Personality: Asumi is a proud woman. A veteran of the sport, she's old enough to remember when men ruled wrestling and women were barely even thought of. Because of this she's incredibly spiteful towards male wrestlers and seeks to put them in their place.
Towards her fellow female wrestlers however she's very warm and motherly, always looking out for them. Though she will gladly step in to educate those who don't know how easy they have it and take it for granted.
She's developed an ego, believing that she had a bigger role in helping female wrestlers be taken seriously than she actually did. She often wastes time in matches talking down to opponents and trying to humiliate them, especially men, which tends to backfire.
Background
Asumi was an incredibly cheerful young girl growing up. She always saw the best in everyone around her and was able to make friends incredibly easily. She was also a huge wrestling fan! She would practice some of the moves she saw on tv at home and occasionally on the bullies at school.
That love of professional wrestling never left her as she grew up. In fact it only grew stronger. Eventually it became so strong that she didn't just want to watch anymore. During high school she started training for real and once she graduated she enrolled right into a local wrestling school. She picked things up fairly quickly and was one of the more promising trainees the school had.
One day a scout came by looking for fresh talent. He had come from one of the larger promotion and seemed particularly interested in Asumi. This was her big break. Asumi sparred with another one of her fellow students and won decisively, showing the scout what she was capable of, and was immediately signed on. She could hardly believe it, her dream was finally coming true!
However, things didn't go exactly as Asumi had hoped. Before her debut, her managers presented her with some new ring gear. The new attire was incredibly revealing though and clung tight to her body, leaving little to the imagination. She politely refused, telling management that she preferred her homemade attire she had used throughout her training, but they explained that she didn't have a choice. A refusal would be a breach of her contract.
She reluctantly wrestled in the skimpy attire, picking up some wins. The fans seemed to like her and she was making a name for herself within the organization. She even began dating one of the more popular male wrestlers and would accompany him to the ring during his matches, though he always seemed too busy to do the same for her.
Then one day her opponent wasn't able to make it to the arena, and with no women available to replace her, management simply canceled her match. She argued with them and asked why they wouldn't just book her against one of the men. She was more than capable of standing in the ring with them. Their response would completely change the way she saw the industry.
"That's the problem. We can't have our eye candy making our talent look bad."
Asumi was floored. She knew she was attractive but she also knew she was very skilled. But to think that she had been signed only for her looks alone? What had she been working so hard for? Things suddenly started making sense to Asumi. She had always thought the promotion seemed a bit disorganized, but as she paid closer attention she realized it was just the women's division. They were just an afterthought to management. Even her boyfriend was just using her looks to get the fans to pay more attention to him.
Furious, she abandoned the promotion at the first chance she got and dove into the indie circuit where she would have much more freedom. She was a changed woman. Her bright-eyed optimimism had been shattered. She didn't change her attire, accepting that was how people would see her anyway and embracing the attention her looks brought her. She was going to use that attention to bring real change to women's wrestling.
She would specifically seek out matches against men to prove that they were no better. Many of them would underestimate her and be humiliated because of it. Asumi had a righteous cause, but over time she developed an ego. Soon it became more about revenge, getting back at the industry's men for she had been treated.
Her career continued long enough to see women take over and become a driving force in professional wrestling who were taken as seriously as they deserved. But Asumi was still full of spite. Many new wrestlers didn't know the hardship she had to face. And even worse, there many men who took advantage of the influx of female wrestlers and the rise in popularity of intergender matches. They were a disgrace to the sport.
As a veteran of nearly two decades, Asumi has now come to LAW to take care of the men who think they can stand at the top. But perhaps her hate will get her into more trouble than she can handle.

Asumi will never give up and can really take a beating, giving her plenty of time to make a comeback, or giving her opponent plenty of time to humiliate her.
Finishers:
- The Bloodline Ender: An especially powerful version of an Atomic Drop.
- No Man's Land: Asumi shoves her opponent's head between her thighs, squeezing the life out of them with a standing headscissors. If they refuse to submit, she swiftly transitions into a piledriver and spikes their head into the mat. (Although sometimes she does this even if they submit.)
