In the ring, Takira is a simple woman: She's in there to do business. Take down her opponent, preferably by submission, get her money, and leave. No wasted movements. No mercy. No wasted breath; she doesn't do a lot of talking, but when she does, best believe it's important.

After discovering a toddler Takira alone at home, her mother having left her home alone overnight to go clubbing and later stumbling through the door the next afternoon, her grandparents would take her in and raise her themselves. They were loving, if strict.
They taught her the value of hard work, making her look for work to occupy her time in the summer during her teenage years. She would work a variety of odd jobs, but would take to hairdressing, and later, after being sent to live with other relatives in Fort Lauderdale to further her education, combat sports. She had a natural talent for fighting, as several bullies would come to find out when she caught them in the act. It would take some convincing of her uncle and aunt, but when she was allowed to train, she would end up thriving.
She trained in a variety of martial arts. Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Combat Pro Wrestling, and perhaps most prominently -- because of the identity of the person who trained her in the art -- Boxing. Stanley Hughes, who happened to have a brother who was quite the playboy before he got married, with one of his last affairs being with a woman from Jamaica, who he met during a vacation in Fort Lauderdale...
She learned that she had two half-brothers out there, in Wisconsin. Although curious, it would be something that she would ultimately decide not to pursue, mainly because it would put her in contact with the bastard who knocked up her mother and left.
After winning an amateur boxing tournament, Takira would look into Combat Professional Wrestling, and would be brought to London to train under one Daria Kendra Matthews, a Strong Style wrestler who was quite renowned in her day for being one of the most diabolical -- and successful -- villains that professional wrestling has ever seen, though life as a wife and mother to a special needs child would temper her. Morally, anyway: Training underneath her was brutal. Only the strong would survive to see the end of her curriculum.
Takira, of course, would persevere.
As a reward, Daria would send her to her old stomping grounds: First the UFCW (United Full-Contact Wrestling) in Daria's native England, where she had gotten her own start. And after some success, JCPW (Japan Combat Pro Wrestling), the very first promotion in the world to feature unscripted, full-contact pro wrestling. By the time Takira had joined, it boasted top tier Strong Style combat to add to its fame. She would face many daunting challenges there that forced her to shape up like never before, and these challenges would see the birth and rise of "The Trapmaster", a competitive, but brutal pro wrestler-martial artist that LAW scouts would waste no time in recruiting after her discovery.

Takira is a well-rounded Strong Style wrestler, bringing in a style that blends technical wrestling, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Boxing that makes her capable of handing just about any situation that may occur in the ring. That said, she likes to do her business up close, with a liking for trapping her opponent's limbs in order to maximize her offense up close. She utilizes a quick wit and an analytical mind to adapt to and counter her opponent's offense and come up with creative ways to bring them down. She is also quite powerful, possessing highly developed core strength that makes her capable of throwing others about with ease, and she makes maximum use of this with suplexes and slams to drive the breath and good sense out of her opponents.
In terms of striking, her training has instilled a strong Muay Thai influence with some power based in-boxing thrown in. She likes to pull opponents in for punishing elbows and knees, and favors killer hooks, uppercuts, and a vicious ground n' pound otherwise.

A Deathtrap match is a bout with a lightened no disqualification stipulation: Weapons are not allowed, but anything the competitors can do with their own bodies is fair game. The goal is to render the opponent unconscious with a submission hold. If they are knocked out in any other fashion, they will simply be revived and the match will continue.
