, and her opponent deserved this respect. Before she made her way out of the ring, Morgan gave Dawn a pat on her shoulder before saying a soft, "Thank you." Then, she made her exit, leaving the ring and heading to the exit where she would recuperate backstage. Her music was playing triumphantly as she left the stage. From this win, she would proceed to the next round where she would face another wrestler. For Morgan, she would prepare herself for whatever challenge ahead of her so that she could make a name for herself by getting herself an opportunity to become a number one contender.
Winner: Morgan Frey via pinfall!
